Excellent place. We'll be back soon.

Location is perfect for the village of Melbourne with lovely views, eateries and pubs. The food and drinks were exceptional, all served with a smile. The full english breakfast was really high quality.

Room was quite small but perfect for an overnight stay. Nothing really to complain about.

Really enjoyed out stay, could not of been better!

Location 2 min walk to center of Melbourne, which meant there was no noise. Staff were all very polite, courteous and friendly. Room facilities very good with tea, coffee, biscuits, etc etc and plenty of handwashing, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Very well thought out room! We attended a wedding at Amalfi White around the corner and the staff at this venue were far more organised and friendly than at Amalfi White!

Can’t think of anything that could of been better.

Great location, great food, clean room just a bit noisy.

The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom amenities were great.

It was a bit loud, which you expect at a pub I would suggest that travellers bring some EarPods if they wanted an early night. Also the room had a slight funny smell. It was all clean but not sure if it was the drains.

Very comfortable, welcoming with a great bar

Really nice place to stay, rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, staff were all incredibly helpful too. The bar is very welcoming with some great beers all in all an excellent experience

A GEM of a place

It was a totally amazing experience from start to finish. Brilliant staff and a fantastic breakfast. We are looking forward to spending a whole weekend there soon

Parking close by is a bit iffy but didn't detract from the great time we had there

Excellent, would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

The decor, the room was decorated very tastefully and the bathroom was fabulous, the breakfast was spot on!and the location was a great recommendation for the wedding we attended.

Its a pub on one of the roads in and out of the town so there was some traffic noise but thats to be expected.

It’s beautiful and charming, the food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We loved our stay and it felt quite luxurious! We are definitely going to stay again.

No breakfast available @ present. Micro brewery very nice. Location excellent for venue we were booked for.

Lovely toiletries and other stylish touches

Trying to negotiate the fire escape stairs and getting past all the empty beer barrels in the morning with my case and laptop bag - was a bit tricky for me but am sure others wouldn't find it an issue.

Perfect

Ate at restaurant upon arrival. Excellent food and great price. Sampled the locally brewed lager which was great. Really quaint bedroom lots of character. Would highly recommend this place for locality and value for money

If breakfast was available this would have been a bonus but due to staff shortages breakfast was not an option. There were some good places for breakfast nearby so not a big issue

Great rooms and great beer.

A family get together so we booked three rooms. So lovely to see a thriving busy pub. Right in the centre of Melbourne. Plenty of parking on the road or opposite the church. Quieter the first night as during the week though obviously Friday night had more noise in the rooms from the pub downstairs. Great warm shower rooms with quality towels and toiletries. Very impressed with the oat milk sachets for the coffee/tea and generous stock of sachets for same.

It's a shame that breakfast isn't an option at the moment.

Rooms are warm, cosy and confortable and the location in the village is central, although in a quiet area.Staff were very friendly.highly recommend!

There was no breakfast available as not enough staff.However, there are plenty of coffee shops in the village.

Beautiful rooms! And lovely finishing touches like the bamboo toothbrush which was brilliant as I had forgotten to pack mine.

It was so hot, there was a fan in the room but it just didn't help. The windows were too small to have any breeze. I know this isn't the hotels fault but I didnt get any sleep at all.

Lovely comfy hotel rooms, ideal location for Donnington Park circuit

Lovely comfy room, beautifully decorated with top notch toiletries and refreshments. Friendly staff, great bar, make sure you book for the restaurant as very popular, food was delicious. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
