Superb

This property is located right in the middle of the town. A great leisure vibe and the staff are very helpful. The host makes a very delicious breakfast. It is basically a wooden village house and I love their decorations and the cats.

There was some loud music in the night which stopped at around 1:30-2:00am. Probably that came from the bars and pubs nearby. I know this is not in the hotel's control.

Very pleasant stay

Amazing staff, the girl at the reception gave us a lot of information about the area that helped us a lot to plan our stay. Loved the breakfast, very good food. We had a problem with the hot water, they have fixed it on the same day. Very good location, 2 min away from Ado bus station. Nice big room, free upgrade and we could also check in an hour before the check in time, it was a bless as we have travelled by bus to get there.

Noisy street at night, very high volume music from the clubs around. We have struggled to fall asleep. However not the hotel fault, which provided ear plug too.

sad, scary and noisy place. We wanted was so surprised by the standard that we wanted to cancel our reservation. The owner said that it must be agreed with the booking. Booking wrote it needs to be agreed with the owner :( (who doesn't speak English). They confirmed our staying in the system, which was not true :( charged money and do not want to pay it back

Location is great and the courtyard is nice. Staff seemed friendly. When the water worked (it didn't the first morning) the pressure was good and as warm/cool as I wanted. They turn the A/C off when you leave but it cools down reasonably fast.

At first it seems like a great room because it’s as far away from the street as possible. But then you learn that the walls are thin and the people managing it are right next door and hanging out at all hours right outside the door. On the other side of the room is the maintenance area and there seem to always be people talking there and making general noise. They provide earplugs but you don’t expect to need them because of the staff. Maybe the other rooms were better, I don't know. If you give it a try, make sure you don't get THAT room. I probably should have tried to move, but I also find it unacceptable that this would be the room they'd give ANYONE.

We had a very nice stay

Very nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms, beds were made every day. Beautiful plants all around and four friendly cats :) Great localisation, it is a big plus too

A noise coming from the street at night but actually I got used to it after some time.

Rip off.

The bed was comfortable and it was clean the staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate but there was no choice.

For the price it was shockingly basic. It was really noisy. There was a club next door with music until 4 pm. and a lot of noise from the street. Plus there were manic dogs barking next door. The shower was weak and very difficult to manage to get right temperature. The towels were pretty poor. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff. I got sick during my stay and they helped me a lot, calling a doctor and extending my check out time. In general they were super helpful and did everything they could to help me. More than that, the place is great, good location in the center and chilled/familiar vibes

Cozy and friendly place

It was a cozy place. Staff is really helpful and friendly.

Check in in Booking.com said from 12:00 onwards. I arrived after 15:00 and my room was not ready yet. Located almost next to a bar or club that plays loud music until 4am. You get some ear plugs and maybe it could help to sleep a bit better.

Quiet and relaxing retreat!

Room was amazing! We loved the vaulted thatched ceilings. The free breakfast was also delicious and worth making time for, but the staff was the best part. Super friendly and helpful every day! Can’t say enough.

I will remember this hotel as one of the nicest hotels I was in.

Really nice and friendly atmosphere. The recepcionist Speaks English very well. You can communicate with him easily. Really nice and tasty breakfast.

Jungle vibes in the heart of Tulum

Great atmosphere (you feel like you are waking up in the jungle), nice and available staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast and very clean room. Great location, when it comes to restaurants, bars and clubs.

Very noisy all night long, especially during the weekend, but appreciated that earplugs were available in the room. Water pressure is very feeble. Payment by credit card comes with an additional 3% charge on the overall price of the stay (it was the same in other hotels as well).

Hidden gem in center of Tulum!!

it’s very cute and cozy. The rooms (upstairs) have a jungle vibe. Surprisingly there are absolutely no mosquitos. The bed is enormous and comfortable, it has very high ceiling so it doesn’t feel humid nor hot (there is also an aircon). The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but delicious!! We intended to stay for 3 nights, instead we stayed for 5. I would definitely recommend

Great place

The staff were very very friendly and informative you could tell that they genuinely cared about their job and they made the stay so much better. The hotel it's self was very pretty and the room was a really good size and the shower worked really well. Best place we have stayed in our 3 weeks in Mexico highly recommend 👌

Perfect short stay with locals

Right in the heart of Tulum, everything you need for a short stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Came with a free breakfast and 3 cats that lived on site, which was perfect for my animal loving heart.

The mattress was very firm, and due to the grass roof you occasionally got spiders and mosquitos throughout the night (especially if it rained). But it kinda added to the charm in my opinion.

Very relaxed!

The host and hostess were really kind and no question was too much too ask. Also the location was awesome, almost missed it walking by but when you enter from a busy street there will be a certain calmness inside. Hammocks for chilling and a green environment.

We had room #1 which was very near the reception and breakfast/chill area so a little noisy (they did provide earplugs already with the soaps though so that’s very thoughtful)

It is a hostel like they came. Full of charm, loads of info. Good breakfast. Good coffee. Kinda with an indoor garden which has a nice vibe. Nice staff.

It is on the main road and central. So a lot of traffic noise and some clubs across the street play loud music untill 4 in the morning. The hostel provides earplugs. Which kinda is a give away, when you think on it. Without the noise and loud music it would have been real nice.

Very good hotel but very noisy!

It is just a few minutes walk to ADO bus station. I have got a yummy breakfast.

Very very noisy during the whole night. I think near the hotel is a Nightclub with loud music until 5:00 am. But the hotel provides earplugs. It is possible to sleep with earplugs.

A fabulous little oasis in the heart of Tulum with great breakfast

A fabulous little gem in the heart of Tulum's main strip. When we arrived we were greeted by Ale who was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and clean, with fresh towels and complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner. The aircon worked really well and the bed was comfy. The decor is nice and the tiny little courtyard is really cute and tropical feeling, like a little oasis. The absolute best thing about this place though is the breakfast! Lovely coffee, fresh fruit, yoghurt, delcious sweet bread with jam, scrambled eggs with beans & toast. Fit to burst and sets you up well for the day. They also let us leave our bags there for a few hours after check out which was a huge help. Thank you for a lovely stay!

There's nothing I didn't like, but if I were to be critical I'd say the room was a little dark and breakfast is only served from 8 - which is a little late if you're wanting an early start to the day.

Amazing stay, unless you need strong wifi

Loved the location, and the friendly staff. Could get anything and everything you could need by foot.

The only issue was the wifi connection was terrible, and actually non existent in the room.

Very charming and intimate small hotel in the very centre of Tulum!

L’hotelito is very well located, right on the Main Street: less than 10mins from ado bus station, and many restaurants and shops right next door. The hotel has a lot of character: very rustic, there’s a mini jungle right literally two meters from your front door! The best part is the breakfast: simple but excellent as it is freshly cooked. I can still remember the taste of those fresh fruits, yoghurt and scrambled eggs!!
