About this cabin rental
6 Bdrm 4 bathroom cabin with rustic features overlooking Centennial Mountains, Henrys Lake and bordering Yellowstone National Park. Gorgeous setting situated near the famous Henry's Fork of the Snake River (6 mi), Madison River (7 mi) Earthquake and Hebgen Lakes(10 mi) Premier trout fishing/flyfishing destination. This beautiful cabin houses 16 at a time with plenty of bathrooms and spacious kitchen (fully furnished with utensils etc). 18 ft ceiling with fully glassed front overlooking the Centennial Mountains and Henry's Lake. Laundry/Utility room, 2 large hot water heaters provide nearly endless supply of hot water, dual dishwashers etc. Huge wrap around deck with table and BBQ/gas supplied. Horseback riding, waterskiing, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, ATV use, zip lining etc., nearby as well as all West Yellowstone, MT has to offer (16 miles away).

Our group of 14 was comfortably accommodated. We were able to take day trips to other areas (Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, Bear World) and also enjoy the quiet neighborhood and peaceful views. The kids enjoyed the cows on the neighboring property and there were lots of games at the house. Paige was easy to get in contact with and we had a great stay overall.

There wasn’t an option for 4.5 stars or that’s what I would have given it. The listing says 7 bedrooms when there is actually 6. The 7 is an extremely comfortable living room . There is no AC. With the windows open and cool nights we were still comfortable. The views are spectacular. The location was perfect and the cabin was second to none. Highly recommend this home. Paige was awesome very accommodating and responsive

Nice, large house. We had more than enough room for 10 people. Awesome views of Henry’s Lake and the mountains. Only 25 minutes from the park. I would highly recommend this location if you have a large group and want to stay outside the park.

We traveled with 16 of us and stayed at this beautiful home!! It was absolutely breathtaking from the moment you pulled into the beautiful Mountain side subdivision! Paige was Amazing to work with and the home had absolutely everything you needed. The view is breathtaking!! I loved waking up to the cows on the hillside every morning. It was about 20 minutes from the West Yellowstone Entrance the little town of West Yellowstone was so much fun to walk around. The home doesn’t have air-conditioning, but with all the open windows, it definitely cooled off in the evening. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking to travel out in the west Yellowstone area. It was absolutely perfect and I hope to come back someday.

Great cabin for a large family wanting to be together as they explore the area! Communication with the property manager was excellent. She reached out to me before arrival, gave some suggestions for the area and was also quick to reach out when we checked out. Nice wrap around deck that offered space for our whole family to sit outside in the evenings after a day of exploring Yellowstone. Good distance from the park so you aren’t in the busy of the town but not too far. Only hiccup for our family was that towels had to be washed and in dryer before we left.. We had 12 people and a long drive home. trying to get up early and have towels washed and dried was difficult in order to leave early so we all showered in evening to get it done… if you can’t start your day without a shower that’s a bit upsetting .. but honestly that’s the only complaint and more of an inconvenience rather then a complaint

This place was perfect for our large group. Tons of space for everyone and great location, close to the west entrance at yellowstone. Everything you need plus way more is here as far as kitchen supplies- if we couldn't find it, we just kept looking and always did. It was a great trip!

Our immediate family (15 of us - 8 adults and 7 children) just spent an amazing week here. The cabin is spacious and comfortable to accommodate all of us. It is clean and well supplied with just about anything one could need while on vacation. It’s just a short distance from Yellowstone National Park. We drove into the park every day that we we there. The drive there is about 15-20 minutes. Communication with Paige, the property manager, was suburb. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a vacation rental near Yellowstone National Park.

Island Park Dream
The property was beautiful and exactly as pics showed. The kitchen had a great pantry, 2 dishwashers, and so many drawers and dishes in the cupboards you could feed an army. Stairs were an issue as there were many going down to the bedrooms and laundry rooms as were the steps up to the master bedroom. All rooms were filled with to and towels. I marveled at the house itself and the huge attention to detail. They covered all the bases. The dining room had a table for I think 16. It was a real, quiet and unplug for us all. The deck entertained our hunters each morning and evenings where they found elk and even a bear in the back valleys behind the house. Powerful bino’s were abs are a must. Pronghorn’s were in mass along the hiway 87 road toward West Yellowstone. It was a wonderful stay and experience. The owner was easy to contact and most accommodating. Thank you all for a family vacation that we may never have the opportunity to do again. There were seven adults and four kids from baby to 5 years old. We lived it!

