About this cottage rental

Mustique is a spacious (over 800 feet) luxurious beach escape suitable for a couple. It is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach on the Scenic 30A and a short 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the swimming pools.

The carriage house is set on 2 floors with downstairs being an open plan living area with kitchen boasting brand new modern appliances, granite tops, double-door fridge with an ice-maker and water filter. We have both a keurig and drip coffee maker and supply filter papers.

The living area is fully tiled and has a comfortable sofa and large flat screen TV, which leads out to a secluded patio with gas grill and seating area. This is also the perfect setting to wind down with sundowners. The upstairs area has a full bathroom with his and hers vanities. The bedroom has hickory hardwood floors with vaulted ceilings and several windows allowing the natural light to shine in. The bedroom deck overlooks the trees and green area where you will hear the tweeting of birds awakening you each morning.

All linen, soaps, bath, beach towels and amenities for a couple of days are provided. Use of beach chairs and an umbrella are also provided.

Destin and the outlet stores are only a 20 minute drive away. During the Spring and Summer months there are several free outdoor concerts in the area, many within walking distance form the carriage house.

Seacrest Beach boasts a huge recreational area and have 12 000 feet of swimming pools, only 80 yards form your front door. The accommodation is a short 5 minute walk to the beach, or you can catch the free golf tram service directly from your front door to the beach. After the beach you can rinse off with the hot/cold outdoor shower right outside your front door. Seacrest also has a gravel walking/jogging trail surrounding the community, else one can run or cycle the 17 mile Scenic 30A.

Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available.

One small dog weighing less than 20 lbs are permitted UPON REQUEST. This is to be pre-approved as separate linen and furnishings are used for pet friendly guests. There is a pet fee applied to confirmed pets.

Great location, easy walk to Rosemary Beach & Alys Beach. Laura was a great host - provided plenty of information and was easy to reach. The house was the perfect size for 2 people (and a dog!). Loved that we could walk across the street for easy access to the beach! Would absolutely recommend.

Laura and Anthony were wonderful accommodating hosts! They made our stay, check in process, and first visit to Rosemary Beach so easy and stress-free! Carriage house is a beautiful, charming, very clean property with amazing proximity to Rosemary and Seacrest Beach. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

I booked Mustique for a spring break getaway. We could not have had a better location and experience! The house is actually nicer than what it appears in photos (can I suggest a photo of the front of the unit?). Modern, spacious, clean--it has everything you need for two. What a charming neighborhood! I had no idea how captivating the neighborhood is. Lots of walks to admire the houses, greenery, pool, beach. The pool is so close. And the beach is definitely walkable, although the tram is hard to pass up, it's so darn close and easy! Loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants at Rosemary Beach. But, also loved the shops and more laid back vibe at Seacrest Beach. A great mix. Plus, a nearby Publix for everything we forgot. Would love to stay again!

The place was exactly as in the pictures, very cute, clean and comfy. It was also great to have beach chairs and a parasol as well as everything one needs there because I was flying in and couldn’t take many things with me so that was very practical. I would stay there again any time.

This was a great place. Easy walking access to Alys and Rosemary Beaches for dining and shopping. Easy access to walking to SeaCrest beach. Access to the pool is a big plus. Cottage is perfect size for our stay. Area is very quite and relaxing. Laura was a great host. Highly recommend this cottage.

This property was even better than I hoped. It was the perfect size for my quiet little getaway and it had everything I needed to work, relax and enjoy the beautiful Seacrest Beach. I had the pleasure of meeting Laura, the owner, when she stopped by to say hello and she is just lovely. I will definitely be back for another stay.

All check in information was accurate and on timely. The box that the key was in was very hard to open. With help from security we were able to retrieve it. The actual carriage house was very clean and met our needs for a busy weekend.

The carriage house was perfect for us - ideal location to pool / beach / great coffee shops & restaurants (LOVE Fonville Press and Citizen just a short walk away). Comfortable furnishings, lovely bathroom, easy parking & a place to lock our bikes. Thank you to our hosts! Would come back in a heartbeat.

We were here during Spring Break so young people and families were aplenty. Wish it was a bit warmer but a very good location for getting around. We enjoyed surrounding beaches that were less crowded than Seacrest. The state parks close by are nice to explore as well.

The carriage house was perfect for our stay. It’s cute, clean and had all the basics needed for our stay. We didn’t arrive until after dark so it was a little difficult to find and use the key lock. It would have been helpful if a light was left on. Otherwise, a perfect stay! Thank you!

This was a top rated rental, location and scenery, however…. Something really needs to be done about the beach! There is no room on the tiny little beach for the amount of people who use it. I was very dissatisfied with the beach situation. We ended up driving to the public beach which was phenomenal but with the money we paid for this place we should have been able to have a decent beach to walk to. Therefor I cannot recommend this particular location! The vendors need to go! So unfair that they take up so much room!

This home was perfect for my husband and I. It was so close to the beach, had lots of paved trails to ride bikes on, and the pool was so nice and very close. The only thing that could have been better was maybe a bigger bed. My husband and I are taller people so it was just a little small for us. Overall a lovely place to stay with lots of things to do nearby.

Great spot for a couples getaway! Seacrest is a beautiful community and convenient to all our favorite spots. The house is lovely and spacious. Bed was ok, pretty creaky as another guest mentioned. Kitchen cookware could use updating and some cooking spray/oil would be a nice touch (we bought some Pam and left for the next guest) but otherwise had everything we needed and no real issues. Thanks for a nice stay!

This cottage was top notch, in a very nice neighborhood beside the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was well equipped and very clean and decorated so pretty. We would definitely stay here again!
