Light, airy, en-suite room with fridge and comfy bed at a good price.

Breakfast was good and piping hot with a nice selection of cereals and fruit segments. Location-wise the hotel is a short walk from all the local pubs, restaurants and Lake Windermere. With on-site parking it ticked all the boxes

Great location

Great location , good size room and beds comfortable , fantastic breakfast.

Breakfast 9am-930am for everyone,and must checkout by 10.30 all very regimental, having said that we are booked again in Nov

Dene House was perfect for what we were looking for in a break, would book again in the future

Location perfect, breakfast very good

Television was a bit iffy, took a while to get going but in the end we managed to watch the tennis Saturday night.

Family weekend away

Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Great location just off the beaten track, so peaceful of an evening but just a short stroll away takes you into the centre of Bowness.

Great location hotel pics didn’t do the hotel justice much nicer and good value for money .

Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice allocated time for breakfast was good so wasn’t busy in dining room the location was superb perfect 5 minutes walk into town.

All here was beautiful and clean, the owners always thoughtful, friendly and supportive: superb.

The food was lovely and the location ideal. The owners bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed after the area was unexpected plunged into Tier 4 mid-stay (government rules permitted us to complete our stay but many facilities, including restaurants had to close or change). We were given lovely canapes and prosecco for New Year's Eve, chocs in room, etc, and really, superb and thoughtful support throughout in negotiating the new rules.
