Terrible and disappointing

The foyer

The room we stayed in was unhygienic. The bed had cockroaches in the headboard and the chair which we only discovered in the middle of the last night we stayed. The chair was worn and broken. It is not fit for purpose.

Personnel agréable et hôtel bien situé pour le métro.

Tout le personnel est à l'écoute et très aimable. Ils règlent les problèmes rapidement. Nous avons eu un problème avec le petit déjeuner compris (booking), cela a été réglé pour le lendemain sans problème.

Le mobilier est vieux et pas pratique, surtout dans la salle de bain. Même en ayant laissé un mot pour avoir 4 serviettes, puisque nous étions 4, nous ne les avons pas eu. La chambre n'a pas été nettoyé pendant la semaine, juste l'aspirateur et pas tous les jours. Nous avions mis un mot pour ne pas déranger l'accueil , mais nous aurions peut être dû passer par eux pour avoir les serviettes. Concernant le restaurant qui travaille avec l'hôtel (petit déjeuner compris), je suis mitigée ! Les employers étaient aimables, par contre la personne qui "avait l'air "d'être le patron ou le chef, n'a jamais été aimable avec nous. Suite à l'erreur pour le petit déjeuner compris, nous avons payer plus de 60 $ pour deux déjeuner adultes, sans nous plaindre, puisqu'il s'agissait d'une erreur de Booking, le lendemain le serveur s'est trompée et a compté un 1 adulte au lieu d'1 enfant, on nous a demande de repayer le petit déjeuner (même pas la différence de prix) , nous n'avons rien dit et payer pour cette erreur. Tous les jours on nous a changé quelque chose sans explications, café à volonté avec un jus de fruit, le lendemain pas de jus de fruit....Pour que notre fils parle, nous lui avons demandé de commander mon jus de fruit que je n'avais pas eu, on lui a répondu de manière pas du tout aimable que seul le café était à volonté. Visiblement il avait un problème avec nous car avec les autres clients il était aimable ! Pour tant nous avons toujours payé et était aimable même à chaque erreur de leur part !!!

God beliggenhed i skønt Brooklyn område

Virkelig god beliggenhed, tæt på flere Subway stationer. Tæt på indkøb, shopping og spise steder. God pris i forhold til hvad du får på Manhattan. Morgenmaden var i deres lille diner, hvor du bestiller fra menukort og dermed får lægger frisklavet morgenmad.

Aircondition på værelset larmede en del, så god ide med noget at putte i ørene, det havde vi så det var ikke noget problem. Børn kan kun vælge morgenmad fra morgenmads kortet og her var pandekager det eneste der reelt var morgenmad, ellers var det pomfitter, burger mm.

Clean sheets clean bathroom. Staff were very welcoming. Lobby area is gorgeous for eating or working

The room had a funny smell but it was clean so we didn’t mind that much. The elevators are way too slow and the gym needed more equipment.

Could have been better

It had great views

My room had a connecting door and I could hear everything the person next door was saying and I imagine that they could hear me. When other people closed their door that were near my room I hear it. When I turned down the tempura the vent sent out air that smells like pee

A great location but cannot get past the dirty carpets.

Location was great, staff was very friendly and efficient. The lobby was beautiful.

The carpet was disgusting, there was a very large hole where the faucet was installed in the bathroom. The furniture looked like it needed to be replaced badly. The hallway outside of the elevator was very narrow.

Everything - Right from check-in to Check-out My card was charged thrice for the room rates and I incurred loss of forex charges. The room was stinking even after cleaning. Washroom smelt bad. Swimming pool was full of chlorine

Roaches

The location was amazing.

The were roaches in the pool and the outlets in the room didn’t work and the customer service didn’t address the issues. Lots of things were broken. And there was no complementary breakfast.

I was not pleased and I’m a frequent guest.

My bathroom was dirty (hair all over the place) it took two hours for the bathroom to be cleaned for it to still have hair, staff entered my room twice without my consent.

Modern and clean

The decoration and how clean and modern the hotel was.

The mattress was super soft and you sink into it however the mattress and pillow are covered in a plastic / polyester material which felt uncomfortable - a bit like sleeping on a leather sofa. I do have sensitive skin though, so this might just be a problem for me.

The location and staff were superb. The room and public spaces were clean as well I would absolutely recommend the hotel to anyone.

A Business Stay Worth the Time and Wait

I did not have breakfast during my stay, but I did find a place close by to purchase a meal. The stay at the hotel was very nice. I had some private time to study and prepare to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), which was scheduled a few days after my stay at the hotel. First timer at hotel.

Lack of the proper number of plugs to make usable the coffee machine, micro and lamp. Had to plug and unplug, move the microwave- a pain in the ass. Chair in the room was a wreck with the vinyl peeling off. Reading light by bed was broken. Picture of outside hotel on website was either old or photoshopped from hell. Elevators are extremely slow. - However, it was centrally located. Would I stay there again? No. There are way too many other better places that are price competitive.

A nice hotel

It was very accessible to Manhattan by subway. 2 stations nearby. The room was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Great night's sleep every night. The lobby was very inviting and a very nice place to sit and relax. Lots of good shops and places to eat near by.Shearon on check out was so informative and helpful. She was so kind to us.

The room is definitely too small for 3 if hanging out there but it was fine for what we required as we only needed it to sleep.

Good location. Comfortable beds

No soundproofing whatsoever. Could hear everything happening in other rooms. Staff would commandeer elevators and hold on floors so often hard to get on one. Staff should have separate elevator to guests. Coffee in rooms was weak.
