Our family loves staying at Schumacher’s and will continue to visit as often as we can!

Everything was very nice from the cabin, to the property, to the location. Had a lot of fun and met some fun people along the way! Would definitely stay again!

The pictures, while nice, don’t give this property justice. The place is amazing. Beautiful surroundings with a creek snaking through woods. It’s very private. There are neighbors, but the lots there are ~2+ acres so you don’t see or hear anything except birds chirping. The house is a hit. Layout is great, bedrooms are spread out and there’s a large loft with bunkbeds to keep kids corralled at bed time. The only thing we regret is not staying longer. We definitely will return.

This home is just what we were looking for as a get away and family Christmas! The home was just the right size that the whole family could stay in one place but still have room, I have stayed at many places but this was truly the best, cleanliness, dishes, towels, and so many stocked things in case you forgot! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We will be back for sure.

Our family has spent many vacations at Schumacher’s and always enjoy their place. The outdoor space, especially the fire pit, is wonderful and the cabin has all the comforts of home. We will be back!

We had an amazing weekend. Even tho it rained we made the best of and played games. The place was peaceful but had lots to do. We went 4 wheeling canoeing had a bonfire played games and enjoyed our family time.

Always a good time in the north woods.

Be forewarned this place is truly in the middle of nowhere which was nice for privacy but all of the restaurants but one were at least 15 minutes away. We had a really great stay. It was myself, my husband, my sister and her husband. The layout was nice with three levels of accommodations. The upper level was beautiful with two king bedrooms and other beds but since there is no bathroom on that level, we were unable to use those bedrooms to sleep in. The main level had one king bedroom, living room, kitchen and a full bath. The lower level had one king bedroom with other beds in the common area. That level also had a full bath so it worked out well. The lower level also had furnishings, a flat screen tv, a nice picnic type table and a refrigerator. The lower level carpet was in bad shape with stains everywhere. I'm not sure if it could be steamcleaned or removed and replaced. The deck was gorgeous, the firepit area was very nice as well. The river level next to the property was very low so we were unable to fish from there and we were worried about the canoes getting stuck. All in all though it was a very relaxing stay with family. We would stay there again.

So many beds, so much space and very secluded. Shops that have everything you need about 15 mins away. Would stay here again!

Great property for a large family. I loved the wrap around porch. Quiet and picturesque. Tons of canoes and kayaks for everyone to use. we will be back!

The pictures online do not do this cabin justice. Great property and location. Welcoming atmosphere! Lot of room. Beds and living area furniture were comfortable. Climate control was excellent. Fire pit area is ideal location for great views and family time. You may see a few deer. Great walkout and easy access to canoe and kayaks. Short stretch 10 minute to paddle to Lake Lily. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware. Very private location. We will be back next summer. Great communication with owners. Quick to respond.

Pictures do not do this property justice! Beautiful place tucked away in the woods! The house is stunning and roomy with lots of games and beautiful deck and outdoor fire pit area. The children loved wading in the river off the dock catching cray fish and splashing with the dogs. Crystal clear water! Our family retreat was a great success here!

When we stayed here it's reminded us of homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream on top. If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the city life then you'll enjoy this rustic cabin like we did.

Thank you for letting your home to us David! Your peppery was beautiful, the amenities are above and beyond what was anticipated and the getaway was just what we needed as a family. The kids left asking when we can go back, which is more than indicative of a great time being had!

The home and the Schumacher's are amazing. We used the home for a snowmobile trip and it exceeded all expectations!!!

This is our grouse hunting groups 32nd year of meeting up in Northern Wisconsin and our third stay at the Schumacher Cabin. With out a doubt this is one of our favorites. The Schumacher’s are wonderful hosts and the property is beautiful.

We went to this property around the same time last year and it was just as amazing this time! So much fun. We hit the lake in the kayaks, had some fires, played some tabletop games. Top notch, baleautiful location, very recommended!

Had a great time. Looking forward to going back next year.

Fantastic property

This was a very beautiful and well kept place to get away for the weekend. My family and I had a great time making memories and enjoying the peace and quite of the outdoors. I would highly recommend this cabin to any family.
