About this house rental
Cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house at the beach with water views in all rooms situated on a remote corner of the Texas beach.
Sitting on the edge of the island, this home and its outstanding location offers thousands of feet of accessible beach. The beach surrounding the house gets little traffic, which adds to the exclusive and truly relaxing atmosphere. Play in the sun all day, and then cozy up on the extended deck for an amazing sunset view.
Living Room:
The living room has an ocean-facing side with floor to ceiling windows, taking advantage of every inch of the magnificent surf view. Looking the other way in this room, more modest but carefully located windows offer a view out over the waters of San Luis Pass. A large smart flat screen smart television offers a Youtube TV account.
Kitchen:
The kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee-maker, blender, toaster, and appliances. The open floor plan provides the same ocean view as the living room out over the kitchen island. Enjoy a nice meal in the nook next to the kitchen.
Bedrooms (all bedrooms come with flat screen smart televisions):
The floor-to-ceiling windows from the living room continue to the foot of the queen-sized bed in the corner bedroom. This room offers a breathtaking view of the ocean skyline, as well as a beautiful view straight down the native beach.
The middle bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows left of the queen-size bed to create a sweeping view down the beach. Resist the urge to close the drapes at night and be rewarded by waking up to a fantastic view from your pillow. A fold-away desk is located along the wall, just in case the laptop-in-bed approach isn't your style.
The bunkroom has bed-space for 4 and a wall full of games, puzzles, and children's books. A comfy full-size bed still benefits from a nice view down the beach and allows this room to serve as a third master if needed.

The porch areas offer a shaded dining area with a view out over San Luis Pass, a sunny (at least during the middle of the day) area with Adirondack chairs with views of the beach, and a shaded/sunny lounge area with views of both.

This was our second stay in this house. The location is nice if you want to fish or have the beach to yourself. Our dogs bark a lot around people and other dogs so it’s a great dog friendly spot for them to enjoy their vacation. I was disappointed to see that had we booked on another site I’d have saved several hundred dollars for the same stay. Rather than make any adjustment the owner just stated we could simply cancel. The house was not as clean as it was before. We spilled a little water our first night and could tell the floors had not been mopped well as the white paper towel was solid brown.
The power went out our last night but was restored within 4-6 hours.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view from the rooms is incredible, as well as from the balcony. We found so many amazing shells here, and on the beach, which was a real short walk away. The host was very accommodating, and the place was very clean, which is huge! The coffee maker is a drip coffee maker, so it took me a sec to remember how to use it, lol, but glad to have it still….There is no outside trash bin and you have to drive your trash to the neighborhood dumpster, which wasn’t a big deal to us, but might be to others. All in all, the place was truly great and breathtaking….I didn’t want to leave, and tried to book it immediately for my birthday, but it was already booked! We hope to come here again one day. So grateful to have had the chance to stay here.

We’ve had multiple stays at this property over the past several winters, having enjoyed each. It has incredible views based on its location, including dolphins in the lagoon on which the house sits. It is well furnished and has always been clean and ready. This winter, the extreme cold impacted our stay, as water supply to the neighborhood froze, but our host was wonderful to keep us in the communication loop for things outside of his control. I understand the water system is looking at changes to help prevent future repeats of such problems. We still got to spend time out on the deck watching and reading, over looking the waves crashing on the rocks below, observing the beach just a short distance away, and watching incredible sunsets.

Other side had two vacant homes that were an eyesore but really the beauty of the other side made it not too bad. Owners had thought of everything and we probably would stay again in spite of the houses in the front of the house which were out of the control of the owners.

OMG!!! It was better in person than what is shown on the website. Rental had everything needed. We only had to bring food & clothes. Quiet, early morning walks on the beach & we were the only ones, dolphins playing every morning & evening. You can view the ocean while showering too. Very relaxing with an overlarge porch for us to relax after our day trips. We would give 10 stars!!!

We’ve been staying here for years! The timing has varied so that could impact expectations of beach cleanliness or crowding but the property itself is always amazingly clean and equipped with just about everything needed. For this stay the only bummers encountered were the starving mosquitoes, and a bad tv in one of the bedrooms. Other than that it was the farewell to Summer vacay we needed. Cannot wait to return with the grandkids in 2024!

Absolutely beautiful views of the beach and gulf. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all the cooking we did. Love that there was a Weber grill to cook our fish on! All of the directions for our arrival and equipment in the house were spot on. Communication with Eric was very easy and he went above and beyond when it was discovered a guest left some items behind. The only challenge was the size of the bathrooms, but it was a small price to pay for such a magnificent stay.

Had a great time in this very nice, clean and modern waterfront home, watching the waves and family on the beach! Very well stocked with kitchen items and daily necessities! Comfortable beds and nice bedding! Good info and communication from owner with recommendations and things to watch for and how to prepare the trip. Glad we had stocked up on food and water, a bit far to the store and owner had stated that.

We made a quick trip to the beach during the middle of the week to avoid crowds. This place was great, directly on the water which is what we had been looking for, and south of Galveston so the crowds were thinner. The home is well equipped and nicely updated. The beach is a very short walk away and was great for the kids in our party since the water stays shallow for a long ways out. The beach here is also great for collecting shells and fishing.

Great little cute house for family of 5 on the water! Just the right size for a cozy relaxing vacation. 2 bathrooms! Loved all the windows making even inside enjoyable. Plenty of porch space to enjoy the ocean view and breeze. Short walk to the beach. Could watch our 8 year old make it back to the house while sitting on the beach. 2 great options for restaurants close by. Treasurer Island neighborhood pretty secluded so that was nice. Some fishermen in front of house but mostly on the weekends and not much during the week. They were pretty quiet. Stackable washing machine convenient so no need to bring a lot of clothes/towels. Good cookware. Suggest bring extra trash bags.
