Great resorts. Rooms totally renovated, super cozy and clean. Plenty of stuff to fo for everyone. Food in restaurants is very good, ambiance and services is excellent.

We were there for 3 nights but on two separate night once at 4am and then another night 130am the fire alarm would go off. They were both false alarms. No one would inform our building if the alarm was real or false I would have to call the front desk and let people know as we were all standing outside in the cold with children. There needs to be better communication. We were in the Woodward building. The area was clean and food and bar area were nice. Pool was clean.

1st time here - loved it! Very relaxing, our room was HUGE! Loved the fire pit area. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Only downside was having to leave.....

The check in process is not consistent. I needed to check in another person, which was not the case the day before; and it took almost an hour to get it “approved”. Also, I would not eat here. It took 45mins for the restaurant 1878 (or whatever it is called) to make a waffle and two eggs. It wasn’t even that busy (5 tables had service). The servers were not properly trained and the manager was less than empathetic.

We stayed at the Lodge side. Rooms were dated, which was fine, but they were not very clean and the carpeted hallways smelled like feet. The resort itself is very nice with dining options and multiple pools. I heard the Lake side rooms were better but I didn’t see them.

NOT quiet on our second night because of a teen group party screaming and laughing just outside Lakewood.They were having a fantastic time, and we enjoyed watching them have fun, but the noise got old around 9pm. we came up after labor day for a reason.

Great place to go for a short stay. Golf course right on the property and two swimming pools. Very walkable property. We ate on the property and also went to a supper club a short drive away. A lot of rooms with a view of the lake.

Looks great with all the new white and upgrades! Just wish they would do a better job keeping eves and balcony’s free of webs and dirt. Pool skimming could be better. But we love LL!

The room is very "tired" and in need of an update. Balcony moldy, towel rack coming loose on the wall, trouble getting the AC to work properly. Will not stay in that building again.

This was the 6th family reunion we have had at Lake Lawn in 10 years. The renovations made since last year were amazing. The staff was very friendly. My key card would not work on patio door despite requesting service twice. My son was told his hat was at the front desk - the first time we went to get it, we were told they didn't have it. We got it after returning a second time. I thought housekeeping would straighten my bed but all they did was vacuum and put new towels in bathroom.

Positives: * My room was freshly painted and redecorated, we really enjoyed it. * There was a lovely view from our balcony * There was a fridge and microwave, which was nice, and 1.5 bath, which is helpful when staying as a family. * My daughter loved the "loft" for sleeping Negatives - * The tub has a VERY high side to it, which might be difficult for kids or people with limited mobility to get in/out. * I found the carpeting on the stairs to the loft in our room to be uneven (which is a hazard). * The outdoor pool was quite dirty while we were there. The pool deck was covered in dried leaves and twigs, and there was a lot of debris in the pool. * There were a few fitness machines out of order in the workout room. * There's only one laundry room for the entire resort, and it's far away from the main accommodations. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return at some point because I have business in the area and my family enjoys accompanying me. It's not a "perfect" resort, but it's an older property that's been refreshed and the negatives were not dealbreakers for me (but please clean the outdoor pool deck daily, that's just good resort maintenance!).

We arrived and there was a horrible smell that had been masked by perfume or air freshener. We called to switch rooms but nothing else was available without an upcharge. We had to keep our patio door open the whole time and they brought us a air purifier to get us through the night. Not sure I will stay again.

When we checked in, we noticed a terrible odor in the room. We called the front desk to see if there was another room, but they said they could only move us to a smaller room. As a family of 5, that did not work for us. The front desk told us they would send housekeeping, but all housekeeping did was spray Lysol. The odor was so bad that I ran to Lowe’s to purchase a large can of Lysol and 2 Glade plug in air fresheners. That helped mask the odor, but every time we left and came back to the room it went out on the patio and came in, you realized how bad the smell was. We called the front desk again and they came back and provided us 2 passes for breakfast. They said that was all they could do because we didn’t book through them. This was a very disappointing visit to somewhere that we have been to many times. I don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon if at all again.

i like the look of the hotel but our room had a problem with our bathroom door handle, it kept falling apart, and we fixed it but i was not getting charged for that, especially when it was given to us like that.

Beautiful space and view of the lake. Loved the little patio and chairs. Room was spacious. Linens were clean. Newly renovated so the room had a new feel to it but felt not quite finished…Had a bit of strange empty space in room/bathroom. Not sound proof able to hear other guests nearby and above us. From above us we were able to hear walking, running, jumping, crying etc! Bath was a bit dirty and shower head was filthy!! Overall would stay again. The cleanliness is totally fixable!!
