Had a very nice stay.

It was a comfy and beautiful place to stay for our girls trip. We had 8 people in total for this trip and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked! The back yard was cozy and we had the additional highlight of the same two turkeys greeting us in the morning. We were walking distance from the hot air balloon festival and a quick drive to downtown Galena for the wine festival! Everything was clean, honestly wouldn’t mind booking again for another mini trip!

First time staying at this property, but hopefully not the last. The house itself is lovely, well decorated and well equipped both inside and out. But the landscaping and views are beyond. Even with the hot weekend weather, we were still able to enjoy the outside quite a bit. The stars and setting were just beautiful. Easy short ride to historic downtown Galena (less than 15 minutes). We highly suggest the Downtown Galena Food & Drink Tour with Marissa. Our hostess, Sandy was always quick to reply to any questions we had. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back.

The home is spacious and well furnished to comfortably accommodate my family of seven; truly felt like home. The gardens around the house were so beautiful that we opted to host extended family for cook outs in the evening. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything it promised to be! It's a great location, beautiful view, wonderful floor plan and well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. The clubhouse was a great place to relax by the pool and enjoy the sunshine, can't wait to visit again!

Fabulous family getaway!
We had a great stay at this property! It was clean and so cozy! Felt like you were staying at a friend's home! Everything we needed for our stay was there! The screened in porch and back deck and fire pit were great! Quiet and wonderful location. So many birds to watch including turkeys and turkey babies! So cute! We look forward to staying again! Perfect family getaway
The house is located in a very scenic and quiet area of the Galena territory. Our family enjoyed hanging out together at the house and outside around the fire pit. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking.

Love this place!
This was our second time visiting this house. We had just as much fun as last time. The house is very clean, well stocked, great views of the golf course, great deck and a very convenient location. We enjoyed the fire pit and looking up at the starts. We will definitely return!

Late Fall Getaway
We absolutely loved the location and property. We were lucky with the late fall colors and with how green the golf course was. Overall, a very pretty scene. The golf cart paths were a great place to walk in the evenings. The property met all of our needs.

Galena and Field of Dreams

Girlfriends Getaway
Myself and 4 girlfriends enjoyed a couple of nights at this beautiful property that is partly on a golf course. The grounds were gorgeous with mature trees and beautiful landscape. We enjoyed the patio, the deck and the screened porch. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of space and super well cared for. We plan to come back if Sandra will have us. Sandra, by the way, is a great host and answered all of our extra questions. However, most of the info we needed she has organized and easy to get to.

Friends weekend
We had a fabulous time and this house worked perfectly for our two families. There was more than enough room to all spread out and enjoy our own spaces. Loved all the outdoor spaces as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay for our golf outing of 4
Went on a golf outing - 4 guys total. Perfect stay for our weekend. The property is beautiful and just as described. 2 guys had their own rooms and two of the other guys shared a room (had the 2 queen beds in there). All of the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed having a nightly bonfire out on the downstairs patio every night. Such a great perk.
The communication with the property owner was fantastic as well. She responded to my questions promptly.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to future golf outings here.

This home is perfect for a Family get together. It is spacious, clean, cozy with amazing views. It was quiet and tucked away. We didn't want to leave. My grandson asked me if next time we come and stay here for 1,000 days!

Nice Cottage in Galena Territory
We stayed for a week in this charming cottage with 4 adults and 2 kids (6 and 3). Great location that is a short drive to the owners club, marina and many of the hiking trails. Enjoyed watching the wild turkeys cross the golf course in the back yard. Well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We would come back.

Cozy, brightly-lit space. Could use some serving bowls/platters for when you cook in (we couldn't find any) Also could use some (glass) champagne flutes as there are none on premise. Everything else about this place was stellar.

Very pretty view/property. On golf course & spectacular fall colors. Enjoyed the turkeys walking around yard, very cool!
Not a fan of being responsible of all garbage, however we managed & dropped it off at community drop off. Great pool & well managed. Treated my adult kids, they loved it!
We each had private bed & bath nice set up & plenty of kitchen supplies did not need to bring really anything. Cable so so but internet/phone on spot . Will be back next year if it's available.
