Nous avons changé d'hôtel la dernière nuit tellement on n'en pouvait plus de cette saleté.

La piscine

Tout le reste. L'hôtel est tellement sale (tâches partout, cuvette des toilettes vieille et vraiment crade, pleine de moisissures). Il faut insister pour avoir un couvre lit propre sur un duvet (ils laissent les duvets sans couvertures en prétendant que c'est neuf alors qu'ils sont plein de tâches. C'est vraiment sale partout! Même les menus de petit-déjeuner sont déchirés, le service est quasiment absent, on doit chercher les employés pour demander un jus. Même le café est du Nescafe qui date de mathusalem. Au final, après 2 nuits, nous sommes partis en perdant une nuit car c'était plus possible cette saleté.

Horrible experience

I didn’t like anything about the property

The bathroom had a frog, spiders, ants and they were in the suite as well. The suite was dusty and needed a thorough clean, the bedside tables were dirty and the bathroom was filthy with grime and limescale everywhere. The food was underwhelming. Due to this, I decided to check out the next day. They didn’t refund me for the full remainder of my original stay and they only offered me a 10% refund and in cash, only for bookings.com to advise me after the fact that the platform only charged me for one nights stay. I’m still currently chasing up with the property for the remaining refund that I am owed. I am a solo traveller and it was my birthday and my first time in Bali. Not the best experience at all and would not recommend, especially since the property is listed as a 4 star.

Disappointed that rooms not in better condition and property should state location more accurately. Lovely people workin

Lovely garden and outlook from rooms to swimming pool. Staff friendly. Aircon worked well and room spacious.

Bathroom covered in mould. Pillows mouldy and staff did not replace when requested (or if they did when I was out they were still mouldy!) Chlorine in swimming pool so strong that my eyes were stinging long after getting out. Location further from the beach than stated. Quite a walk to any cafes.

Has potential but needs a lot of help. Could be absolutely beautiful just a shame.

Pool People Evening Meal was lovely. Atmosphere very tranquil

No water in kitchen or hand basin Dirty Sheets old and torn, doona patched,. Towels ragged. Unable to regulate hot water in shower. No phone, no kettle, tv did not work, SAFE not secure to wall. Not adequate amount of pillows.

Value for money - Grand stay

I liked the environment and staff there. A pretty decent place to enjoy your solo time. The rooms remind you of the old kings of Asia. The bedsheet was a little torn, but you can ignore them. The swimming pool is the best thing here. The cottage will give you a grand feel. They give you free bicycles to roam around. Value for money. I would love to stay here again and again.

The location is a little difficult to find on the first day. But after you check in, you find it quite convenient.

Staff were mostly friendly. Rooms were comfortable & clean.

room & facilities were clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. There was a mix up when we first arrived & after the first day we were able to change rooms to the one we had originally booked/ payed for.

Shower wasn’t hot. Bit hard to access as you have to go down an alley each & every time when leaving/ going back to hotel room after being out.

We loved our stay

We loved the garden and swimming, it’s relaxing and has a very nice energy and it’s well cared. The place is situated in a quieter area so you are away from the crowds but still close enough from the main scene with you want. We prefer local places and everything is easy to find. Staff are very friendly. I you are looking for a resort this is not a good option !

Cleaning could be improved in the room, however you spend the time outside so it’s not big issue , towel could be in better shape but it’s a minor detail comparing with the

Ok but not great

The pool was beautiful. The room was comfortable. Air con and wifi good. $65 per night .

The location was 40 min walk to beach with no warungs close by for a meal. They did provide push bikes but they were in a shocking condition with flat tyres rust and loose parts on all of them.If the bikes were working, location wouldn't have been such a prob.Shuttle bus broken too. Mould in shower and all over ceiling in bathroom which didnt really bother us but not a good look and easily fixed.

Wonderful Balinese Feel

Beautiful gardens with flowering orchids everywhere, well maintained, long lengthed pool directly in front of our villa just as we had hoped. Helpful and happy staff, great air conditioning and a rustic, open air bathroom with plenty of hot water from a great rain style showerhead. Loved the wooden, carved Joglo style villa building - very traditional. We arrived at the Garden Villas with an open mind and were satisfied with the facilities for the very reasonable price.

Stairs down to outdoor bathroom and outdoor kitchen were a little treacherous, especially when wet - caution advised during the night. We never had a problem but would advise care if staying in a Joglo Suite. Not much natural light into Orchid 6 villa. Doors and wooden window shutters could be opened to let light in but not if aircon was in use. Neighbouring villa had a glass window so not all Joglo villas were this way. Simple kitchen facility so keep expectations to a minimum.

Lovely introduction to Bali beach holiday.

Lovely long pool to swim in, nice room facing the pool, great to have use of a bicycle to cyle up and down the beach front 5 minutes away.

Food good value but choice not huge when staying for a week.

Very charming place with a gorgeous pool

The pool was perfect. The absolute best thing about The Garden Villa the Joglo Villa was charming though a bit old. The staff was very accommodating.

The facilities are quite old. The place could use a little maintenance. The towels and linens were not always clean, but they were very quick and great to replace them

Horrendous

Walk away before you book this place. I can’t believe it’s rated four and a half stars. The pictures on the websites were taken when the place was new, definitely not updated. The bathroom it’s horrendous, not clean, full of dirt marks and the toilet doesn’t have enough water pressure to take your “download “ through the pipes. The shower has calcium and dirt stains over the tiles that you would not wish to go. If you are lucky you will have enough water to finish your shower. The bed linen and towels have had some good use with spots all over. The mat on the bathroom is a bit of an old towel. The outdoor kitchen it’s ridiculously old, the cupboards don’t open and I wouldn’t put anything on that filthy fridge. Horrendous experience! I have complained on day one and ask to be moved to a better room and was told by the manager that the hotel it’s fully booked. I can’t see that myself but hey ho! I have asked Booking.com for a refund and no help whatsoever, which is a shame but living and learning. Good people don’t spoil your precious holidays here, there are more nice places to go.
