Our extended family had a great time together at this wonderful, casual beach house. We loved being steps from the ocean, just down a path and up and over a wood walkway ramp. We enjoyed many afternoons and evenings up on the second level deck overlooking the phenomenal view. The house was fully stocked and comfortable. Only thing I wish we had was access to the laundry.

We had a great trip! The location on the island allowed us to snorkel, explore and see all the parts of the island we wanted to. The house was as expected, easy to get in and out of, and provided a great experience for our family!

After reading reviews of where not to go in PR, I was getting hesitant about the vacation. This place felt safe. It was clean and close to the beach... even though it's not a swimming beach, unless you walk way down the beach (not to far). Rented entire house. Love the two levels. Will rent again next year.

The Lone Palm is a great place for a large family vacation. We rented both units and it accommodate all of us, 8 adults, with plenty of room and beds to spare. The house is steps away from the beach and is nestled on a very quite and private street which allowed for great star gazing and wildlife viewing. The area has many delicious restaurants and is minutes away from the BQN Aguadilla airport. Beware car rental companies in this airport are not very reliable. The beach is great for surfing and snorkeling but not ideal for swimming as there is a lot of urchins and coral. The only negative was the lack of smoke detectors throughout home. The house does have WiFi and good cell service even though it’s listed as no WiFi and 3G service. LJ was a great host and was readily available to offer any assistance and recommendations. Hola Lola’s is within walking distance and has good drink, food and good vibes. All in all a great vacation spot!!

We rented this location as a group of 10. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was perfect for us. Isabela had plenty of nearby places to visit and is a perfect distance from many places for day trips and exploration. We had a mix of first timers and repeat visitors to PR so we spent a lot of time exploring, but the upper apartment deck was a great place for spending the morning with coffee and breakfast due to the amazing views. The guest hosts were very responsive to questions and had great suggestions for places to check out nearby as locals of the area. Each bedroom has great AC and the available WiFi and smart TVs worked well in our limited usage of them. We spent most of our time in the Upper Palm as it was a bit nicer and brighter and closer to the beautiful view. Being so close to the beach was great as well and the views are just as beautiful as the pictures show!

The house was perfect for 3 families. A very short walk to the beach and 2 very good restaurants in the neighborhood. The snorkeling was phenomenal at the beach by the house. We really enjoyed the breeze at night while enjoying ocean views from the upstairs outdoor living area. Some in the group did complain about the wind while on the beach as the sand would blow constantly. However if you walk 10 minutes around the corner it is protected and there are beaches nearby like Borinquen and Crashboat beach that were not as windy. All in all a great spot and the property manager was excellent. He provided great information and was very responsive via text to our questions we had about the local area.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lone Palm. The property owner was always quick to respond to inquiries and the property manager was extremely helpful from the time we arrived to the time we left. We opted to rent the entire house and both units are very nice. The upstairs unit (2 BR) has a great view of the adjacent land and ocean. The house and property are well maintained and clean and most of all the beach near the house is great for snorkeling. Bonus - Ola Lola's Tiki Bar was fantastic and only a short walk away. The food and service there were great. We learned the owner of Ola Lola's stayed at The Lone Palm on her first trip to PR. I guess that just goes to show the attraction of this property (and the island)!

They had a repair person come out to fix it multiple times though. Also the oven and microwave were not working in the upper level.The property manager was extremely helpful and kind.

Great view, perfect location! Enough space for a group of 12, well equiped and very clean. In love with the place!

We were a group of 10 adults and a baby and the house suited us very well. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs, and the upper deck was perfect for relaxing and eating. The 100 steps to the beach was accurate to a T, as I personally tested out (really 102 steps for me but I’m rather short). The house was clean and airy. Our host was responsive and attentive, helping us out with surfing lessons, yoga mats, and recommendations for excursions. Our brand new fridge had unfortunately stopped working, a repair person was sent right out, and we didn’t miss a step. About the beach, the water was warm, our group enjoyed the snorkeling, and we almost had the whole beach to ourselves. If you are looking for a placid beach though, this (or almost anywhere on this side of PR) may not be for you. The Aguadilla airport is 15 minutes away, Jobos Beach is about 2 miles, and there is a beach shack up the road that was well-liked. I would recommend the house!

Host LJ made all the difference in our stay. Giving us the low down on food and restaurants, beaches, and other adventures. Arepas food truck, Palma’s - 2 for $20 and So much more made the food experience wonderful. We rented both levels for 10 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. 2nd floor balcony sunrise was a highlight!! Kids enjoyed just hanging out at the house after long days at the beach. Thanks for the great stay!! We plan to be back.

Perfect vacation spot for 2 families. Everything was as described and more. Greg went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, including hooking up a generator during a brief power outage. Almost wish we didn’t have to leave 5 stars so this place doesn’t book up again next year!

A beautiful setting for our family reunion!

We celebrated my parent's 50th anniversary here and there was plenty of room for everyone - 12 people - with close access to the beach.

This was an awesome spot! We stayed 5 nights and rented the entire house. The place was extremely clean. Steps to the beach and the best snorkeling my family has experienced. The up stairs balcony was the spot for us. Puerto Rico weather can be brutally muggy and hot. But the breeze on the balcony was constant. It felt so good that we spent TOO MUCH time at the house. Property is well kept and maintained!! This is the cleanest vrbo we have stayed in!!

