Entäuschender Aufenthalt in einem Hotel das alles zu bieten hätte.

Schöne Lobby, viele Unterhaltungs- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Sehr schöner Sandstrand. Gutes Buffet.

Die Hotelanlage/Zimmer sind etwas rustikal/alt (Ausnahme Premium Level Zimmer). Die à la carte Restaurants waren den Besuch nicht wert. Der Kinderclub war sehr schlecht betreut (fragwürdiges Personal). Viele Aktivitäten mussten extra bezahlt werden wie z.B der kleine Rutschenturm was unverständlich ist da ein Hotel weiter eine ähnliche Anlage frei zugänglich war. Das Spa war zwar schön doch war es fast unmöglich, spontan (nur schon für den Aqua-Bereich) einen Termin zu finden, obwohl die Anlage fast leer war. Im Allgemeinen war das Personal sehr desinteressiert am Wohl der Gäste.

Great for terrible food

Very nice beach and pool area.

Bad food. Period. Remember I warned you. They know it, you will learn it. Reservations for the “specialty” restaurants is a joke. Our group was limited to 2 reservations each for seven night stays. They claim you are “allowed” 4 but then only “Two are left available”… (even 4 would be a joke) Understand that meant for our people 19 nearly consecutive meals at the buffet. And the buffet is terrible. The specialty “Steak House”? Ha, it’s the lunch buffet meat brought to your table conveniently located in the lunch buffet room. Their old room key system is broken, get ready to count their excuses each time you have to take the long walk back to reception for new keys. Barcelo a massive hotel company that knows the key system is old and broken but just expect you to put up with it. What you gonna do?

Good to stay around Riviera Maya if you don't want to spend too much. Quality of the food is just OK and the staff s

the hotel facilities are great and they are better maintained that the rooms. the beach are is quite nice and wide

some of the parts in the room are old and not so properly manteined. For example the bathtub, there was a stain that could have been easily fixed. The last night big groups of teenagers arrived and as anyone could have anticipated, they were making crazy noise and party during the night. I called reception 3 times and still couldn't solved the problem... we basically paid one night of hotel where we could sleep at hotel. if you actually are looking for a holiday to rest this might not be a good option for you.

Excellent resort with friendly staff!

The resort itself is stunning - great facilities, quick and attentive service and friendly staff. The buffet had a great selection of food and drinks on offer.

Taxis are the main mode of transport and they all try to rip you off!

Save your money and go elsewhere.

The pool was great and swim up bar was fabulous.

Every bit of the alcohol was watered down, the staff wanted you to give money to “get” into the restaurants that were included, it was a constant struggle to get a table to fit 5, instead of a table for 4 with an extra chair pulled up, forget getting a towel if you forgot your towel card, I could go and on. I’m never going back and will never recommend this resort to anyone.

the room was well located.

the food … absolutely not up to expectations. In booking we had reserved a room of 133 m2 when in reality we had a room of 55 m2 and after insisting on the 2nd evening they agreed to make an upgrade supposedly out of courtesy. In reality it seemed that a description error was present in booking. what is the customer responsible for? customer oriented approach was to offer something in compensation of the room we used. algae sargassum… it’s impracticable… we came for the beach. over 4 days … only 2 days tractors cleared … and why only 2 days? we pay a sum of 475 usd every day for not having a passable beach? ok there is a swimming pool but there are swimming pools in my country. No need to come so far and pay so much

The bathroom was dated and something was broken or not working properly and there was a constant and annoying noise. The food on the Buffett was ok, more on lunch and dinner, but nothing outstanding. Maybe because of the number of people drinking, but the beer was not cold most of the time.

customer service was poor in many areas and great in a few other. short staffed maybe. didn’t speak much if any English, asked for wash clothes and they brought bath robes . didn’t clean our room on 3rd day and ran out of toilet paper next morning and didn’t receive any for 2 hours after calling front desk 2x. no towels for pool. with my daughters food allergy there wasn’t a lot of variety she could eat, but they were great with making sure no cross contamination. seaweed bad on beach.

The beach area was amazing, definitely the best beach is at Maya Beach and Maya Caribe. The pool areas were great, lots of activities to do around. Best kids area is located at Maya Colonial.

It seems the hotel was understaffed overall, long waiting at the pool bars. There is no beach bar, shame. The waiting to get a towel in the pool area was long. The buffet at the beach/pool restaurants was not the best, could have been much better with more options.

I had high hopes for a fabulous week, but left disappointed.

Great location and large beach.

The food was redundant and mediocre at best. Room keys needed frequent reprogramming. There was a lack of information such as map and resort, shows at the theater, etc. Lines for the bar were long as there was one bartender. ice machines weren’t working and bottled water was warm.
