Top Mountain hotel is located some 3,5 km outside Poiana Brasov which means it is in the middle of nature, but far away from the ski resort. The rooms are pretty comfy, ours was missing a hairdryer, but we were quickly provided from the reception. The staff was very nice and eager to help.

We were locked outside one night. Apparently we didn't announce that we were coming back late (about half an hour after midnight) and the hotel was locked. We knocked a few times, even tried the neighbours and before leaving to find another place to stay we tried knocking again and finally somebody woke up and opened the door. We got a key next day, but we were almost left in the position to find a new place to stay for that night. Not a great experience. The breakfast is good, but rather on the expensive side for what is offered.

The beds! I felt so sad when we had to get up in the last morning and leave, because the beds were amazing! The sheets, the mattress, their design , just perfect, really! Also, it was so warm, despite of the crazy rates of the heating this year. I appreciate this!

The furniture is a bit old fashioned..

There was no hair dryer in the bathroom, also the quality of shower products could be better.
