Isla Verde Vacation

Facility and welcoming ambiance at the front desk. The amenities in the room as well as the view.

The choice of design carpet. And the edge of the spiral stairs towards the elevator- which is a hazard for taller folks.

Water damage that needs to be checked

The view in my room and the coffee shop in the lobby. Great coffee!!!

There was a black spot on the ceiling in the bathroom.

Great place to saty

The calmness of the facility. Very clean and very professional staff. Always a pleasure staying here. It's my 3rd time there.

Would come back and consider a longer stay. It is well priced and the room was comfortable enough for getting some rest

Clean and modern design. Easily accessible and centrally located. Courteous and helpful staff and parking was reasonably priced.

Music and people are a bit loud at the pool, so if room is near pool, the noise can be a pain. Lots of people around, expected at Isla Verde, so can't expect privacy or quiet streets.

Verdanza Hotel is an inviting, three-and-a-half star property located in Isla Verde. The hotel's guest rooms are clean and smart, featuring mini fridges plus bathrooms with shower tub combos. While it's not particularly ritzy, Verdanza offers everything you would expect from a reliable, upper-middle-range hotel, including a nice pool, a handful of decent dining options, and a central location. Verdanza pays a special nod toward pet owners with its pet-friendly policy for a fee, private off-leash park, and support of a local animal rescue organization. Travelers who prefer to stay right on the beach might prefer San Juan Water Beach Club Hotel instead.

Not on the beach, most rooms lack balconies, and fee for valet and self-parking.

Nice, wonderful restaurant with excellent food!

Comfortable bed. Room was nice with a good view.

The toilet seat was against the toilet paper roll. That part of the bathroom was to small!

The quality of the rooms didn’t keep up with my expectation for price I paid, which was expensive.

The housekeeper was very poor and the rooms had roaches. We were moved to a different floor but it also had roaches.

The staff was very helpful and responsive. The breakfast was a great value. The pool was good, but there wasn't a single umbrella or shaded area. There's a nice splash pad area for kids. We had a couple of minor issues with our room and had to be moved twice, but the front desk staff made it very easy to do. As of February 2023 it was only about $10 each way on Uber to Old San Juan.

Location is great… not the Verdanza from years ago…

Location and two women who checked me in

There was a shortage of pillows and I was told I couldn’t have more pillows. There was none available. The parking was bad and they made me park in an awkward position with a slope that scratched the bottom of my rental with concrete. I paid $180 for lack of service and comfort. Extremely disappointed. Also the balconies smell like marijuana and it creeps into the room.
