Fanore is great, right on the coast with a fantastic view and remote but with a shop and pub very local, which were both great. Walk on a side road to the beach took about 15-20 mins and there were many places we accessed by car on days out too. House was a great size, was in need of some refurbishment downstairs, upstairs has more recently been done I think. The garden was a good size and great off road parking. Hosts were available for any questions and check in and out were smooth.

It did have beautiful scenery and the local beach was so nice and out of the way of people. The local bar was very friendly and the food was good đź‘Ť

Very nice place just a little out of the way. The pub wasn't open that much. No music, food was ok.

Absolutely amazing view from the house. So peaceful and calm.

Lovely place, lovely house. Got very lucky with the weather. If you’re looking for a place with great scenery this is definitely it.

We had a terrific time at the house. It was extremely comfortable for us all. Mary was a fantastic property manager: responsive, professional and pleasant. Having the shop so close and well-appointed was great. Also, we loved the cows. Thanks!

It was such a gorgeous location and the house was spacious and easy to be in for 5-7 people, especially with five bathrooms. We had areas to gather in and also areas to go and be alone. Nice walk to beach in one direction and the pub in another direction. Views out the windows and just sitting on the picnic table were stunning. I’d stay here again for sure.

We stayed in this beautiful home for three days. It allowed us to explore the wild beauty of the Burren, surf in nearby Lahinch, and explore some ruins nearby. We also visited the grave of poet and philosopher John O’Dononohue which was very special indeed. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern and has a spacious kitchen and many bed and bathrooms. It would easily accommodate a large group. The kitchen is sully functional and the living room extremely comfortable. The views are stunning from the large windows and we watched the sun set every night. I simply can’t recommend this property highly enough! We are so happy with our stay. Huge thanks to Mary who met us when we came in and helped us settle up as we left. We would love to return!

We loved our 2 week stay in this home. We had four adults and it worked perfectly with 4 bedrooms all en-suite. The Atlantic Ocean and Beautiful landscape surrounding the house is amazing. We enjoyed evening walks from the house. The owner was great at answering any questions prior to our trip. Mary was a delight, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. We most definitely would stay here again, in fact we hope to book this house again for 2023!

This cozy house worked very well for our family of six adults and four kids. It was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. There’s a small grocery within walking distance as well as a friendly pub. In the winter there isn’t much else, and driving was necessary to get to a larger store and restaurants. But the sound of the crashing waves and the pastoral setting was wonderful and made the location one we really enjoyed. The manager was very responsive to our needs while respecting our privacy. Such a great way to spend Christmas in Ireland with our family!

The property was exactly as described with all of the amenities. However, WIFI would have been a plus.

We had a wonderful week in Fanore with 10 people. House very spacios and comfy. very clean. brilliant for anybody who likes unspoiled nature. Great walks, beaches and cliffs around. Nice pub, but no shops around.

Great location along the Wild Atlantic Way. 25 minute walk to Fanore Beach. 5 minute walk to O’Donaghues pub and restaurant which was ideal for a pint of Guinness and a feed after a days sight seeing. The attractions of Cliffs of Moher, Doolin & Ailwee caves, The Burren National Park are near by with little travel.
The house is clean and spacious, suited family of 8 comfortably. Gardens are ideal for the children to play football and hurling. Had a daily visit from the neighbours friendly Labrador. Amazing views of Galway bay and the Aran Islands.

Beautiful view. Property as described. Mary was very kind and helpful. Loved the Burren.

We enjoyed a week long stay at this fabulous, spacious, well equipped property on Ireland's West Coast. The perfect base from which to explore much of county Clare. The house was a short walk from Fanore beach where our kids enjoyed exploring the rock pools, there is also a shop and pub just a stroll away. There is so much to see close by - The Cliffs Of Moher are a short drive away as are the caves of Doolin. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

We stayed as part of a family tour of Ireland and had a really good time - the house is great - space for cooking, eating, watching TV, family games and nice views and bedrooms. Every night down to the beach and maybe a drink at the local pub on the way back. The Burren, horse and bike riding, trips to the Aran Islands, caves and walking. Relaxing and unspoilt Clare. The Cliffs on a clear and calm day one of the highlights but more than enough to fill a week in Clare from a comfortable and peaceful base. Recommended!
