might be ok for 1 night, but not as cozy as it looks in the pictures

it was ok, but not what we expected.

it is off the main track and we thought it will be quite…it was noisy, you can hear people who stay in the neighboring rooms (they stayed up late and were loud from 5 in the morning). my guess the stuff could told them that there were other guests. there is also noise from the restaurant nearby. when we checked in we were met with “good, I have to go soon, so let’s be quick” - not a way to welcome you guests I guess.

Cosy home feel at the door of Patagonia

A wonderful cosy homey room, with comfy beds, warm floors, smart and useful designed amenities and a beautiful view.

Some of the shower heads could use an upgrade.

we had a very comfortable stay at Posada Larsen and felt very welcome in what is a very nice property, with a grand view

The staff and owner were very friendly and engaging. They had really useful information about the tour options on Lago Argentino, which helped us a lot. The location provides a nice view but town is still close.

The rooms are very nice and the view is great. The staff was lovely. Overall a cute pousada for a stay in Calafate.

The breakfast could be better: the pastries didn’t seem homemade, the orange juice was very industrial (tasted like medicine) and the yogurt was very acid.

We've spent just 1 night here, but we were happy with the accomodation. The room was spacious, cosy an clean. The view from our room was exceptional and the stuff was very attantive and helped with any question. Warmly recommended.

We received a warm welcome at checkin. The lane view from the room was lovely! Very cosy room with basic amenities but worked for a night just passing through town. Simple but tasty breakfast.

Everything about this place was wonderful! Our hotel room was clean and comfortable and the views from our room were amazing! The hosts were all friendly and welcoming and gave us helpful tips on what to do in the area. I’d highly recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat!

The best place to stay in El Calafate!

Posada Larsen is that type of small, cozy B&B where you immediately feel at home. Apart from the typical amenities that you can find here, the views of the lake and heated floors make up for such great perks! We felt very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed for a perfect stay. Juan, the owner, is amazing (thank you again for everything!). He was there to help with tour options, tips and generally making sure things run smoothly, all while taking the time to connect with us and chat. It felt more like visiting friends than renting a room, I would definitely stay there again if I come back to El Calafate!

Nothing to add here, our only regret is that we did not allocate more days to explore the area. :)

Cozy hotel to stay close to El Calafate’s downtown

Firstly, Juan’s hospitality was incredible. He gave us a lot of information about the town and places to visit. Breakfast was so delicious and fresh. Room was so warm and clean.

Cozy accommodation with amazing hospitality!

We stayed in the triple room with lake view and loved the view from the bedroom + little window in the shower. The room had a good size and was in the perfect location to walk into town. Highlight however was the great hospitality (incl. breakfast, takeaway sandwiches, laundry service, restaurant booking, ...) that Juan offered us!! Would highly recommend staying there!

Nothing to complain about. Great place with great hospitality!

Great accommodation in El Calafate Few minutes walking from the main street of the town and with a great view to Lago Argentino. The room was very clean and well equipped. Juan, who runs the place, was super friendly and very attentive. Great recommendation for Calafate

We spent 1 night at Posada Larsen and we really enjoyed the service, even though we arrived late, we received all the instructions, by message+ note on the door. We had to leave early the morning after, and we really appreciated the early breakfast especially for us. The room is cosy and near all shoppings and restaurants. On the top of that, they arranged an airport transfer. Everything hassle-free. We really recommend this place
