Un coup de cœur.

L’emplacement et le côté historique du bâtiment. C’était une belle découverte. Le restaurant et bar inclu dans l’hôtel.

Bien situé

L’hôtel est très bien situé et le bâtiment historique lui donne un charme. Le personnel est très sympathique et courtois. Le lit est très confortable. Le restaurant-bar sur place est un atout et nous évite de sortir. Le restaurant Carmen pour déjeuner est excellent. Près de l’autoroute, il est très accessible.

C’était la deuxième fois que nous allions à cette hôtel. Malheureusement, les chambres ne sont pas bien isolées et on entendait parler nos voisins comme s’ils étaient avec nous dans notre chambre. On entendait aussi leur télé. De plus, leur chien jappait. L’hôtel est très bien mais demander une chambre sans voisins à côté de votre chambre. Vous passerez ainsi un séjour très agréable.

We are looking forward to our next visit to our favorite hotel !

It is exquisite and unique , so well maintained. The architectural details are fascinating. Anthony at the front desk is so welcoming, helpful, and kind. He even remembered me from my last visit 5 months ago! The food at breakfast and at Trax was delicious. The bartenders and servers were outstanding. The room was great, the beds comfy . We've traveled a lot but this is our favorite hotel ! Who knew we'd find this gem in Scranton!

The toilets are low for people in their late 60s lol, but good for the quads!

Everyone was pleasant and very nice. Very clean. My problem was with Radisson itself. When I was about to go to bed I decided to check my checking account. It showed the hotel over charged me by $50. I didn't know if someone stole that money or what! I was up most of the night worrying. First thing in the morning we went to the front desk. She told me they hold that in case we wreck the room. We should have been told that at check in..even on the website before we booked our room. I was really looking forward to staying in that beautiful hotel. That put a damper on my trip. As far as the hotel itself I have absolutely no complaints. Its gorgeous and everybody working there could not have been nicer. The food at their restaurant was really good too. We would definitely stay there again because of all that but because of the holding back of money I'd have to think about it before I stay there again

We have stayed here before for all family events and visits. The facility has good amenities and is clean.

We were charged for the room twice. We had reservations with Booking.com and told the Front Desk person this. She didn't tell us that she couldn't find the booking and asked us for our charge card. When we got home we realized that we were charged by Booking .com and by the hotel. I tried calling once to resolve and was told that their system didn't allow them to look up the Booking.com reservation and then was disconnected. I have not had the time yet to call again but I get a sinking feeling about how hard it may be to resolve.

Not impressed with this hotel though it’s a beautiful building.

Beautiful building.

As soon as I checked in at 8:30 PM, tired and hungry, I was given a parking pass and told to return to my car and put it in the windshield by 11 PM. I’d carried my luggage and other assorted bags to the registration desk and now had to leave the hotel, return to my car to put the pass in my car and then return to the hotel again. Ugh! Then I’m trying to sign in to get WiFi and the directions to sign in don’t work. So, I call the technical support line and get assistance after waiting on hold. She asks different questions and then finally tells me it doesn’t seem to be working with my phone. I give her my phone info and she says I’m signed in. I tell her it still says it’s an unsecured network. She says it’s fine just don’t do any banking. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So, I turned off the insecure WiFi. Not impressed with this hotel.

All Aboard!

Our family group, consisting of three families, decided that this hotel was our favorite on a two week trip. The architecture was so unique compared to the typical roadside cookie cutter hotels. Especially nice are the tile scenes on the walls of the atrium depicting some of the sights to see in the route of the original Lackawanna Railroad.

While the original building is magnificent, it is evident that when the actual sleeping rooms were created during the retrofit, the quality of construction does not match the original. But the rooms are still functional.
