Quarto e banheiro novo, aconchegante, limpo e bem decorado. Todo hotel é uma graça! O café da manhã muito gostoso e o atendimento excelente. Todos os quartos tem vista para os vinhedos.

A sensação de estar em uma vinicula é ótima. O lugar é muito lindo e os funcionários muito cordiais. O tour de degustação foi muito legal também. Valeu a pena cada minuto.

The location is great, as is the food and the quality/price relation. the rooms have very nice views and it is really quiet and peaceful,

when we arrived the room was taken by hundreds of mosquitoes. We had to fumigate the whole room and the bathroom, step outside for 30 minutes and do it again. Followed by two hours killing them with a towel. At the end the bed, the shower and the whole room floor were a mosquito graveyard. Even though they gave us the anti mosquito spray, they left the premises and no one came to clean up, or even ask if we managed to control the plague, which we did, but couldn´t walk bare foot in the room during our stay. The place is lovely and, if it hadn´t been for that, would have been exceptional. One can undertand a mosquito plague in a vineyard, but they should have solved the problem before our arrival and leave the room clean and mosquito free for us.

There aren’t enough superlatives for this place, so I’ll simply recite the names I know: Oskar, Gisselle, Joaquin, Wilson, Lucio, Carlos … thanks to all of you for a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

The staff were amazing, the room was comfortable and the evening meal was excellent, the chef excelled. Our vineyard guide was extremely knowledgeable and the wine was superb, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The location is a bit remote but the whole reason for staying there was for the wine, we stayed at harvest time and made the most of it!

we enjoyed being able to stay at a Bodega without having to drive. The renovated family home was beautiful and very comfortable! We had the best tour with the clearest explanation of the wine making process that we have ever had anywhere. The Pizzorno Family and staff are very kind , friendly and helpful, anticipating anything we might need! Lunch and dinners are excellent!

Wow! This is quite the operation and was an exceptional experience. You can feel the passion and care as soon as you arrive. The whole staff works together to make for such a seamless visit. Upon arrival, Oscar greeted us and we had a delicious lunch with a bottle of their petit Verdot - we took a few of those home, it was out of this world. Then went on a wine tour with the incredibly knowledgeable Lucio. We’ve toured many wineries, but I learned so much from him on this tour. We learned how they make sparkling wine - incredible, as well as some of the Uruguay wine rules and regulations. We stayed the night in one of their well appointed rooms. This meant dinner with “grandpa.” That was a great experience as well, and we were so full of delicious pizzas after we slept great. We woke up to a wonderful breakfast, grabbed 6 or 7 bottles and went on our way. Everything was perfectly orchestrated. We also found out they distribute in Washington DC, close to where we live at a well respected wine shop. Once we get through all the bottles we bought, we will absolutely be visiting Grand Cata for more.

little hard too find, missed the road leading to it, good landmark would be the gas station, thankfully it was still daylight
