Lara's apartment is right in the heart of Varenna, and host Lara is so lovely. The apartment is in a beautiful old building but so modern inside. It is light and airy and has lots of windows and natural light. There are beautiful views of the lake. It has a gorgeous balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and our evening wine. The kitchen is very well equipped and very modern. The bed is a sofa bed, but we truly had the best sleeps so far on this trip. We found it very comfy. Do not hesitate to book this gorgeous apartment. You will not be disappointed

Absolutely nothing

The location was amazing. So close to everything and beautiful lake como view. Very clean and compact. Host was very good.

It was a bit noisy but thats hard to change as location makes up for it. Woukd be good to have microwave. Sofa pull out bed a ittle uncomfortable. Pluses outweigh minuses though.

Lara's Home is absolutely superb, from the communication to meeting Lara everything was perfect. The accommodation is in excellent condition provides absolutely stunning views from the main windows across Lake Como. I really couldn't fault anything at all & will Definity return to stay again

the property had everything you could possibly need, it’s so clean, modern and tidy and in the most beautiful location. Lara is friendly, welcoming and always offers her help if needed.

one think we would have liked is a wider selection of channels on the tv, maybe Netflix etc (but that’s not a big factor, as you spend most of your day outdoors)

I would have preferred a proper bed rather than a pull out sofa bed, but its not a deal breaker and my partner had no issue with it

Lara’s home was absolutely perfect - in a great location in Varenna just a short walk away from the main centre, and a 10 min walk to both the ferry terminal and train station so a great base to explore the lake. Air con was great as well which was much needed! The bed is a pull out bed but as others have said it is much comfier than expected which was a pleasant surprise! Lara was also very helpful and communication was great. Would highly recommend.

Location and views are perfect. Lara was wonderful and very helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay again if we visit Varenna.

This is a great place to stay in Varenna - close enough to the train station, restauarants and stores but far enough from the tourist congestion. It is bright, airy and comfortable. The balconey and the views from the windows are great. We appreciated the kitchen stocked with cookware and enough supplies to allow us to cook quick meals when we did not want to eat out. The bed even though it was a pull out couch in the living room was so comfortable. It was easy to open and close. The absence of a formal bedroom was never an issue.

This is a challenge to answer. We really did not have any issues with the rental. The only thing that would have been nice to have would be an Iron.

Lovely little flat and Lara was so nice and attentive! The flat was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It's right in the centre of Varenna so Lake Como is on your doorstep. Highly recommended!

It is impossible to find a better location in Varenna! Lara is an incomparable host and knows Varenna so well :) The food is magnificent (I had tipico pesce tortoloni) and red beer out of the tap. The apt. is very near an intense 45-minute trail walk up to Castello di Lazio; worth the huffing and puffing. Want a quick ferry ride across Lago di Como to the REAL Bellagio? Lara's Home is a 5 minute walk to the ferry IF you don't stop at one of dozens of Artisan storefronts... Good Luck! Hop on, off and around the many villages for a small fee. We sat in silence and watched the sun sparkle off the water from our balcony, letting the fresh, cool autumn air flow through our room each night. A parking garage is 50 metres away as well. On our way home, we planned our next trip to Como, Varenna and Lara's Home... YOU SHOULD TOO! Grazie mille, Lara... Tim & Amy Black

Perfect property. Lara was most helpful and accommodating.

The views are incredible, hostess was very kind and helped with everything we needed. Place is close to restaurants, bars, gardens and square.

Perfect location, super clean, cosy bed, quiet at night, wonderful view, great value, good atmosphere and very friendly and welcoming owner Lara.

We liked everything and felt very comfortable. Maybe a reading lamp at the bed would have been nice.

Cleanliness of the apartment was perfect! Nice extra touch to include two water bottles + a bottle of sparkling wine. The apartment is equipped with everything you need in the bathroom and kitchen.

Wifi signal was weak and was not stable. Toilet seat was not stable and at times it would slide to the side and would make it uneven.
