Drachenhaus este singura locație în care am ales să fiu cazată, ori de câte ori am ajuns în Brașov. Deci? Un loc minunat, în centrul orașului, camere mari, curate, personal de excepție, mic dejun foarte bun. Ce să-ți mai dorești?

We stayed in the loft, for a pretty high price. Location is great, close to the center, staff was kind, we had our luggage carried through the 55 stairs which we were not expecting. Breakfast is OKish, not best quality, we liked the variety of eggs and the different spreads we were served. the loft is very spacious, rooms inside are really big and airy.

We did not know we had to climb 55 stairs each time we wanted to get into the room. The last ones are really steep and narrow. Though rooms are spacious in the loft, we had only 1 small bathroom to share - only a shower cabin inside, no bath tub and the tiles were broken inside the cabin. Plus the support of the shower was broken too. The floor is made of wood and it squeaks so loud that if you want to go to the bathroom at night everybody hears it. Also, we travelled with children and there were nails in the floor here and there which were not safe for them. When complaining about it, though, we got some room slippers from the reception. Another discomfort was that one heater was always hot, although outside it was pretty warm too, which made it fel too warm to sleep - we tried to turn it down, asking for a tool from reception, but it did not work, it still had heating on. Overall, for the price we paid, we would have expected more.

The location is great and very close to a lot of attractions. Finding parking might be difficult, but not impossible, if you have patience. Very clean rooms and a very good breakfast buffet. We will definitely choose it again for our next trip in Brașov.

it was extremely poorly sound proofed. the walls were shaking when the cleaning ladies walked by the room. of course it’s an old house but it was very tiring! parking situation was rough, there are plenty public parking spots right outside of the hotel but they are always occupied by the inhabitants. you’ll need patience!

Service at the reception is truly exceptional thanks to girl name Chamonile. Very helpful with perfect english (with Canadian accent ;). The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was also good. Location is just perfect with some parking spaces outside (if you’re lucky;)

Very nice place, walking distance to Piata Sfatului (4 min). If you want to feel like in a fairytale this is the place :) The room is large and the place is wright where everyting happens. I recommend it!
