Very comfortable apartment with a lovely bed. Huge TV. Good, if small, kitchen. Washing machine. Very close to Takeda station, which was very useful.

It would have been nice to have more crockery and cutlery than just enough for 2. Also cups were tiny, so ideally a couple of mugs would have been nice.

Zen Kyoto Hotel and Apartment made our winter here super comfortable. The room is thoughtfully designed with everything you need for both short and longer stays. The kitchen is well equipped. Heating works well. There's a washing machine - there's no dryer but the bathroom has a dehumidifying clothes drying setting that dries your clothes in a few hours. Better than a dryer as it doesn't shrink your sweaters! The staff is lovely. The building is a short easy walk to the train station. Great value for money. We'd definitely stay again.

There's not much to do within walking distance. You'll always catch the train

Einfaches und sehr sauberes Hotel. Es liegt außerhalb vom Kyoto Zentrum und sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Station ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und man braucht nur 2 Haltestellen zur Kyoto Station.

In der Nähe gibt es nur ein paar Supermärkte und nichts, was man den Tag über machen kann.

烏丸線始発駅の竹田駅が最寄りのため、烏丸線沿線どこへ行くにも座れて便利でした。スーパーや100円ショップも少し歩けばあるため、食材の買い出しにも良かったです。キッチンもあるため、滞在中の食費が浮きました。 急な宿泊人数変更（1人→2人）にも関わらず対応頂きありがたかったです。

洗濯洗剤が２日間２人の宿泊でお試し用サイズで2つ置いていただいてましたが、4つほど（人数分×日数分）置いていたただけたらもっと良かったかと思います。有料でもいいので、売っていただいてもありがたいかと思います。

Good location, although not many amenities around, the station is very close it can you to kyoto station within minutes. The rooms are spacious with good value. the staff are very helpful and friendly!

i remember it was listed in booking.com that the rooms have optional breakfast, but uppon arriving they said it used to be one year ago, and the cafe only serve as a bar. in the rooms i booked is listed to have balconies. but only one room provided with balcony.

Quiet area just a few blocks from a main road and very close to local subway for easy and quick travel into the city. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.
