Great time at Casa Satoshi as a digital nomad

Great accommodation very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Different events happening but there is enough space in the hostel to be alone and quiet. Extended multiple times!

Very nice hostel

The managers were super friendly and you can easily book a bunch of tours with them or get information on restaurants and co. They also offer different activities in the evening. My private room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend the hostel and would have loved to stay longer.

We will miss this place

We stayed here for three weeks whilst doing Spanish school, the volunteers were great and the owner Foued is a legend, as is his adorable kitten. The location is good as its inbetween the town and the supermarket. There are lots of areas in the hostel to chill and the vibe was relaxed but very sociable.

Community vibes in a very chilled hostel

The stay at Casa Satoshi was very special and cool - the staff is exceptionally nice and overall it feels more like being part of a community. It is not a fancy accommodation but very authentic and with different areas to chill. The rooms are simple but cozy and spacious with lots of privacy through curtains and boxes. The roof terrace offers a beautiful view of the sunset, on Saturdays a DJ plays on the roof and we party together (who wants to). Foued and the many volunteers always give great tips and info away from the tourist destinations. The team is constantly building (fireplace, extension of the roof terrace, bar...) - who knows what great things are still to come.

Expect to be part of a more alternative community than to be served as a tourist - then the place fits well :)

The quality of the place and the team working there, it has been like living at home, it's a very friendly place where you can get to meet people in a nice way and located near the city center (couple minutes walk) you can easily move around. It feels like a chill share house with everything that a hostel could provide ! There is a bar and a really nice terrace, they organise different activities for the guests depending on the day, there is a nice breakfast with oats, good fruits and coffee all included, good hot shower, games, cheemney ... Well you can go eyes closed, i will come back !

Pleasant

Very nice staff, eager to help. Our private room was spacious and looked nice. The kitchen is very equipped for your own use. The place has cool design and social vibe.

We were in the private room so cannot say about the dorms. The bed was kind of broken and sunken in, the roof leaked on our bed during the rain, the toilet and showers weren’t the cleanest and pressure in both of them was pretty bad. In general the facilities were pretty poor. Also the shower flooded during the rain.

Amazing stay. Satoshi feelsim

The atmosphere in this hostel is amazing! Very easy to socialize with volunteers and guests. Everyone is super welcoming and helpful! The pods are very comfortable, and the space itself is cozy and feels like home! Some part of the hostel are still 'under construction', the team is working hard to complete everything in the best way.

Nothing really - I just believe that once completed will be even better than now!

Best hostel I've ever been to, no question!

Best hostel I've ever been to. Amazing people, epic vision, great staff. The rooftop terrace is perfect for chilling and talking with other guests. Super central location and easily walkable. You can pay or get change in BTC but it's not necessary. They sell snacks and drinks, run game nights, play football, have DJs sometimes on the roof, and lots more activities. The pods are also private and cosy with chargers, lights, a little shelf and a curtain. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

That I didn't stay longer.

Casa Satoshi really felt like a home away from home, despite only being open a couple of weeks, the owners, Jordan & Foued have managed to turn this place into somewhere that’s hard to leave- the people they attract and the energy they create here is incredible. All the volunteers were super friendly, welcoming and helpful with any needs you might have. I’m very grateful for the time I spent here & hope to come back and visit some day. :) I love the pod style of dorms- you can have a decent level of privacy and space for your belongings. lockers too were a plus. the kitchen was a great facility and the volunteers were always on top of it keeping it clean & tidy. the rooftop is a major plus for this place & honestly should be a game changer for anyone booking a hostel in San Cris.

it’s hard to say a bad thing about Casa Satoshi. One of the things I liked the most was how recently Satoshi is up and running and how much they’re working everyday to make improvements and figure out what works. I would say it’s important to have some respect and patience for the owners & volunteers as they’re still making improvements so if you’re someone with high demands, maybe it’s not the place for you.

A social hostel minus the ego.

Jordan, Foued and their team of volunteers are friendly and enthusiastic. The hostel just opened in January and the team are working on making it better. We arrived early and was able to check in to our room earlier. We had the double room and it was spacious. Clothes rack & shelves. A desk and chair for working. There was an issue with the lock on the door and curtain had came down. Both was fixed within an hour of Jordan being notified. Sunset social on the terrace was fun. Basic breakfast - toast, cereals and coffee was plentiful for us. They helped us organised the Sumidero Canyon tour. The location was close to zocalo & tourist places and within walkable distance to ADO bus terminal (15mins). It’s in a safe neighbourhood, with local restaurants, bar and convenient store nearby.

They did have some water/plumbing issue. Seems to be a town-wide issue. We do know that they are working on fixing this with better water reserve storage.

This comes my imagination of a perfect hostel very close. Kitchen and nice living room. Familiar atmosphere. Cosy beds with courtains and privacy. Nice roof top terrace to put the cherry on the cake. One of my Top 3 hostels i have visited so far. Much love to you!

Well promising spot

We spent only one night in Casa Satoshi but it was a great and memorable experience. Amazing people, amazing project, free sprit ! Their rooftop is really cool to chilling and talking till night! The hosts can give you a lots of addresses so you can vagabond in the city.

We would be happy with more breakfast options (salty breakfast ingredients for exemple)