Jock and his wife were extremely accommodating and helpful. Any questions I had were answered quickly. The property is even better looking in person. We had 11 people in our group and there was easily room to spare. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Everything in the house worked as it should and the place truly felt like home for the entirety of our stay. Thanks, Jock, for providing a great house and excellent hospitality!

Absolutely AWFUL!!
I do not understand the reviews on this house which said it was clean and well maintained. This house was DISAPPOINTING at best and the interactions with the owner were horrific. This house was FILTHY when we arrived. The couches were ripped, a lamp was broke, bugs were on the countertops, the floors weren't swept (visibly soiled), there was trash in the trash cans, the fridge and freezer were disgusting, the carpet was ripped and torn up (there even was a chunk of carpet that didn't have padding under it). The foam mentioned in another review was out. We spent a whole day of our vacation cleaning this house because it was so disgusting. When I reached out to the owner (Jock) about the condition of the house he was BEYOND rude... said he would send his cleaning lady to the house where first she was a no show at agreed upon time in morning and then he rescheduled for later that day after we waited that morning and before agreed upon time she showed up when we weren't there. He then offered to give refund on charge for house but when I responded (as soon as had signal again when back in civilization) he said "good luck" and refused to issue stating that was only if we left and refused to discuss further. To say the least I am disappointed and would NOT recommend this cabin!!! I wish I could attach photos to this review to show the extent of the awful condition this cabin was in when we arrived. I would give this cabin 0 stars if I could! If there are any issues, the owner will be incredibly rude, NOT resolve them and will offer a refund and not follow through. Do NOT stay here!!

This house is beautiful and was perfect for our family vacation to Yellowstone. The drive into the park isn’t bad and the views from this deck are phenomenal. The house is stocked with everything you need. I do wish that the deck had outdoor furniture or rocking chairs to sit outside in and enjoy the view. Otherwise it was the perfect property.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay. House is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Only hiccup we had was a pile of old foam laying in a huge pile in the lower family room area. We did put it in a closet because we didn’t want to look at it all week. House has everything you need to fix meals and entertain. Location was good only about 20 min from Yellowstone park gates. Loved that it backs up to nothing but the base of mountains. Front of the house does face a small neighborhood so if you are wanting isolation you’ll have it to the back but not the front. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Perfect escape!
We had an amazing time staying here. The house is beautiful - huge, clean, has all the amenities one could want. The location is perfect - beautiful views and close to many wonderful activities and attractions, including Yellowstone NP. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. One of our favorite things to do there was sit on the awesome deck at night, drink wine with old friends, and watch the stars. This place was awesome, and we would all definitely stay here again!

This house was perfect for our large group, big kitchen and dining table, large enough to eat and play games one on end, and do puzzles on the other end. Nice BBQ, and outdoor picnic table. the fire pit was fun, but bring your own outdoor chairs. Loved the views, and close location to the rivers and Yellowstone. Had a wonderful stay!

My mother's first words when we all walked through the door of this house was, "When are we coming back next summer? Let's book it now!" We could literally not ask for more - the gorgeous views, stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms, and enormity of the home, itself. The owners could easily ask 5 times the rate but instead are generously offering their oasis for rest and reunion.

Amazing Cabin
We stayed at this property with several families for a family reunion. The cabin is pretty much exactly as the pictures show. We loved our week at the cabin. The kitchen is huge and has plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans. The master bedroom is the only bedroom on the second floor, all the other bedrooms are in the basement. The library with the pullout couch in on the main level. My parents stayed in the master bedroom and said it was great, just a little warm. There was a fan that they turned on and opened a window. We had several couples that stayed in the downstairs bedrooms which stayed nice and cool. The view from the deck was amazing. I would suggest that you bring some camping chairs for the deck and fire pit. We booked this cabin last year and had several questions for the owner during the year. When we emailed the owner he was prompt to return our emails with the information we needed. I would definitely recommend this property.
