Beautifully private guesthouse, modern and clean. It was very calm, although the main-road to Kandy downtown is very close. The guesthouse is in a side street and you don’t hear the noice of the main-road. Perfect place to calm down and to relax. Very good and rich breakfast with tee or coffee, toast, many fruits, eggs and some local food. Very nice and comfortable guest-room with a large and clean bathroom and modern shower with hot water. The guesthouse is very clean, modern and well maintained. The owner is very helpful and provides a lot of information about the area.

- Everything! - The room was big, clean, modern, nicely furnished with an AC. We also had a nice balcony. - The bathroom was very clean with a good water pressure. - The breakfast was so good and it was brought to a table right in front of our room. It consisted of an omelette, mango juice, coffee/tea, jam, toasts, butter, yoghurt and nicely decorated fruits. It was all delicious! - The host was amazing, super helpful. He arranged a tuktuk tour for us, with a driver affiliated with the villa - his name is Razak. The tour was amazing, well-priced and the tuktuk driver was also suuuper nice, you can ask for him at the reception, he’ll be glad. The host also advised us to not buy train tickets to Ella in Kandy, but one stop before Kandy, which was actually a very good idea - there were no queues there and we managed to secure tickets + seats in the train quite easily. - I can’t quite understand how this accommodation is so affordable and well priced. It was extremely good value for money and we can only recommend this to everyone. - This was definitely one of our best accommodations in Sri Lanka!

The place was clean to the highest standards. Also staff ia friendly and there were a lot of restaurants nearby. However, I would not recommend this place and I dont understand the high reviews.

There is a beautiful garden, but there is no place to sit outside. Also, breakfast is served inside. They could improve by making more use of their rooftop terrace and garden. For now I think the price/ quality rate wasn’t good, it was overpriced.

Staff was well behaved and warm welcoming... helping my with luggage.. suggesting about good locations ..modes of travel.. Breakfast for hearty...I think more than enough for 2 people.. and relatively cheap.. Room was very clean and arranged.. It's about 1km from both bus station and railway station...

De eigenaar was heel erg behulpzaam en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Het was erg schoon met heerlijke dikke handdoeken. Rustige ligging in een drukke stad en toch dicht bij het centrum. De eigenaar regelde elk moment van de dag dezelfde tuk tuk eigenaar die overal geduldig wachtte om ons terug te brengen.

Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. Perfectly located just 10 mins walk from train station. Lovely welcome from the family. Room was delightful and the house is serene with gorgeous views from the balcony. Sultan and family helped me arrange best way of seeing sights in a day. His lovely and friendly cousin Razak drove me to the Ambuluwawa temple (well worth a visit) and dropped me off at the nearby lake in the centre. Spent afternoon and evening enjoying Kandy centre, dance show and hundreds of food options at the market before making easy walk back to the house. All in all a perfect stay. Had to leave early in the morning but the breakfast being served looked amazing too which I was sad to miss out on (!). Will definitely like to visit for longer next time with friends/family to enjoy the home and Kandy for a longer stay. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Lovely place little outside of center! Tuk tuk 5/10 minutes and cheap! Very nice (basic) room with balcony. Breakfast very nice and fresh. The owner and his family very responsive, friendly and the property very clean! Thank you 🙌💙

我可以给出超五星的评价，可以说非常非常得好。老板夫妇非常不错，因为我晚上需要有热水，喝咖啡喝茶，老板就拿了一个电壶给我。房间的设施非常的干净，而且特别有讲究，设施的搭配也特别特别棒，屋子的外边是一个很漂亮的小院子，也可以坐在外边悠闲的休息。我真的是非常强烈推荐，不管是个人或者是团队，如果来这里的话，真心可以选择这家旅店。我住的房间外面还有一个很棒的小阳台，可以坐在阳台上非常悠闲的看着对面的风景。我住的上面还有一个顶层，也可以把洗好的衣服晾到顶层，整体的房子构架和设计特别棒。这家旅店的地理位置也非常好，往前走10分钟左右就是汽车巴士总站，再往前走10分钟左右就能够到佛牙寺，平时慢慢走就能到，真心非常不错。

整体非常好，没有需要改进。

Super friendly host and family. Very helpful with eveything, even at night. Location is very quiet, even though it is very close to the main road. Balcony is lovely, breakfast is simple but plenty. Would recommend when staying in Kandy

Minor things, like everything getting wet when you have a shower, but this is really not a big issue. Just a great place to stay!

