The place itself could be fantastic. However, it is very run down. The view is very nice.
This place is extremely run down, all curtains and blinds broken, rugs all dirty, paint work grotty, lights not working, wooden panels all missing or broken, water pressure near none existent, two say this has x 2 bedrooms silly things like seating only for 3 people, only x2 wine glasses, randomly x2 tvs one on the floor one on a stand next to eachother, hair still on the floor from previous guests, there were cigarette filters on the floor in the bedroom from previous guests. All in all very expensive for not being maintained needs a massive makeover. Which is a shame as it would be amazing, but as it stands it was not a great experience.

There was no breakfast and no frypan to cook anything we bought.
From the beginning we were told we would be staying at Werna House London, which is located at 31 Monument Street. Instead, our accommodation was at number 49 Monument Street and was a much ‘seedier’ building. The attached photos looking out our window prove JUST how ‘seedy’ it was (a brick wall and nine air conditioning units as a view is NOT five-star). Then there were the patches on the walls that were not recent, followed by all the issues listed below. Believe us the photo of the room in booking.com is not what we saw when we arrived.
The most dangerous issue was the glass topped dining table where the glass wasn't secured to the pedestal and almost fell off onto the floor.
If the issues had been resolved within 24 hours of us reporting them, that would have been something, but they weren’t, and the majority (patched walls, damaged ceiling in the shower where water had poured through from the unit above, bedside lamp not working, no plug in the kitchen sink, no tea towels to dry dishes, no tongs in the kitchen drawer, no batteries in the TV remote) still remained the day we left, seven days after arriving.
Our advice is DO NOT BOOK WITH STAYINN.

A nice spacious studio
No wifi or usb sockets
Minimal equipment in kitchen eg no tea towel or sink plug

Fab location, great support. Property clean and tidy. Exactly as expected, would stay again. Great value.
Minor issues, light bulb not working and roller blind not working.
Biggest issue was Aircon, I couldn't get it to turn off.
No WiFi 😔

The location was perfect, the apartment was lovely and spacious. Right next to a lot of beautiful attractions, perfect to pop down and walk along the river and see all the sights. The monument was right next door so had a little trip up there for £6 thought why not as it was so close by! For the price, it was excellent value for money! Was very impressed with the apartment it felt very welcoming and I wish I could live there forever!

Clean.
It wasn’t the property I booked, which was the StayInn Monument. I chose this property as I had to work late (past the last train home) and needed somewhere to sleep. I had an email on the morning of the stay with check in details for StayInn Trafalgar Apartments. Thinking there was a mistake I called up and asked what was happening. I was then informed that I had been moved to a different building across town owing to electrical issues at the Monument property. No-one had thought to call me and let me know about this, just sent an email with access details for the Trafalgar building. If I hadn’t noticed the change I would have been trying to get into the other building. A simple phone call out of courtesy doesn’t seem too much to expect.
The access instructions for the property were also poorly written and I had to call the agent again to unlock the door. This was frustrating after making a journey across town which I hadn’t intended to take.
3.4
Location, cleanliness, modern, ease of entry
Couple of lamps didn’t work, this wasn’t a major issue.

The stay was in a really nice location. Metro and bus nearby. Also cafes like starbucks and rooftops. The room was pleasant and clean. Whole kitchen for cooking purposes.

Nice shower
No help from staff at all, had a very early check out time and not very cosy

1. Fast response, i booked the apartment right after my previous booking got suddenly cancelled. the management team confirmed with me right away, and even give me the early check in, though I didn't need it, it was good to know we have the option.
2. Cleanness, i wouldn't say the apartment was spotless, but it was clean in general.
elevator, it was very important for travellers like us have two huge luggages.
3. location location location, i couldn't be more happy about it. it is literally 5 minutes casual walk to the nearest subway station. and about 15-20 minutes walk to the famous London Tower Bridge.
1. the bed is too small, we were so afraid to fall off the bed all the time.
2. also the bed, we could feel the each spring of the mattress underneath us, it would be nice to replace with a better mattress since after a long day, a good sleep would help a lot.
3. there are only two tiny bottles shower gel and shampoo for us, we need to buy our own ones, it might be nice if the apartment provide big bottles like others do.
4. no salt or any cooking condiments so if u wanna come cook u need to buy it yourself , which we did; there is a washing machine but no laundry detergent, so we also brought one, so whoever stays in apartment 4, u are welcome!

