I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning vacation home in San Juan Puerto Rico, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! This spacious 5-bedroom home, complete with a beautiful pool and a cozy TV room, provided the perfect getaway for our group. The proximity to both the beach, restaurants and the airport made our trip incredibly convenient and stress-free.
The house itself is a gem. Each bedroom is generously sized, ensuring that everyone in our group had their own comfortable space to relax. The living areas are tastefully decorated and equipped with all the modern amenities you need. We spent most evenings by the pool, unwinding after a day of exploring the island.
The outdoor area is a true highlight. The pool is pristine and perfect for cooling off in the tropical heat. We loved lounging by the poolside, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The beach is just a short walk away, allowing us to easily switch between poolside relaxation and beachside fun.
What truly made our stay exceptional were our hosts. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly accommodating, kind, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great local tips and always being available to assist with any requests. Their hospitality made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to our vacation.

I rented this property for my daughter 16th birthday vacation with close family and friends. The host was at the location when I arrived and gave me a tour of the property and at first glance everything looked good until we walked to the pool area and immediately she noticed a beam hanging and stated she will send someone to fix it (never happened). After going food shopping and putting away all of the food, I noticed the water in the refrigerator isn’t cold. I thought I put too many can soda and water bottles so I removed some but the next day the items were not as cold as I am accustomed to, that night I noticed water leaking from the freezer side and reported it once it happened twice but no one came to fix it and I had to toss out food. One of my guest was brushing his teeth and leaned his elbow on the sink and it fell, my dad who works in construction stated the sink had fallen before and the patch job was bad so my dad walked around to check the other sinks and noticed the one next to it was loose also and another one was clogged. Lastly, one of my guest almost fell on the porch located in the front of the house, one of the wood flooring panels was rusted and a hole was created. Other than all of these issues the place was good place to stay. Pool was great, family room was great for the teenagers ( need updated TV’s. Hard to login into your own accounts), close to the beach and supermarket.

This was our first extended family vacation and this unique home accommodated us perfectly! We all had our own air conditioned rooms and plenty of bathrooms to choose from. Plus two sets of laundry units. The location can’t be beat. 5 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The home also provides beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers which we found very helpful! This home also has a generator and water system so that if the power goes out (which it did twice) you barely notice. So grateful for that!! The host was very sweet and welcoming and communication was seamless. Overall a wonderful experience!!

This place couldn’t have been better. Was very accommodating for a large group of friends. 5 min walk to the little private beach to watch the sunset and very close to all attractions throughout the city. I would highly suggest this house and will be back again soon!

Plenty of room for 6 or more with options for group entertainment as well as solitude if wanted. Close to the beach, Old San Juan and restaurants. Highly recommend Barbacoa right around the corner for lunch or dinner and the walking tour of Old San Juan. We had a group of 6 and this was a perfect location for us to spend our vacation. The hosts were accessible, accomodating and full of local informational tips.

Lovely spacious home!!! We loved this house, there was a lot of dining and seating space, which was exactly what we needed for everyone to hang out but also for everyone to be able to have time for themselves. The neighborhood was great, easily walkable to restaurants and the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The property was perfect for the mix of adults and kids (two 10-year-olds and one 7-year-old) in our party. It was centrally located and convenient for sightseeing around San Juan and other places. Everything that was within the control of the property owner/manager was perfect. As others have stated, there is some construction in the neighborhood that makes it a little noisy in the morning. Because we had read this in previous reviews, we brought noise-cancelling earbuds that worked perfectly!
The manager's instructions were clear and timely. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting San Juan.

We were hosted by John and Mayra and she welcomed us to the property. She proceeded of taking us on a tour of the property and everything was as advertised. Impeccably clean with all the amenities listed. About a 10 minute walk to the beach and a great deal of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. My friends and I are extremely happy we found this gem. Thanks, Mayra!

Most of us had never been before and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor feel of the house and the range of activities in the area. Be prepared for noise and a few mosquitos, but a great spot!

The home was clean and secure. Felt very safe. The amenities were good and plenty of paper and soap products were provided. The open indoor/outside set up was nice. More outdoor seating would be nice since the house does sleep 12 - but the other chairs seemed ok to bring out since the seemed weather resistant. Location was a short walk to the beach and a walk/bike ride to several restaurants. We traveled with all adults so it was a plus for us, but anyone with kids should know that two of the bedrooms are through an outside entrance. Only problems were outside of the owners control so not a judgement on the property itself, but the roosters were awake before 6 and power washing, Jack hammering and leaf blowing went on every morning starting around 7:30 am. One night only till 9:30. We enjoyed our stay and had a great trip.

Meeting the host in person to check in to this process is required and inconvenient. There are surveillance camera recording the pool and faced into the house. We covered them and the host entered the premises without our consent to remove them. We had minors in our group being watched on camera. A service person entered the home without our consent while we were in the shower. The host tried to charge us for a service animal and literally screamed at us on the phone when we tried to address the issues. There’s no comfortable place to sit for a group, the electricity barely charges a cell phone and the pool didn’t get sun anytime of the day during our stay.

Sometimes you see properties online and you think it's large and when you get there, it doesn't live up to the hype. This property was so spacious and much larger than we could have asked for! Great communication with the owners, pool was fantastic for kids and adults. Outstanding common area inside and outside. I would easily give this property a 10/10. If we go back to Puerto Rico any time soon, I don't see us staying anywhere else!

