Worth It

Indoor pool and hot tub as well as outdoor pool and hot tub. Walking distance to the Beach, spray off stations. Hotel is secure, 24 hour desk attendant. Hotel staff was very nice and there was always someone cleaning something. For all the traffic in and out of the building, to and from the beach and pool the common areas were very well maintained, (swept, mopped, chairs wipped down, doors, windows, rugs) There is a work out room and a laundry room, also have few vending machines im the building. Hotel is located near many businesses.

The parking lot was a bit of a pain, and waiting for the elevator sucked. Alot of codes to remember to.

Wonderful stay

Ocean Park Resort room 802

Beds were very comfortable and the room was decent size. The room looked just as it did in the pictures. And the linen smelt so clean.

The shower handle was bent so it did not want to turn to cold water. The air conditioning cover on the outside fell off on one corner. We got up the morning after the first night and it had lost a screw.

Too expensive for what it was.

The pool area and access to the beach was great.

The rooms were not clean. There was food on the walls and it didn’t seem like the floor was cleaned. The tv didn’t work and when I called to ask how to work it they said maintenance wasn’t in anymore. Obviously we was gone during the day so by the time we get back no one could fixed it. One of the beds had a big blood like stain on the fitted sheets and the some of the outlets didn’t work.

Decent.

The young man at the front desk was polite and provided quality customer service during our check-in process. He explained everything thoroughly as well. We liked the options of having access to the indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub located right on the beach, and near restaurants and the boardwalk to celebrate my son's birthday. We utilized Uber services which was pretty decent when it came to fares to get around.

The rust on the lamp shades, bed a bit uncomfortable, the large cockroach that came crawling down the TV area as I woke up (scared the be-jesus out of me! Luckily my sister was able to help to take care of the bug issue). The room was a little outdated. The way the lobby was kept up was how we would've preferred the rooms to look as well. Elevator was confusing and slow (i.e. arrows pointing up, but it went down and vice versa).

If you are looking for a cheap hotel go for it but don't expect what you see online.

I liked the outdoor pool and that It was close to the beach.

Inside pool was dirty , most of staff was rude except kadid or kadia I can't remember her name but she was the only one that was nice. I Was charged pet fee even though I was told i was wasnt going to be. first day they charged me 75 dollars extra and last day another 60 dollars. Room was ok but pictures on their website looks like they were taken when hotel first opened. They don't provide room service, if you want towels toilet paper etc you have to go downstairs to reception and they give you attitude if you ask.

My stay was decent and even though the elevators are slow I had a good time.

I loved how close to the beach it was and the view of the beach on their balcony’s. My moms favorite was the hot tub

There is only one weird moving elevators there one going up and one going down . Usually hotels have two elevators, maybe one on each side. But waiting at the elevator to get in and out of when you leave your room is maybe 5-6 minutes sometimes instant depending on what floor you are on.

It was a pleasant stay. We had a very nice time there. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

The outside grounds were very well taken care of, access to the sandy beach was a short walk, the underground parking was secure, the room view of the ocean was awesome, the room including kitchenette (with full size range/oven, and refrigerator and a microwave) and bathroom with newer tub with great water pressure was clean. There was absolute quiet from rooms on each side and room above and below ours.

The room's laminate floors and carpeting in hallway should be updated.

It's not a dislike but the room was a little dated. They run out of towels so maybe bring a few of your own.

Short but quite comfortable.

The view of the beach was an A plus. The ambiance was acceptable. Clean and well maintained. No gathering of people who did not belong to the resort. Only families who came to have a good time. Otherwise quiet.

The elevators were kind of slow a few times or was out of service temporarily.

We had a nice view

The bathroom was very small and there was no shower curtain only a thin cloth liner so water got everywhere during our showers, the front desk staff was not very friendly nor welcoming. There was no wash rags in our room either. For the price we paid for a single night , it did not meet our expectations.

I could not understand the check in person. She was obviously annoyed when I had to ask her to repeat herself. Sorry to her but sometimes a thick accent is hard to understand.
