Bad internet connection during busy season

The staff was nice, and answered the questions politely, responsible, willing to help. The room is fine, clean, there is tea and a kettle, good bed, the room is clean, atmosphere is nice in general. The staff helped me return the money back for the day that I cancelled.

I came bringing work that I was supposed to be doing in the evenings, so having a normal stable internet connection was vital for me. However, when I came to my room on the 3rd floor, it turned out there is no internet connection whatsoever. When I went down to the front desk, the staff apologized and said that because of many people coming during Golden week, the signal is weaker, as it is not enough for everyone. They gave me the router to use, but the cable they gave me unfortunately did not fit into the Macbook (they never had a client with Macbook in this hotel before?). So, I brought the router back to the front desk and asked them to maybe change the room to the 1st floor (instead of 3rd) because the signal is better there. And of course they told me they are fully booked and there is no chance to do that. I had to cancel the reservation for another day because I was not able to work there and did not want to sit near the reception all the time. As this is 2022, I would say they should have find the ways to make the internet connection more stable, and anticipate more people will come during times like Golden week.

Good value with a great breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. I enjoyed every item in the buffet as it was well seasoned. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful.

The shouts and laughs of another guest woke me up at 4am. Not enough sound proofing in the room.
