We loved the place. Attended a wedding in New Farm and loved that everything was in walking distance. The property itself is beautiful with comfy beds and plenty of conveniences. Great communication by the host - we will definitely book again.

Two of us attended the AGM of the Older Women’s Network at New Farm Library and training in the office in Lower Bowen Terrace. The position of the property was ideal. Get a train to Fortitude Valley and then the public bus stops literally at the door. We discovered the New Farm Deli….oh wow…so many delicious things there. We purchased a take home heat and eat meal and had a lovely night catching up. With a bedroom each it was really comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to “stay in”.Birds chirping in the morning and pretty flowers to look at through the kitchen window. Much better than a high rise. Would definitely recommend, wish I could have stayed longer! Thanks for having us especially as it was only one night.

The property was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous outdoor area. We could walk to cafes and restaurants and its only a short walk to the Brisbane river.

This property is immaculately presented in a quiet but centrally located street close to the Brisbane river in New Farm. Spotleslessly clean and renovated to the highest spec. Great communication, very comfortable. The only critisism I have, is that the owners and their family live either side of this property (great if you need anything), but there were several occassions whilst we were there when they came onto the property - blowing leaves under our rental car out front - or on one occassion when our young kids decided to play outside, they came into the backyard and mowed the lawns and blowed leaves, etc. This could have waited until we were out - or done either side of our short stay. Otherwise, a great property.

This property is excellent. It is located in a great inner city neighbourhood and provided everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay in Brisbane. Wonderful to be able to stay in a flat with outdoor spaces which was just like a home away from home. We will be back.

Great location; we had rented a car but walked to restaurants and local shops. Sue helped book our wine tour and gave us good advice on restaurants. Fabulous breakfasts, which we devoured (nothing left over for Bonnie).

Excellent old home with plenty of room and outdoor space in convenient location easy walk to local shops and river boardwalk. Being an old home doors and floors a bit noisy for when infant sleeping but workable.

Great place to stay. Walks, close to restaurants and waterfront. Would stay here again. Place is clean and spacious.

This beautiful property was perfect for a Brisbane wedding. We stayed in the property prior to the wedding and there was plenty of space. The decor is lovely and the kitchen well appointed. A great coffee shop just down the road. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous property We really loved it Construction site next door was extremely noisy If you have more than one car, there is no parking in the evening along the road.

We're just back from an overseas cruise. Before we departed we had an overnight pre-cruise stay at Aotea and it was absolutely perfect. We'd had a long drive into Brisbane and Aotea allowed us to really relax and enjoy our pre-cruise stay. We bbq'd (and also used the very well equipped kitchen) and relaxed in the beautiful outdoor area surrounded by lovely tropical plants then enjoyed a wonderful night's rest on extremely comfortable A1 beds with high quality linens. The next morning we took an easy walk down to the river and enjoyed a stroll on the Riverwalk before having breakfast at a nearby cafe very close to Aotea. It was great having the off-street carspace at the front of the building - we just drove up and could immediately relax in this awesome accommodation. Everything about Aotea is perfect - including the host. Sue communicated quickly and clearly with booking details but also is a delight to meet and have a chat with. We thank you so much Sue. We'll be back for sure - looking forward to our return visit.

Very clean and neat. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very close to great walks, parks and ferry terminal. We would like to come back sometime.

The title says it all. From the moment we opened the front door we felt like we had come home. The property is even more beautiful than the photos depict. Sue and Peter are the perfect hosts - they have thought of everything. The location could not be better. Just a short walk to the insanely gorgeous New Farm River Walk which is a fantastic way to stroll (or jog) into the CBD. Great restaurants and more importantly, coffee shops, right down the street! We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return some day!

Just a quick overnight stay sad to say as the accommodation was superb. Clean and very homely. Comfy beds, close to shops. We left for our early flights feeling refreshed and ready to go. Hassle free which is all you want.

From the check-in to the location, communication with the owner and quality and presentation of the house; everything was fantastic. I couldn't find fault with anything and would more than happily stay at 'Aotea' again on a future trip.

The Aotea is a relaxing and spacious place to stay with everything you could need, well maintained and clean which is greatly appreciated. Walking distance to Coles, cafes, restaurants and river.

Sue was fantastic. She allowed us to check in early due to our flight arrival time. Sue was also available and prompt to answer any questions i had. Would certainly stay again!

Great location and a real home away from home. Very well appointed, comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor seating area with BBQ. Our second visit and we will definitely return.
