Our family has enjoyed this home the last couple years over Thanksgiving. Clean home and fantastic communication from hosts. Great location; super easy to get into Boone/BR. Our dog loves the backyard—and the snow from ASM is an added bonus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised to wake up to snow on Sunday morning ❄️. It was a great home base for the five of us!

This home is an excellent value and it was our second time staying here. It is 7-10 minutes from Boone or Blowing Rock and the accommodations are excellent! We wanted for nothing during our stay and had a fantastic time!

We had a wonderful weekend staying here, the house is exactly as described and was very comfortable for my family. Lindsey was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We absolutely loved our weekend at this home. The location is great for hiking and proximity to wonderful restaurants. The house is very clean and cozy. My favorite part is hearing the whistle of Tweetsie railroad from the deck! Will definitely return!

This was our second stay at Alpine Bliss, and we knew when we booked the stay that it was a good choices for us. We love the Blowing Rock area and booked a full week stay. There are numerous excellent restaurants in the town of Blowing Rock. Since there is a very nice kitchen in this home, we did a combination of dining at some of our favorite restaurants and also getting takeout meals. We had our Yorkie traveling with us so had to include her on some of the meals! We only used a portion of the home as it has a second main level bedroom plus an upstairs with beds, living area, and tv - great for the teenagers! Lindsey and Whalen have recently upgraded the deck with a Trex floored deck. Also, they have re-painted the entire exterior with an attractive tan/gray color finish! A great location and a comfortable vacation home!

We went up for our son's graduation with two families. The house is perfect for multiple ages and families to enjoy each other and yet has two separate spaces. One with a gorgeous mountain view and the other a cozy fireplace for conversation. Fenced yard was a major plus for the pup!

The house was an amazing location for my friends and I to snowboard at Appalachian Ski Mountain. The hosts replied quickly with any random question I had. I highly recommend this property. Plenty of space and I love that I didn't have to board my little chihuahua. Thank you! I'll book again here next season.

This house was just as described, with lots of space for our ski weekend. Our two boys loved the upstairs area found the bed really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas grill was perfect for Valentine’s Day steaks! The master bed was really comfortable as well. The best amenity was walking out the door, across the street and through the gate to ski. Also, Lindsey was very responsive to my questions. We would 100% come back to this rental again.

The house was perfect for two families to share for a wonderful weekend of skiing. The location was PERFECT. So close to the slopes. The house was very clean as well.

The property is well-maintained, in a perfect location and exactly as described! Communications with the owners were prompt as well. We could not have been any happier with the house and will definitely return in the future!

Loved this place! So much room for the family to spread out. Walking onto the slopes from the house was fantastic. Furnishings were lovely and comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay as it was perfect spot to ski Appalachian. We were able to walk back to house midday for a snack and let the dogs out. The house is big and great for our family of 5. The hosts are quick to respond and super helpful. Recommend staying here.

Alpine Bliss was the perfect home for our annual family Thanksgiving trip to Blowing Rock. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- and our pup loved it, too. The home was very clean and hosts provided everything we could possibly need. The snow was an added bonus! Thank you Lindsey & Whalen for sharing your home with us!

3rd time staying here and it’s always great, got to experience the fall foliage this year and you have a breath taking view from the living room and deck. Great house and yard for dogs too!

We were very pleased with the Alpine Bliss, both the home and location. We were looking for a pet friendly place near the town of Blowing Rock,, which offered privacy and scenic views. This turned out to be the perfect place. Ten minutes to the town of Blowing Rock, even less to the Blue Ridge Parkway! We felt quite at home, which was fortunate. It was raining, cloudy, and foggy most of the entire week we were there. As a result, we spent much more time at Alpine Bliss with our Yorkie than originally planned!!

This place was great! Wonderful backyard with a fence for our dog and son to play safely. Great location-easy to get to local, favorite spots. Beautiful views, nice deck to enjoy the views, lots of living space and the loft is a fantastic space for kids.

We stayed at Alpine Bliss for App States parent weekend. The house is located a short drive to campus (and close to Blowing Rock as well) we had a great stay with our son & will definitely be back. All the comforts of home and our dog was able to come with us as well! Thanks so much!
