Hotel condition was about what we expected for the price. We were traveling with a small dog and this hotel was far more reasonable ($20/night) that other hotels we considered. There is a public part directly across the street which was very convenient for dog walks. Our main complaint was a bag of smelly trash left in the corridor by housekeeping. We brought it to the attention of the management in the early evening and it had not been removed by check-out. TV interface was virtually unusable.

The door to the room was falling off of its hinges…. RM210 They gave a drink voucher for the bar that was shut down by code enforcement. Expectations were not high given the cost of the room, but….

Our room was dirty, and I don't mean just a hair or a dirty towel, I mean dirty. I moved the pillow on one of the beds, and there was a dead fly, then i decided to look at the pillowcases. Almost all the pillowcases (6 pillows) were dirty (stained, mascara on them, dirt). The bathroom was the worst. The shower didnt look like it had a good cleaning in months. Dust, dirt and grime build up in the corners, the floor and the walls. We were in a handicapped accessible room because thats what they had left, and the shower chair that a handicapped person would use was dirty. There was absolutely hardly any hot water or water pressure when I showered and the showerhead was rusty and had quite a bit of calcium or build up on it. I knew we weren't staying at the Ritz Carlton but i have stayed at many Baymonts and this one by far was the worst unfortunately. However, the gentelman at the desk who checked us in was extremely nice and welcoming and the lady who checked us out was very nice and polite. I think they are due for a remodel or updating soon.

We were up all night from doors opening and closing. It was so loud, and it was not because the guests were being rude, it was that the doors were warped. So when you tried to open them, you had to kick the door in and then slam the door shut so it would shut properly. The bathroom floors were sticky, and totally needed to be updated. We got a text once we arrived to ask if we needed anything, and we texted back and said we needed toilet paper. Never received an answer so went to the front desk and the guy there said he had never heard of sending out texts. So we showed him the text we received and he said that must go to his boss not him. So he had to grab the toilet paper from the front desk and take it upstairs Would not stay here again again.

We showed up to wait in the front lobby with transients from the street hanging in the lobby with us for more than 20 minutes before someone came to check us in. The room was clean but run down and the front door to our room was broken and held together with finish nails (not secure). And the toilet was too big for the bathroom preventing the bathroom door to open. To top it all off, the room smelled like smoke and pet dander and had an almost empty roll of toilet paper.

Light switch as you enter room was not working, actual light was broken and hanging by a wire.Bathroom dirty, dust on the shelves where towels are stored. The base of the toilet was really dirty,had not looked like it was cleaned in weeks.Hot water took almost 20 minutes to get hot.Under the bed was food, garbage,bottle caps and broken toys. If we’re weren’t so tired after a long day at the Walworth county Fair, would have requested a different room, it was already after 8 when we arrived.Vending machine in lobby was out of water, manager on duty Kevin, gave me 2 bottles no charge.Was the only nice thing about the stay.Came down in morning at 8 am and the waffle batter was empty, most of the trays were empty as well.This was our first time trying a Baymont, have to say Never Again!

One ice machine by front desk, broken. Lobby area a/c (with bkfst area) had broken a/c. Bathroom sink pipes exposed. Shd/v/b enclosed in a cabinet under the sink. Not enough counter space although there was PLENTY of room for it. Hate a sinktop bowl! Back door totally unlocked! Shd be accessible ONLY with your room key card in order to enter the hotel.

The room was nice. Came with the essentials TV, mini fridge, and microwave. Had dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a step up from the regular stuff. The breakfast was the best, I had eggs, sausage links, waffles, banana bread muffins, Apple juice, and a banana to go on my way to the job I was there to do. I would most definitely stay here again.

I found one dead and one alive bed bug while we were there. Now, 24 hours after check out, both of our bodies are covered in bed bugs bites. It's absolutely miserable and I would never stay at this hotel again.

Older building but in good condition. Our room was a single king bed on the 5th floor. We were there in a busy Saturday night but I he noise level was not bad. Very convenient location in downtown area. Good restaurants only a short walk away.

The room sucked. No one spoke English well and we couldn’t get any room repairs. The toilet paper holder was broken and never got fixed, the bathroom door hit the toilet it was so cramped. The door jamb didn’t fit the door so it had to be slammed open, and then slammed closed.to sort of lock. Then wouldn’t lock fully. Boiler went down and no one noticed it themselves. Had be complained about.

The room was terrible, missing the light fixture above the bathroom sink just had wires hanging. The floors were very dirty. The bed linens had stains and were disgusting and not cleaned. Went down to talk to the front desk and the gentleman at the desk was friendly and said to go outside and talk to the manager who was sitting in his car, upon going outside the manager gave the gesture with his hand cutting below his chin gesturing that he was not going to talk to anyone and wouldn't communicate at all. Very disappointed and will never return to this hotel ever again. Stay away

This place is a dump. For 270 a night i would expect a clean room. Everything had stains on it and the smell on the 5th floor was horrible. Missing outlet covers. Hair in the shower and in my bed. Do not stay at this hotel. Half of our group changed hotels after the first night.

I was hesitant about staying after reading all the other reviews. Its a low budget hotel that is dated. King size Room was clean and looks like they tried to update bathroom but no counter space and could not open door fully to bathroom as toilet in way. Breakfast was a joke. TV Was the size of a microwave mounted on wall that u could not see from the bed. All i needed was a clean room to sleep in for 3 nights and it served its purpose for the price.

Arrived at downtown hotel. Vagrant was asking patrons of the hotel to buy him a room. John at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Bathroom shows wear and tear. No water cups. Hasn't been deep cleaned in a while. Room was hot, ac turned off. No luggage rack for 2nd bag. No electricity at desk, Lamp unplugged. No guide for TV. Breakfast was cold and not refreshed at 8am Very disappointing for a Baymont.

We left 30 minutes after we checked in. Our room had mold in the bathroom, mini fridge, and in the ceiling of our hallway. The TV was a 12-15 inch computer monitor size and it didn’t work. The water pressure was poor and when we checked the batteries in the tv remote, they had exploded. We called the front desk and they never came. We went downstairs and told them we were leaving. We started explaining ourselves and the owner cut us off and dismissed us. Don’t stay there.

We ended up not staying. It smelled awful when entering the front door. When we went to our room it had an unmade bed and wet towels everywhere. It has not been cleaned from previous guests. There was a long wait when we arrived. The pictures do not show an accurate picture of the old run down building. There was trash in the hallway. Shame on Expedia for listing it. We had booked a 2 night stay and had to pay for 1 night as a "cancellation fee" even though we did not stay. Awful place. Will never use Expedia again. Learned the hard way to book direct with hotel so you don't end up paying for a service you don't get

The room barely looked clean. There were snack wrappers on the floor by the beds and one of beds had gum dried on the headboard. The hotel lost power the second night and refused to refund any portion of the cost for that night after we had no choice but to check out early and try to find new accommodations. Awful experience, will never be back.

We drove in for a concert and the hotel lost power. No lights. No A/C. It was miserable. We left town a mere 4 hours after check in because the staff had no estimation as to why the power was out or when it would be restored. The manager refused any sort of refund in lieu of the inconvenience.