The house was fairly nice and spacious. However, there were several major issues -
- the neighborhood was incredibly loud at night - we have all lived in major cites and don’t mind some noise, but we were woken up every night with people shouting, fireworks, loud cars, dogs barking.
- a part of the windows in the common area didn’t have a screen and so we were inundated with mosquitoes and mosquito bites.
- the hot water in two of the showers didn’t work, which can happen, but it took multiple texts and three visits from the maintenance man and five days for it to be fixed. The management person was friendly and helpful but the owner was rude during our texts about this issue.
The pool area was nice, the bedrooms were comfortable and the common area was spacious.

We truly enjoyed this home. It was uniquely perfect for our group of 8 all over the age of 18. There is plenty of space. The bedrooms were well furnished and A/C worked great in the bedroom areas. The main area was open which was a cool concept, hard to describe but we all loved it, the little pool, the foozball, etc. (I would not recommend this home for anyone with toddlers, they would be hard to watch here.) We enjoyed dining both inside and outside. And there was a separate and kind of hidden room with A/C for watching movies or whatever. I did not go in the upstairs apartment too much but it also looked nice. The kitchen up there did have a stove, oven, and microwave but there were no dishes, refrigerator,or other kitchen amenities so I have to assume it is in transition of some type or they are phasing out the kitchen up there and turning it into something else??? If there was any con it was a neighbor's rooster that crowed starting around 2:00 a.m. and went on until morning. The home did not have great sound insulation so the rooster sounded like he was right under our window every morning. Definitely lots of city noises so hard to sleep if you are not used to that. The home did have great daylight blocking window shades-that was a positive.
The neighborhood did not feel unsafe and the cars could be locked behind a gate.There were a few restaurants to walk to but most things we drove to.
We had lots of good together time and plenty of room to have our own space.

Very comfortable and well equipped home with good-sized bedrooms and excellent beds. We were a large group - 8 adults and 1 toddler and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Location was convenient to the metropolitan area; Old San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde are just a few miles away. Some reviews mentioned early morning noise from barking dogs and crowing roosters. That does happen, but never for very long. We all brought blue-tooth portable speakers and used a fan app to drown out any outside noise. Worked like a charm! Mayra and John were very attentive and responded within minutes, even on New Years Eve. Would recommend this home!

This home was gorgeous! Great for families or a group of friends. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Walking distance to the beach and many stores/restaurants. They even provided Information for concierge who helped us find great things to do in the area. The property owners were very kind and provided everything you could need. Full kitchen with dishes and cookware. Towels, beach items. The communal areas were spacious and had plenty of chairs. The pool was more than enough space for 8 large adults. Beds and bedding were VERY comfortable. Will definitely recommend this home and will book again! 10/10.

Our stay was amazing but after 4 days we were ready to come home. The house was exactly as pictured minus the ping pong table and plus the mosquitoes. The host was amazing and very accessible when needed. She asked that quiet hours be from about 9/10pm on, which we respected. However no one told the neighbors in the surrounding area about quiet hours. Or the roosters! Besides that we truly enjoyed ourselves. A few recommendations: TVs in the bedrooms and cover those openings in wall next to back door to limit mosquito and cat entry.

This was a great place for us, there were 10 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was nice to have the pool to hang out in. Mayra was very nice and answered texts quickly. We would definitely stay here again when in PR.

We are a family of 4 and stayed with another family of 4. There was plenty of space, beach equipment and parking for 2 cars. The bedrooms were cool with air conditioning and the beds were super comfortable. The main living area and kitchen are not air conditioned which made it very hot if you are cooking. It’s best to use the outdoor grill for cooking. We spent most of the time outside and in the pool. The pool is a bit smaller than we expected but it served its purpose for us to cool off each day. You are walking distance to the ocean and restaurants. It’s about a 45 minute drive to El Yunque park and a little over an hour drive if you want to take the ferry to Vieques or Culebra. We had a great time at this property and Mayra communicated with us in a timely manner. Thanks for a great time!

50 Calle Almendro is a beautiful property. It was exactly as described online. There was more than enough room and beds for all nine of us. The bedrooms were large, clean, well furnished, and cool. The pool was the perfect size for us to enjoy each evening. The location is perfect-- everything we needed was within a 5-15 minutes drive, i.e. restaurants, Walmart, beaches, fuel for the cars, the movies, water excursions, Old San Juan, and the airport. John and Mayra were super kind and readily at hand if we needed anything. We had a fantastic time and we HIGHLY recommend this property. We're already making plans to return next year.

The security was great and we overall had a great time. Close enough to the beach and to the major roads and San Juan, that the stay was fantastic.

This property was great for our bachelorette group of 9. We didn’t realize two of the bedrooms and 1 bathroom were separate from the house in an apartment by the pool, but it worked out perfectly. All the beds were comfy and there was AC in each bedroom and the living rooms. No AC in the other main living area but it’s an indoor/outdoor that opens up to the pool.
Juan and Mayra were very responsive when needed. Sergio, the concierge was very helpful with transportation to Marina Puerto del Rey, booking excursions, etc.
The neighborhood is safe and walkable to some nightlife (which was great for us) but don’t expect a silent nights rest. Ocean Park Beach is about a 5 min walk. SJU, Old San Juan, and La Placita are an easy/cheap Uber ride away.
Would stay here again!
