Very welcoming staff excellent location grocery store in the corner everything was within walking distance time square is few blocks away a very spacious room and washing machines available and fitness room available in the ground floor Price is very reasonable compared to the rest of the hotels I will definitely choose it in my future trips

+ location + friendly staff + 24h reception and doorman + Good Wi-Fi and internet speed + ironing board, iron available in the room

- very outdated (furniture, kitchen, bathroom, power connections) - old and dirty carpet floor

The location and the subway is nearby.

The carpets needs to be changed, stained and dirty.Also the cooking pots needs to be changed.I bought a new frying pan ,used it during my stay and left it there.

Comfortable and Stellar Location

Wonderful location, have stayed here before, the staff is great and the rooms are spacious. Having a kitchenette is the highlight when you’re traveling for work.

A very convenient place in a location that I love (I used to live nearby). Met my expectations.

Basically, it was very useful for me staying at this location. I am very familiar with the neighborhood. I commend Ray from the front desk for his client service skills. The staff in general were nice. The place met my expectations. I would return if I had to.

To start with I hadn't been warned in advance that I would be needing to leave a deposit as security. The person who processed my check-in upon arrival, prepared my lease and charged me upfront 5 weeks in advance, did not issue an itemized invoice. He did not mention that I should be expecting fresh sheets on a weekly basis; I didn't get fresh sheets during the second week. Definetly, he is not a "people person". It was usually hard to get a washing machine available, there were too many people waiting and just 2 washing machines (4 dryers).

Spectacular location and spacious room!

Excellent location (my main determining factor + kitchenette), staff very friendly and attentive, was regularly left fresh towels & toilet paper. For Manhattan, a very spacious room.

I found a mouse in my room, at the front desk couldn't help me, so I had to sleep that night with it

Disappointing

As compared to other residential hotels,( Affinia, Beekman Tower, etc.), Murray Hills East is dirtier, less equipped ( wall hairdryers that require over an HOUR to dry one’s hair after a 1950s era shower), and the staff is so incredibly disinterested and not helpful in any way. I was here a month. I would never recommend this residential hotel to anyone unless nothing else was available. Not unpleasant, but there are better alternatives.

See above - I write for a European Leisure publication. This hotel is not on my recommended list.
