Outstanding in every way. Beautiful and comfortable.

First of all, this five star boutique hotel was our favorite out of six five star hotels in Kyoto and Tokyo. The staff went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and even arranged couples massages for us. They made our honeymoon trip extra special. Highlights- the room especially bathroom, highlighting amenities inside and outside of the room (free flow coffee/tea in lobby was wonderful). Staff spoke English well. Location was perfect, Walking distance to market with Food Stalls a huge plus. Restaurants and bars across street are all good- make reservations at least day in advance. Chic lobby, quiet hotel.

Flora and Team provided top notched service and were very helpful with the restaurant bookings and prompt with followups. Not forgetting, fantastic location and clean rooms.

It's personal preference. I'm just not a fan of sinking soft beds and pillows. I had neck pain during the stay.

Very well located, very clean and very comfortable. The room is also very spacious.

Breakfast options could be enhanced.

Wonderful aesthetics- stylish luxurious, Japanese flavour with western style comfort. Reception is gorgeous. Small hotel, very easy to come and go. Huge bath to enjoy and lovely complimentary additions such as teas and bath salts etc.

Like most hotels in Japan , no pool and no view but this was expected.

everything was 5 star, clean and very nice room. definitely 5star and the staff were extremely friendly and kind . everything was fantastic. highly recommend. this was beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend and location is perfect. ticked every box. and the staff were very professional and kind. I can’t wait to return.

room a bit small (but hey, it’s Japan). It gets humid in the room. You need to ask the staff to disable the sensor-activated lights at night (they simply put tape in front of the sensors!!

This was the best japanese city hotel we have stayed in over the past 10 plus years.Large rooms,comfortable beds,ryoken style bathrooms ,super friendly and efficicient staff in a central area down a quiet street off main shopping street.Heating system was responsive and cooked breakfasf served in your room without charge makes ot perfect.

the room is big, beds are comfortable, location is just minutes of walking to main streets, lots of good restaurants and shops around, most importantly the staff gives excellent advices and services. overall we had an excellent stay.

- As it’s a low rise building, there’s no view of the surrounding area from the hotel windows

I loved the high, premium quality of the room. The room felt spacious and luxurious. The staff were also amazing, and were helpful during my stay. A special shoutout to the young lady who helped me check-in and find a ramen joint late one night. Thank you for your help during my stay!

The room had little to no ventilation the windows were glazed so you cannot see outside so basically like a cave ..The window that did open was only about 10cm for fresh air...As a frequent traveller I like to be able to watch some English news on the television in the evening this is the first hotel I have ever statyed at where we were unable to access even one English channel...