We spent 9 days at the Lone Palm and it was perfect! The solitude of the house and the beach was everything we’d hoped for. The location was also great for the many excursions we did while in PR. Eileen and Greg very helpful and responsive. All in all it was a great vacation and we hope to be back soon.

Nice house, wild & windy surround, rocky beach. Extremely helpful guest host.

We loved it. Close to the beach, people were friendly (neighbors). Beach and other towels available, beach chairs. All we had to do was to bring a swimsuit and some food. Terry the caretaker was very helpful in directions to different beaches ECT. We will be back

We had a great week staying on the second floor at The Lone Palm. Owner and manager were full of good advice and very pleasant. Beds were very comfortable and we loved sleeping and waking to the sound of crashing waves. Sitting on the deck overlooking the green field with a beautiful breeze and view of the ocean was our idea of heaven. One of the most relaxing vacations we have had. Isabela has the the option of doing nothing but beaching it or doing side trips. We loved it.

The experience provided by the Lone Palm was truly amazing. The owners along with their local property overseer Danny made everything very easy and convenient. We very much enjoyed having morning coffee on the huge deck along with evening drinks after the sun set listening to the waves in the background. During the day the house is conveniently located to many activities including surf spots, local restaurants, fish markets, and scenic hikes to waterfalls. Our group of 6 all had nothing but good things to say and we all wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

The Lone Palm was a pleasant surprise in our travels this year. The owners and the caretaker of the property were eager to help us in any way, provided everything we requested and then some and were extremely hospitable. The apartment was well maintained and comfortable and the location was a nice combination of private but centralized. Beaches, surfing, horseback riding, dining and much more. We plan on returning and thank everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

Girls getaway was fabulous! There were 3 of us. My highlights were sitting in a chair on the beach (seriously paces from the house) with a book and the horseback riding. It is very well maintainedand clean with a quiet relaxed atmosphere. The house host was attentive and checked in with us daily via text messaging to make sure we were set and encouraged us to ask any questions... And we did! We did not have many questions though because the owners were so informative before we even got there. I can't wait until I return to Palm. It's a "no worries" kind of place :) Just to let you all know, I did not get the slightest impression that the December party expressed.

We spent Christmas with our extended family ages 6 to 69. Everyone had a great time. The house is clean and well equipped. The location is great. The beach out front is beautiful and quiet. The house is very close to lots of activities. The house is on a quiet street but has easy access to other activities. We surfed each day at surfers beach, visited Rio Camuy, San Sebastián Waterfall, and visited Crashboats beach. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. We recommend this property for family vacations.

My children and I arrived at 3am and woke up to the prettiest, well stocked house with the sun shining in every window. We took the short stroll to the beach and were amazed by the aqua water, white beaches and almost complete privacy. The snorkeling was beautiful, my kids were able to go out on their own and I was able to completely kick back and relax. We ate breakfast and lunch at the house most days as it was like being home with a large, fully functioning kitchen. On the hotter evenings we used the A/C in the bedrooms which was a plus. Overall it was one of our best holidays and I would definitely go back but only if this house was available!!!

Private, relaxing, perfection Our small extended family stayed at the house, renting both the upstairs and downstairs. It was the most low key, perfect vacation I have ever had. This house is wonderful, it had everything we needed plus the luxury of "Danny" who was like our concierge. He had every answer we needed, a wealth of information on the local area. We are accustomed to renting vacation homes where the keys are mailed to us, or left in a lock box......not this house, this is 5 star service. Place was very nice quality, clean and PERFECTLY located....end of a narrow private dead end street, on the beach. Definitely bring snorkel gear the reef is amazing! We will be back and can't wait to bring friends 

We rented both the top and bottom levels of the home for 6 days. Our guests did enjoy the closeness of the beach and the afternoon winds were sometimes overpowering but felt good after spending the day with no airconditioning!! I'm not one to complain but i feel everyone who rents this home should be aware that there is NO PRIVACY (as the house hostess) showed up 4 days out of the 6, and let himself into one of the locked units to shut off a ac unit (not knowing if someone was in the shower or sleeping). You may not use the ac during the day when its the hottest but you may open windows. Also the home owner does not have to abide by the contract she sets forth but you do!! So carefull on any agreements you make with her as your signed agreement means nothing. After spending a great deal of money to rent this home, we also paid an event fee to have our wedding on the beach and the reception outside the home. We were told there was no charge for 1-25 guests but 26-50 would pay the fee. We had 16 people show up for the wedding...... i would say we would be refunded the fee but we were not, as you also have to count the 14 people who have ALREADY PAID to be in the house as guests also (really??)Therefore we had 30 total. When i emailed the homeowner about the refund, she did not answer back and still has not to this day. I was not totally dissatisfied with the home itself, as it is lovely but a little on the not so clean side. Having paid a good deal of money in a week i did not expect the shower curtain to be mildewed or the shower rods to be so grossly rusted. The appliances in the upper kitchen were stainless steel, so with the ocean winds carring throughout the home, they were also grossly rusted. I also changed out a pillow case and found blood stains on the pillow itself. With the amount of money spent i expect these things could be changed out between tentants. The home itself is located next to an open field, so it was no shock when a mouse ran around in the lower unit. Also it is Puerto Rico.... so we did have huge cockroaches outside the home (only one was seen inside). And if you wanna see some cool sightings at night, watch for the bats, they fly just overhead in the trees. We will not be returning....lesson learned!!