Nice location.
Long winded check-in. Having to register photo ID for each guest is a bit draconian, as is the security bond. Photos in the ad need to be separated out into apartment groups .. we had the deluxe studio. Unfortunately, nothing deluxe about it. Blinds that don't work, broken shower enclosure, and a basin tap that you have to hold to operate because it's loose. In this day and age in London, who doesn't have WiFi? To Cap, it all a fantastic view of air-conditioners ! As comfortable as it was next time, I will go for a hotel for less money..

The location was amazing as I was travelling for work at it was only a few hundreds minutes away from the office. The main room was very large, almost too large for such a short stay. The flat was clean and gaining entry was easy with the good communication with the managers
I didn't notice that the flat didn't have wi-fi. I don't think I would have booked it if I had noticed this earlier. Although the main room was huge the bedroom was relatively small in comparison and the shower was a bit tight for me to get into. Once in it was fine, but the entrance to the cubical was narrow. I found it a bit annoying that there was (for a self catering flat) no tea towel to dry up or to even use to get hot things out of the oven. I also thought the flat was little tired in a few spots and while walking up the stairs the inspection panels were all open showing a load of muck and waste. I also didn't like paying/pre-authorising a £250 deposit.

Lage und Ausstattung waren sehr gut
WLAN nicht gratis und Fenster schliessen nicht so gut, was den Strassenlärm zu wenig dämmt.
3.4
Nothing
The apartment was not anything like the photos shown online, there was no mention when booking/paying that the company would then take a further £250 to hold incase of damage. The bedding and pillow cases had stains on them, the walls were stinking all around the apartment, limescale all over the shower. Make up marks and hand prints on the wall, a massive mark where a drink had clearly been spilt on a wall, terrible smell in the hallway on way to the apartment I could go on. Considering this was a “deluxe” apartment I have stayed in nicer b&bs
3.4
The lack of Wi-Fi
3.4
The apartment itself was really spacious, well-equipped and comfortable on the whole. Nice views and check in was easy once all the admin was out of the way.
Be aware: A £250 damage deposit is required to be paid a card by the named guest. I travel to London every week for work reasons and being expected to pay £250 of my own money was rather irritating. The tone of the emails required during the 'pre-check-in process' and another email on the morning of check out reminding me yet again that check out was at 10am; all felt quite naggy. Just found the whole process rather patronising. They also wanted me to submit a photo of my driving license to some online file-sending tool I'd never heard of. The secondary glazing wouldn't close so the road sound was quite loud at times and the air-con wouldn't switch on.
3.4
Apartment quality and location.
3 stage checking in process too long and complicated.
3.4
size was good, location was good
check in policy check out policy, upfront security deposit, visitor not allowed, no room service, no paper toilet 6 days one linen
3.4
The location was great, close by parking free 6pm-8am and very close to Monument.
The room was very nice and spacious and did enjoy the extra kitchen facilities.
I didnt realise that the booking process would be a nightmare.
Having limited wifi and limited power on phone meant I missed the booking process which is supposed to be done by 6pm.
You have to send ID of all the occupants who are staying and a bank "deposit) etc before you are allowed to check in and luckily I did have my driving licence (I dont always carry ID)
The rules are strict and your "deposit" may not be returned if you have a guest there or any other reason they may decide on not returning it.
3.4
As we needed.
The check in procedure is the mist ridiculous ever encountered m. Would not stay again because of it.
3.4
Excellent location, spotlessly clean & totally functional
Check in process was too complicated, anyone who is not IT savvy will struggle with providing ID via this process.
3.4
The apartment was spacious and bright with a great view.
There could have been some complentary tea and coffee sachets. There were also some things that needed fixing and updating. There were some wet clothes left in the washing that had an unpleasant smell when i opened the door. Also the lift was broken, so we had to carry our heavy bags up several flights of stairs
3.4
You stay here for the location - on the eastern end of Monument Street, right in the middle of where I needed to be this weekend.
The apartment was fine - some other reviews have mentioned issues with cleanliness, damage, noise, etc, but I didn’t experience any of that.
Some relatively minor issues with the flat itself - for example the bedside lights for some reason had Europlugs instead of UK plugs and couldn’t be used. The dishwasher turned on but refused to start, it’s not clear why. The kitchen was very minimally equipped - two plates, two forks, two cups… . Providing some basic cleaning materials like washing-up liquid would have been helpful.
The main issue I had with this booking - which probably would have led me to cancel it if I’d booked a refundable rate - was the intimidating list of rules and the complex and mysterious checkin process. Information was needlessly withheld - for example they could have said “there is a code lock on the building door and a keysafe outside the flat; we will email you the combinations for both at 3pm on arrival day”. Instead, all they would say when asked about the process was “you will be contacted with checkin instructions”. And then after all that they forgot to actually contact me until prompted.

