Awesome property with great views

Location location location !!! Perfect place for family to get away from a busy Auckland lifestyle. Every room and space was greatly appreciated and admired. A few minor problems with power plugs, lights, but that didn’t stop our family from having a great time enjoying the kitchen where a family comes closer together around great food and laughs. Highly recommend this location.

A great place for our family to stay

Easy to find our destination, impressive on first view. Property large, open with excellent views from living areas. Plenty of beds for all, we were a group of 8 and fitted in well. Suggestions for small but meaningful improvements would be to regularly check the status of light bulbs and power points. Of the 12 lights in the living area upstairs, only 3 worked making life a bit dark & dingy in the evenings. Some of the girls had problems with non functioning reading lights in their bedrooms as well as some of the power points, making it tricky finding enough to charge all phones, readers, watches etc. Also a distinct lack of comfy seating in living areas, couches catered for only 5 people so 3 had to squeeze in on dining chairs. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay and were happy with the house.

Lovely property. There were quiet a few light bulbs that didn't seem to work. For the price I would think that linen would be included, that was disappointing 15$ extra per person seems excessive.

Awesome place to stay, heaps of room for our two families. The only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was lack of seating in lounge - 5 seats only all up. For a house that sleeps up to 10, another lounge suite would be a great addition, and plenty of room for it. Or 2 or 3 bean bags. Otherwise perfect place.

Great house and location. Only marked down the cleanliness due to the overall cleaning standards. Just a bit off u der couches , touch points doors and walls. But understand only the brief cleans between users. Handy location to head either north or south for the tourist activities. With some younger guests you worry about what they could damage but nothing here to give a concern. Only other point for improvement would be the heating. Upstairs with fireplace was lovely. 2 of the downstairs rooms had oil fin heaters to keep warm but two didn’t. That would be a good addition.

Excellent, great house totally recommend

Plenty of space to spread out with friends. A little chilly when we arrived and needed all the heaters on to warm up the house. Definitely booking for next stay!

Was perfect for our trip to the region for mountain biking, home was perfect for two families and was clean and tidy, everyone really enjoyed staying there. It was very quiet and yet surprisingly close to town too. Thanks for hosting us.

Great house for 2 families and well equipped kitchen

Very tidy property, close to everything

Awesome property in stunning location. Could do with a good clean though with cobwebs in the rooms etc. Additionally, a lockbox would be helpful so as not to carry the key and make check-in easier. Lastly, need to relook at kitchen equipment. We purchased a frying pan for the unit (we left it there!). Would defiantly stay here again in the future.

Spacious property for 2 families to spread out enough. The gas fire heated up the upstairs living beautifully, downstairs stayed a bit on the chilly side with just oil heaters. But we loved our stay and recommended this house to all.

Fantastic property with plenty of space and beds for 8 ladies. We all would stay again. Great views, close enough to town and plenty of hot water! What more could you ask for. All are keen for next years trip. Thanks very much
