The living and dining areas are large and were comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were kind, helpful and accommodating. They have us some helpful pointers about the boat pass to Venice and the ferry. They were always responsive with the few questions we had. We highly recommend a stay here!

Emanuela’s apartment is a great size, a proper family living space. She and her husband were very welcoming to us on our arrival meeting us off the vaporetto and explaining to us about the strike the next day. Lovely people. The Lido is a great place to get away to in the evenings, away from the huddle and bustle of Venice. The apartment is about 15 mins walk from the centre but the buses are very frequent also. Plenty of restaurants both on the main drag and a number locally also. One word of warning relating to travel while in Venice, if you are getting a three day pass for buses and trains be sure to buy it from the website, don’t get it on your phone from the app as not all boat stops have smart readers and the buses don’t seem to know about them.

Good apartment to rent the owners are very nice and accomodating. It was good to be on the island away from busy centre, get yourself a waterbus ticket for however long you stay and you can get about very easily dont forget to validate your ticket though.

Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie eine wunderbare Woche in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Emanuela De Donà hat uns vom Vaporetto-Anleger auf Lido durch ihre sehr nette und deutschsprachige Freundin abholen lassen und uns den Start in die Ferienwoche dadurch sehr erleichtert! Die Wohnung ist großzügig gestaltet und gemütlich und wird durch Balkone zur sehr ruhigen Straße vorne und zum Kanal hinten sehr bereichert. Der Strand ist vom Balkon aus zu sehen und leicht zu Fuß für schöne Spaziergänge zu erreichen. Zwei Bushaltestellen liegen ganz in der Nähe der Wohnung. Somit sind Ausflüge ohne lange Fußwege per Bus/Vaporetto nach Venedig leicht zu bewältigen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, haben Venedig und Lido ausgiebig genossen und können einen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung von Emanuela De Donà nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

We will return to Lido! We were all over in Italy for 16 days total and the apartment in Lido was one of the highlights of our trip. Lido feels safe, neighborhood is friendly and you are one block away from a very beautiful well kept beach. Emanuela was a great host. Thank you!

I cannot thank Emanuela enough for the use of her lovely home on the Lido. She and her husband met us at the dock nearby. Their patience and kindness were amazing (my father has health complications and the long journey was hard on him, but they were so helpful to us all!) The apartment is perfectly equipped for all your needs. Situated on the Lido just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Venice proper, this positioning is great for visitors who know Venice well, but also for those who don't. It's all just a short boat ride away. Thank you again - I look forward to returning to Casa Felice!

Die Wohnung ist perfekt, hell, sauber, geräumig und alles da, was man braucht. Auch im Winter sehr angenehm, da die Heizung ausgezeichnet funktioniert. Cari Emanuela ed Angelo, grazie di tutto e se Dio lo vuole alla prossima!

Dit appartement aan de Via Candia is ruim, prettig, en uitstekend geoutilleerd. De eigenaren zijn sympathiek en komen afspraken na. De ligging van het appartement, vlakbij zee en op een kwartier lopen van het centrum van Lido, is heel goed. Wij komen er graag nog eens terug.

Die Wohnung ist genau so wie beschrieben: groß, hell und perfekt ausgestattet. Da wir Anfang November da waren, waren wir sehr froh über die perfekt funktionierende Heizung. Die Lage war für uns perfekt: kein Parkplatzprobleme direkt vorm Haus. Die vaporetto Station ist ca 1,5 km entfernt. Für uns (wir hatten unsere Räder dabei) kein Problem. Zu Fuß zieht es sich aber wohl schon ein wenig. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich. Danke Emanuela für den Prosecco zur Begrüßung! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!! Jederzeit gerne wieder

Eine in jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswerte Wohnung mit sonnigem Balkon zum Frühstücken. Über die Busse gut zu erreichen und auch per Fuß 20min von allen Einkaufsgelegenheiten oder dem Bootsableger von Lido entfernt, ca. 1min bis zum Strand, der Balkon hat Meerblick. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Vermieterin und ihr Ehemann, die uns als Gäste nicht nur herzlich begrüßt, in alle Details eingewiesen und alles toll vorbereitet hatten. Sondern großzügig die Wohnung mit allem, was man sich wünscht überlassen haben. Sehr nette, typische italienische Küche, großer Esstisch, gute Betten. Es ist schwer, sich hier nicht gleich heimisch und wohl zu fühlen. Die Wohnung ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man nur brauchen könnte, sehr sauber und gepflegt und wer noch irgendeinen Wunsch oder eine offene Frage hat, kann sich immer an die Vermieter wenden. Absolut vorbildlich! Ein Wort noch zu Lido: über drei Bootslinien ist Lido jederzeit gut erreichbar, zwei von ihnen fahren direkt, eine ist eine Art Touristenlinie. Ebenso gibt es eine Direktverbindung zum Airport im max. 30min-Takt. Lido selbst ist ein unfassbar bezaubernder Ort, von dem man einen tollen Blick auf Venedig hat. Wer den Tagestrubel der Stadt mit unzähligen Attraktionen sucht, ist in 15min mit einem der alle 5min fahrenden Boote mitten drin. On a 3 month adventure, with this as the last stop in Italy, I couldn't have been more impressed and delighted with this stay! Not only did Emanuela and Angelo bend over backwards to get all the logistics just right when a few changes were thrown at us all, but I was greeted with flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and Champagne to celebrate my birthday as I arrived! The accommodation were so charming and comfortable and so much more spacious then what I expected. Everything was immaculately clean and the neighborhood was so safe and quiet... and even though there was construction going on to update the building across the street before the Venice Film Festival in September, we basically took Angelo`s advice and had our 7 day bus basses in hand and ventured out everyday, so it didn't really bother us. (I am hoping I will be able to see the final results somewhere when the festival is in full swing.) And there are too many great things to say about the Lido, the least of which was its calming comfortable fit after a day of exploring! This apartment provided way more than enough room for our family of 4. It was great. We would definitely stay here again. It's a good 20-minute walk to the Lido boat station, but that's the hardest part of getting in and out of Venice from here—the boat system is very reliable and easy to use. You can be in Piazza San Marco ~35-40 minutes after leaving the apartment, or less if you take a taxi. This is a fantastic, affordable place to stay for seeing Venice. There's also a nice beach just down the street, but we never even went there during our stay.