Location v good. Clean, nice shower room with heated towel rail and heated tiles, and very modern fixtures and fittings. OK for overnight stay, if your in late and out early. Good access to City and travel connections. Supermarket's close by.
No WiFi. Very little natural light with view of brick wall and air conditioning units. Very prescriptive rules, documentation in the apartment conflicted with emailed details and didn't cover everything.
Only two of each Glasses, China and Cutelry, etc, even though there was a dish washer. Expected to get rid of black rubbish sack, but with very unclear directions in what to do with it.

Location
No WiFi!!!!
No kitchen cleaning gear.
Paper thin walls
3.4
Large, bright apartment next to the embankment. Bars and restaurants close by,easy to find, check in was very easy. Easy walking distance to most attractions and the markets.
The apartment was at the front of the building so it was a little noisy. Earplugs are a definite. But that is the only drawback.
3.4
NO WiFI
3.4
The room was Ok, definitely no views of the shard where we stayed, just a mucky alleyway
The booking process was an absolute joke, 30 emails to go through, have to lay a £500 damage deposit out, too busy worrying about damaging something to actually have a nice time, one staff member was very rude and tried telling me I hadnt paid the deposit when I had done it the day before, stood at the door of propery for 40 minutes trying to get access but staff was not prepared, full process was a nightmare tbh just to stay in a room for 15 hours.
3.4
Apartment was big, and looked in decent condition. had plenty to facilities (like dishwasher, washing machine- but lacking in offering any complimentary tablets or washing powder which is really inconvenient.
Location is really handy for central London.
The staff were responsive quickly over email.
It’s above a pub, and there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom as it faced onto the street. I had to keep my suitcase in the living room so my clothes wouldn’t stink. Pretty disgusting coming home in the evening and trying to sleep in a room that smells like an old ashtray.
(Obviously a bit of street noise at night also as a result)
I couldn’t have lasted longer than 3 nights dealing with that.
No WiFi- they are clear on that in the booking but it just seems odd to me as I assume these apartments are largely used for people staying in London for work.
There should be some dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder left to make use of those amenities.
The check in process is a nightmare of constant emails and Different steps to take.
Bed comfort very middling.
3.4
-Convenient location for where we needed to be
-Good mattresses, slept well
-Great views from the balcony
-Fairly straightforward check-in and out process
-Tesco Express close by to stock up
-Overall really quite disappointed for the price and all the points made in the policy I would expect nothing less than immaculate for a penthouse stay
-2 rooms and 2 showers booked purposely to find the shower room had no running hot water, extremely disappointed and all used the ensuite
-Mentioned when booking but no WiFi was a problem as mobile signal wasn't constant
-Had stained bed linen, a dirty towel, rug in the seating area clearly not hoovered, toilet roll holders would help also!
-Radio did not work, random additional tv on the floor
-Glasses and plates were not cleaned prior
-The blinds were old and broken, spent 20mins just sorting them out to have a little privacy but definitely not to standard
-I do think the zero visitor policy is a little excessive considering how many guests the penthouse can accommodate and can't even invite people to see it

Great apartment! Excellent location. Would return and will recommend it. Super comfortable.
We would have appreciated an extra blanket and a couple of extra bed pillows. Also, perhaps not a UK sort of thing but a couple of wash clothes would have been nice. The building front door does not automatically close/lock when existing and we often found it open and the building easily accessible to others NOT staying in the building. Lastly, perhaps defrosting the freezer and adding a second ice tray.
3.4
Excellent location, large apartment, very clean, good engagement from staff
The only negative was there wasn't any WIFI to avail of in this particular apartment - but this was clearly stated in the advert
