Very nice property close to everything we wanted to do. Communication with the host was excellent. Would gladly stay at this home again if in the area.

This location is close to airport and the house is very clean and well equiped. Howevever, the backyard is where we lived the whole time we were their. The pool is great, lots of wildlife to watch, and the screened in patio makes it very comfortable to eat and sit outside no matter what the weather is! Thank you so much for the use of your house!

We had a great stay with Ann. The beds were fantastic. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the pool because the weather was to chilly but sitting on the patio was great!

We had a family get-together for 6 days, starting on Thanksgiving Day. Loved the proximity to the airport....we were there in minutes. Ann and John allowed us early check-in which made it easy for us to get in and settled. We had perfect weather (80's every day) and the pool was the perfect temperature. We avoided eating out for 6 days, as we had everything we needed to make breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen. We spent most of our time outside, either at the pool or in the screened porch. Loved the lake and the wildlife, and watching the waterskiing. The iguanas were cool...they like basking in the sun on the pool concrete, but are peaceful and don't care much if you're swimming. Beds and sheets were amazing. We all said they were better than most expensive hotels we've been to. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone. It's not new...not fancy... but if you're looking for a spacious place for 4 (or more if you use the rollaway bed or pull-out sofa) it's perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood that feels safe. Thanks for a great getaway!

Enjoyed our stay at this home very much. The pool was the perfect temperture, house was just the right size, and shopping, dining, beaches, fishing..all were close by. I would stay again.

We really enjoyed Ann’s quiet oasis by the lake. Everything you need is there from fishing poles to beach chairs to tennis rackets. Lots of towels and comfortable beds and linens. There is washer & dryer to help if you want to pack lighter and redo outfits. Roku tv in living room was so nice. The pool was lots of fun and the lizards who visit the yard daily were so fun to watch. Easy check in and check out and thanks so much to Ann for allowing a flexible check out. That meant so much to us and proves she cares about the people who stay with her and their needs. We highly recommend this stay for you and your family.

This place was our home base to fishing the Everglades. Very convenient to restaurants and anything you would need including fishing the Everglades. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Very comfortable, clean and felt like home. Enjoyed sitting outside by the pool and lake, just relaxing. Neighborhood felt safe and very quiet.

Enjoyed our 2 weeks at the house. We were down for our daughters dissertation at Nova. Had Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family. Everyone enjoyed time out by the pool. It was a good value for the money.

This property is perfect for a family getaway! Our group ranged from 8 years old to 88 years old and everyone loved the house! We stayed for almost 3 weeks and not once did anyone get tired of being at this house. It is extremely spacious and well stocked. My children were in love with the pool and hot tub from the moment they got there and my mom loved being able to fish every evening! My grandmother enjoyed sitting in the enclosed patio all day watching the iguanas and birds. Ann is also such an amazing host, extremely responsive and friendly, the perfect balance of a host who makes sure everything is good without hovering. I 100000% recommend this property, especially for families.

We were able to stay at this lovely house coming from the UK during restrictions courtesy of my wife's US passport. We stayed for a week and we did not want for anything. We were staying in Florida for 3 weeks (one week in this house and two weeks in another rental in Central Florida). I say this because I am giving this property 5 stars and the second rental 4 stars (and the latter rental was more expensive). The house was clean and the photos do not do the house justice. If one was being extremely critical there is some road noise from the intersection but (as the owner pointed out in a previous response in these reviews) this is clearly something you should be aware of from looking at google maps. The intersection is 400 metres away at its closest point (measured on google maps). So it is more of a drone than a loud noise. The area is quiet and the house is extremely clean and well appointed. The pool is large and the backdrop of the lake makes it really feel private. I think the best way to judge a place is how quickly it feels normal to be there. I can say this place felt like home after day one and we were sad to leave. Thanks to Ann for allowing us to stay and for answering any questions we had. I would recommend this place if you happen to read this review. I do not give 5 stars lightly.

I cannot say enough....there was literally nothing that we needed that wasn't available in this home! We only had to buy food and that was it! Very cute little house....two bedrooms with a cot available that we used for our youngest. We really enjoyed watching the wildlife and the skiers on the lake from the pool! Everything was as it is in the pictures! Daily close to everything....not far from the FLL airport. The highway on the other side of the lake wasn't noisy either. Ann thank you for everything! We hope to be back!!

We had a great time. Although we were not on the beach the house pool was a great alternative.

This property had everything we needed and more. Centrally located to shopping and sightseeing. We enjoyed watching the skiers on the lake , swimming in the pool and just sitting in the screened in lanai.