Все очень понравилось. Владелец очень приятный и доброжелательный парень. Помог нам с туром на первый день. Вышло не дорого. Завтраки были по 3$, это не дорого с учетом, что завтраки были потрясающие. Расположение отличное, для поездок советую использовать приложение PickMe.

Comfy and very clean room with a extremely friendly and polite host. We got tea at our arrival and a little lunch box with pancakes for breakfast at departure. Really nice host! The home stay is a 10-15 min walk from the railway station.

I had nice time in Kandy also because I stayed in this accommodation. The owner was the best from all guest houses I had in Sri Lanka. He can help you with everything what you will need. He is very good man with good heart. My single room was like a hotel room with nice and new bathroom. Internet works perfectly so I could work. He also sells water with regular price in the accommodation. He can give you many tips about activities near Kandy. Location of the house is in quiet street but very closed to the main road. If you go to Kandy stay here.

Ein ruhiger, schöner Platz etwas Abseits von all dem Stadttrubel. Sehr saubere Unterkunft und äußerst freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt und würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Selbst die Tour zum Knuckles Range wurde noch am späten Abend für mich organisiert.

Die beste Unterkunft, die ich hatte in Sri Lanka! Zentral aber dennoch ruhig, super netter und hilfreicher Betreiber, großes und sauberes Zimmer mit Zugang zur Terrasse, Adapter an allen Steckdosen!!

Sehr saubere und helle Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilft gerne. Mit seinem Freund, einem Tuktuk-Fahrer, können tolle Ausfahrten zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gemacht werden.

Zur Unterkunft fährt man besser direkt mit dem Tuktuk, es geht durch ein ärmeres Wohnquartier.

I stayed at "Kandy City Village" for one night and it was my best stay in Sri Lanka. Mr Sulthan with the help of his family has maintained this property in a perfect way. Everything was excellent about this property and about my stay as well. I called Sulthan from the stop where AC bus from Dambulla had dropped me and let him talk to a Tuk Tuk driver at the stop. Then I easily reached the property in a few hundred rupees. Later on he recommended a very good restaurant for dinner that was at 15 minutes walk. The food at "Light House Restaurant" was delicious and cheap. Next morning, Sultan asked his friend Razzak to take me to the places of my choice in Kandy on his Tuk Tuk. Razzak is a nice person who took me to the Ambulawawa Tower, the Kandy lake and a few places in market and finally dropped me at the bus stand for Nuwara Eliya. Razzak did all that at a reasonable cost and with maximum cooperation. Thank you Sulthan for all your hospitality and for introducing to a nice person like Razzak.

Nothing about Sulthan and his property. There was only one mishap and that was the heavy rain while I went out for dinner. Despite the rain coat and the umbrella. the water completely wetted my clothes below knee and dirty street water went into my socks and flooded my shoes. That was the most inconvenient time for me in my whole trip. So please avoid going out like this. Better to get some food delivery at the hotel in such condition

Though only having spent one night here, the first impression was very good. My single room was clean, tidy and quiet. The whole place looked well cared for too, plus has enjoyable rooftop views. Breakfast was a tasty abundance and the host was very kind. Although it’s not too far from the busy main road, overall it’s very quiet.

Walking into town takes a good 15 minutes, however it isn’t a pleasant one, as you have to go along that busy main road. Of course a tuktuk is a faster and more pleasant alternative.

Quarto muito simpático com pequeno almoço muito bom! O Sulthan acolheu-nos muito bem e é muito simpático e prestável. Tem um amigo com tuktuk (preços mais elevados que pick me) que inclusive pode fazer tours pelos pontos mais importantes, e que acabamos por aproveitar e correu bastante bem! Recomendamos!

Sulthan und seine Familie sind super gastfreundlich! Wir haben uns in dem sauberen und schönen Zimmer gleich heimisch gefühlt. Es gab sogar einen Abzieher für die Dusche, was in Sri Lanka super rar ist aber das beste was man haben kann. :D Das Frühstück war auch total super. Er hat uns mit unseren Unternehmungen sehr geholfen und einen tollen TukTuk Fahrer organisiert! Restaurants gibt es fußläufig, in die Stadt ist ein TukTuk schon von Vorteil. Ich konnte mir einen Föhn ausleihen und es gab gutes Wlan. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise bislang!! Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen. Danke für alles :)

We stayed here only for one night, but the accomodation was really nice. The host was so kind and the breakfast really good. The accomodation is near to a bus station and 10-15 minutes walking from the railway station. Value for money.

This is definitely the place to stay in Kandy. The owner is a great person, very welcoming and helpful. Super clean room and delicious breakfast. And the location is convenient! Thank you for everything
