Voor het eerst een negatieve review moeten schrijven…

Prima ligging, dichtbij het centrum en tegenover een supermarkt. Het is ook fijn dat de toegang met een pincode werkt. Je vergeet zo nooit je sleutel. De marketing van het appartement is ook erg goed; daar heb ik grote bewondering voor; je krijgt vooraf de indruk een net en schoon appartement te huren. Helaas…

Ik dacht dat eerdere negatieve reviews wel mee zouden vallen, maar helaas niet…Ook wij waren niet tevreden over het verblijf. Het appartement bleek anders dan verwacht. De foto’s geven een fantastische indruk, maar geven een verkeerd beeld. Het appartement is zeker niet groot genoeg voor 5 personen. De bedden kun je geen tweepersoonsbedden noemen. Ze zijn iets breder dan een eenpersoonsbed. Het appartement is voor twee personen okay, eventueel kun je er met 3 personen verblijven, maar dan moet de 3e persoon op de bedbank slapen en die is niet comfortabel. En inderdaad een van de mensen moet dan in de kamer/kast slapen zonder raam. Zie hiervoor ook de andere reviews… De rolgordijnen werkten niet goed, waardoor het ‘s nachts erg licht bleef in het huisje. Ze konden namelijk niet dicht. Het grootste probleem was echter dat de kamer overdag erg heet werd, omdat je de zon niet buiten kon houden. We hebben hierover een bericht gestuurd naar Stay Urban en zij zouden het met de eigenaar overleggen (een zeer vriendelijke reactie gelukkig!), maar daarop hebben we geen reactie verder ontvangen. Het werd hierdoor vanaf een uur of 14:00 tot een uur of 21:00 bloedheet in het appartement. Er zijn geen vaatdoeken of theedoeken, dus houd hier rekening mee. Tot slot, het huisje was niet schoon. Er lagen voedselresten van anderen in de keuken, het fornuis was vies en er lagen een aantal damesslipjes in de kast in een van de slaapkamers. Overigens was dit de enige kast in het appartement, er is verder geen opbergruimte. En deze enige kast zit vol met dekens en kussens (en dus ook damesondergoed) zodat je je eigen spullen in je koffer moet houden.

A week in Bergen

Fab location, perfect size for our family of 4, comfortable beds, a cozy apartment.

Last weekend there were alot of bikers about midnight & the noise was obviously very loud.

Bad Service, Terrible Rooms

One bedroom did not have any windows and that was not shown in the photos beforehand. And the staff did nothing to compensate this issue. We even asked for a fan because the room was a furnace due to no ventilation, and they kept saying "they will get back to us" until my very last night. So nothing was done.

Very good

The location was great. The kitchen is generally well-equipped. There were plenty of linens and clean towels. We got the access code via email which was very convenient.

We could have used a bit more utensils and an extra chair for the dining table.

Loved it!!!

Loved everything about it. It's value for money, location, amenities in the house. In my entire Europe travel for the last 1 month this was one of the most comfortable places I stayed in. I was very pleasantly surprised. I give 10 thumbs up for this place.

They waited until the last 24 hours to give me all the details. My phone didn't work in Europe so that was a little challenging. I wish they had given the details as soon as I did my booking. I understand the code to access could be given at the last minute but the address to be sent sooner will be truly appreciated 🙏. Quick replies to texts were appreciated as soon as I had access to the internet outside the house. 🙏
