Just submitted my comments on some other page of the sleep-inn. Disappointed about the non functioning pool/jacuzzi, overpriced stay with dog, Very noisy hotel inside, most likely a building structure issue.

Motel was perfect for our quick overnight stay for our long drive from SC to MA. Front desk associates were very friendly. Everything was clean and beds were comfy. I’ll definitely stay here again when in town.

The staff was fine. Room and property could have been much cleaner. Overall lacking in maintenance. Also, I missed the fine print about the extra charge for a pet. $35/day or $150/week. Hope it helps someone to see it here and not be surprised at checkin.

The room smelt like old dog urine and throw up. There was a hole in the closet door that looked like someone punched in. The smell was horrible. There was also mold on the walls. We received a room change. The second room was much better, but still had a musty smell and the top cover to the comforter were stained. Would not recommend. The grounds were littered with trash and old cigarettes.

Overall it is a nice hotel. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with variety of choices. The room we stayed was clean. But the ice bucket was dirty with bad smell. The toilet was clean but had yellow stains around.

This hotel is getting , old chips in the porcelain in the bath room curtains were in poor condition . Walls thin heard people outside in the smoking area and in the next room . The toilet didn’t flush completely, several attempts with little success .

The bed was the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever been in. Apart from the the hotel was in the state you would expect for the price point. The attendant at the breakfast was clearly very agitated and frustrated and was frequently yelling out rude comments at the large group of POC dining at breakfast so that was a bit odd. The rooms need some updating, as the tub and bathroom are very old and stained, and the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. Other than that good check in and check out process. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee in the lobby. Fitness centre is just three machines and no space otherwise. Breakfast included breads, oatmeal, eggs, sausage and waffle maker.

Shortly after check in and put my bags in my room (222) I was locked out. I had my key card rekeyed and it still did not work. The lady at the desk came with me to the room and the key card still did not work. Her master key did not unlock the door. She called maintenance who stated he was home in the bed and tired to tell the desk lady how to unlock a hard locked door. She stated she did not know how to do that and asked him to get out of bed and come open the door. All my luggage was in the locked room and I had an event to get ready for. It took an hour for the maintenance man to get there and open the door making me late for a previously scheduled event. The new room I was given had a dirty tub to the point where you could see the dirt and hair still in the tub. I ended up washing the tub myself because i didnt have time to get the room changed again. I did not have a good experience.

It was okay. Upon coming to the main entrance it reeked of marijuana. After checking out, I was leaving through the door and smelled the strong, disgusting stench of pot again. The smell was disgusting.

Our first room was dirty, water stains on the table, hadn’t been vaccummed, there was a tissue in the garbage, looked like the sink had just been used, they had no issue changing our room, thankfully. Second room the ceiling looked like it was falling apart and got fixed and slabbed on a paint color completely different from the room color. Property in itself was nice, it was a little expensive in my opinion, but it served its purpose for our trip. Would stay here again, just hopefully the rooms are cleaner

Beware of this hotel's pet polcy. While checking in I was informed that it would cost $35.00 per night for our 15 lb. Cockapoo. The extra $70.00 charge was not appreciated especially when they didnt come in to clean our room on the second day. I guess you have to read the fine print at the Sleep Inn's website. A terrible charge!!!

First floor room - smelled like a moldy shoe closet and the shower tile was gross. Door was crooked and you have to push with your whole body to move the front door otherwise door won’t latch. Floor was sticky. Alarm clock wasn’t set up to proper hour and lamps all crooked. Location is in a back lot. Couldn’t sleep all night due to the odors so I left as soon as possible completely unrested. Nice staff but do not recommend as a hotel. Nothing nearby.

The pool was not open, it's Summer and we picked this location based on a pool being there. The tub was DIRTY and only had a hand held shower wand that could not be attached anywhere to actually shower. There was no shower curtain. The hotel smelled bad, like sewage, in the halls. There was no ice available. The fire alarm on the wall began beeping as if the batteries were dead, very early on Sunday morning and could not be stopped. The provided breakfast was underwhelming and the food was unappetizing. For the price we paid, it was terribly disappointing to not only not get amenities like the pool, but not even basics like a decent night sleep, or a shower.

After a long day, there was no one at the deck for us to check in at 11:00 p.m. After waiting for someone to show up for 15 minutes, two people pull up in a car, jump out and come in to check us in. Very shady! We get to our room and literally had to bust the door open. The key was working, but the door was not. Turned on the tv and there was no signal. Couldn’t even relax once we got in the room. Would not stay here again. Having said that, the staff running breakfast was extremely pleasant and very attentive to the guests. It was a good ending to a disappointing experience.

Hotel is kept clean, breakfast is sufficient and the gentleman who runs it is friendly, kind and customer focused. Even fussed over our dog. We had a pet room, glad to see no carpeting! It was clean, certainly can use bathroom updates. No maid service for the 3 nights we were there. Not a great location for surroundings and not walkable to anything, but for us a convenient location for our purposes on this visit to Dunmore.

Do not stay here. Filthy rooms, fecal found on the sheets and walls, the closet and drawers had someone else’s clothing which was evidence the room hadn’t been cleaned. And that was only the room given to us after complaining about the first room which was as filthy. We left the hotel after driving nearly 1,000 miles and ariving late in the evening. We had to scramble another place to stay (The Holiday Inn Express 15 min away was much cleaner!) The person at front desk was apologetic and offered to speak with Hotels.com to be sure we weren’t charged for the room.

The first room we check in on May 18 the bathroom was dirty someone had either used it or someone forgot to clean it. The second room they gave us after the first room, smelled like mold the ac was off smh. I wouldn’t stay there again. I’m constantly going to Scranton atleast once a month and normally stay at Home 2 suites by Hilton Dickson city. We never have had an issue it’s clean.

Had a bad experience regarding loud neighbors. They said they have a quiet time which is 11-6am but people were loud all throughout the night and standing in the hall talking extremely loud. My girlfriend had a hard time sleeping but I was knocked out.

Our first room, the TV didn't work. Switch to another room and the phone didn't work, there was black mold in the shower area and they were doing plumbing work on graduation weekend, which resulted in brown water for half a day. After requesting to repair or replace the phone and to clean the shower. They never came by on a 4 day trip. They came to fix the phone but replied, it needed to be replaced and never came back. We ran out of clean towels and toilet paper within the 1st day of being there and couldn't even call downstairs for it. We had to go down request it and they never came..had to go back down to lobby for supplies.
