It's been an amazing experience staying at Dee's place. Dee has been very welcoming and explained in person all the features of the house and suggested places to visit and book. Kids enjoyed very much at the pool. Place is very neat and tidy. We are lucky to get the place in short notice due to covid cancellations. Thanks once again Dee for hosting us.

The place was lovely and really well looked after. When we’ve been going through the randomness of lockdowns keeping us in or out of our states, Dee was very accommodating to help take the risk out of a booking that no one genuinely knew we could make.

This was to be an annual get together of 3 siblings (70s) and their spouses. What with Covid lockdowns, postponement of holiday, health problems ... the owner accommodated each situation as it arose. The whole accommodation and experience exceeded our expectations.

We would like to say thanks Dee and Patrick for a wonderful experience that we have just enjoyed. Once we walked in the door all of our expectations were exceeded, and not by just a little bit, a lot!! The pool, the location, the hosts, the weather, the suburb we cant thank you guys enough, we really did enjoy our stay. Everything we needed was available and nothing was ever a problem. Dee even helped recommending additional site visits when we told her where we were going for the day. A great assist to help us enjoy our time even better. Thank you so much!! Our family enjoyed a very comfortable extended stay at this amazing home. This property is in the perfect location in Cairns to easily drive to the tourist area(less than 10 minutes) and is a great launchpad to explore the north Queensland area. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dee, the friendly and knowledgeable owner. While we were not exploring, we enjoyed the amazing home with fabulous indoor/outdoor living with a pool. There was nothing better than enjoying a great dinner or breakfast in the quiet paradise Dee and Patrick have created. If you have a family skip the hotel and stay here, you will be sorry if you don't!!

Dee and Patrick have considered every need of their guests in their beautiful, well appointed home in Cairns. Our family of 5 could not have asked for anything more during our stay! The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and the pool is outstanding! We were so happy in the home we chose to abandon sightseeing and just enjoy our surroundings. Dee and Patrick are incredibly gracious and go to great lengths to ensure their guests have everything they need every moment of their stay. If we could offer more than 5 stars, we would! Tropic Vues is exceptional in every way!

This property was amazing. Dee was very helpful with our booking and Patrick welcomed us. Lots of room for four adults and two toddlers. Very well appointed and spotless. The large patio and pool were an added bonus. Thanks so much for letting us share your piece of paradise.

Two friends and myself stayed at Tropic Vues for a 3 night stay. We were welcomed by the owner Patrick on our arrival. He ran us through the house and also told us a few places that do a good meal. The place it's self was home away from home. It has everything you need and more. It was clean and modern. The photos do not do this place any justice it's a wonderful place to kick back and relax! Will be staying again.

We stayed 3 nights at the TropicVues and we really had a great time in this property. Dee is very welcoming and made us feel at home since we arrived. I was travelling with all my family (6 adults) and 2 months old infant Dee was very kind to organise an early check in for us. Also it was very helpful that she explained all the facilities of the property + a few tours that we could do in Cairns. The swimming pool is a bonus: it's very relaxing having a swim after a full day tour or after dinner. We would definitely book again this place if we decide to go again to Cairns. The property was lovely and the pool beautiful. our first night there was peaceful and very comfortable beds. After that the rental apartment in the first floor of the house was occupied and the lack of soundproofing meant you could hear them all night long walking around. They did not seem to sleep so we were unsure if it was particularly hot up there..

Great property, very comfortable and relaxing. Everything is as per photos - modern, nice & clean and functions well with lots of little extra's to make your stay perfect. Plenty of space indoors as well as out. Dee & Patrick were very welcoming, answering lots of questions and providing local information for our holiday. Superb location close to the city & esplanade (easy 15 min walk) but far enough away to be quiet & relaxing in a homely neighbourhood. Would stay again and highly recommend. Thanks