This was a great property and we had a amazing time! The location is perfectly located to everything and some of the most beautiful beaches. We loved the fishing at the lake and the house is equipped with everything we could ever need for a perfect trip!

The view was amazing, the house was neat and clean. Had everything we needed our family had a great time. Definitely going back in the future.

We had a great experience. It was easy and everything was as described. It was clean, pool and hot tub were perfect, we loved the skiers in the background, and it was easy to get to off the highway. Our goal was to find something affordable with a pool and even though it wasn’t the closest to beach it was exactly as described. Definitely worth it!

Nice little getaway in the middle of Fort Lauderdale. Cute house with plenty of room. Comfy beds. A pool and a hot tub! The neighborhood itself was very quiet- you can hear some highway noise from across the lake but not enough to be bothersome.

As a family we loved staying here for our Christmas vacation. It was easy to have family over and lot of room for entertainment. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home is larger than anticipated for a two bedroom, and is stocked with everything from paper products to soap to some extras. Beach and baby items as well. The view is nice and the pool and hot tub are wonderful. The owners are quick to respond to any needs. It's a safe neighborhood with off street parking. I would return and recommend to a friend.

Stay here! You'll love it! It's exactly as pictured, the pool/lake view & sunsets are exactly as shown! Contactless house entry was so easy with flexible check in/check out times! The owners are nearby, friendly and 150% responsive to texts/calls. We so appreciated them! The neighborhood is nice, not fancy, with people walking dogs/kids. You are within 5-15 minute drives of Publix grocery stores, drugstores, shopping/fast food/restaurants. We didn't explore the beaches due to surgery/COVID but it's within 20-30 minute of many gorgeous beaches. Also convenient to the Everglades/Miami. Four of us, 2 adults & 2 teens, were in town for 1 of us to have a surgical procedure in Plantation. We stayed for 12 days. We needed an affordable place to shelter from Covid, relax like we were at home but have some fun too. This little yellow house was every thing we wanted & more! Great parking for at least 2 vehicles, we had 1. The house is clean, has everything we needed for cooking, and pillows/beds were so comfortable! AC works great and so does hot water for showers, etc. Plenty of towels are provided but bring your own wash cloths. We brought our own beach towels for fun but they are not a necessity. Newer washer and dryer are super, I would dry towels and bathing suits each day. We only washed a few loads towards end of visit bc the washer is loud. The wifi is excellent! LR and both bedrooms have tv. The LR and Master have Roku and other good tv stuff, I was too busy reading and relaxing to care so you may want to ask the owners about offerings. The teens were very happy with the tv arrangements and were able to hook up their various gaming systems. We gave the teens the Master bedroom and it was wonderful. It contained all their junk and noise with their own bathroom. My mom and I then relaxed in the rest of the house. All of us LOVED the pool/hottub with view of the lake! There is a gas grill, screened porch, lounge chairs & umbrella.The lake is used for a ski school which provided daily viewing enjoyment. And if you are visiting for the ski school or want to take a lesson the house is so close! We didn't fish but fishing tackle is available. With the ski school there, the lake is kept alligator free. No offense alligators but that's too much wild for me. But the rest of the wildlife kept us so entertained! We personally loved watching the ducks, ibis, herons, geckos, lizards & iguanas of all sizes! Despite highways in site, it was very quiet out back.

We've been traveling to Broward county for work since January. I surely wish we would have found this property in January!! This house felt like home to us. It was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids swam all day in the pool and fished at night on the lake when Daddy got home. We caught a large mouth bass & a new to us, Mayan Cichlid. We saw countless iguanas, which we thought was so cool! The lounge chairs were a perfect spot to sit and watch the kids swim. This is THEE best stocked house we have ever stayed in. We've stayed in several places that barely had the essentials. Ann's house is stocked! The living area was perfect to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie and the beds were cozy for a good nights rest. Super close to turnpike & 595. We will definitely be returning!

My Family had an awesome time at this home. Very clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed for a 9 night stay, with plenty of room for our family of 5. The lake, pool and spa made us feel like we were in our own private resort. We enjoyed fishing and watching the sunsets from the back yard. We hated to leave and hope we can stay here again soon.

Perfect for our family, the house was very comfortable providing space for us to be together and for alone time. Ann, the host was always available, but never bothered us :) ...Hubby and I really enjoyed having outdoor access right from our bedroom, we drank coffee and watch the sun rise, amazing views and everything you need to relax. We will return!

Great place to getaway from it all. Hosts were always available. Place is safe and secured. Close to stores. Backyard is so peaceful!! Highly recommended!!
