Relaxing stay at a cabin that had adequate space for family

We have stayed at so many properties over the past 6-7 years in Eagle River and this house was just amazing! It was super clean when we came in, the bedding was as new, and there were enough towels for our group of people! We stayed with super small kids and the temperature in the house was perfect for the little crawlers! The view of the lake was also just great! The sunsets were unbelievable! Our kids got to play in the snow and played on the swings during the day and they had so much fun! All the adults had fun snowmobiling for 3 days straight! It was the best experience! Thank you for the stay!!!

This was a nice house to stay for families. There is a nice yard for kids to play or to gather when the weather is nice. The amenities inside were very basic. I would recommend to bring extra toilet paper, extra garbage bags, and sat and pepper. There are three levels with 2 bedrooms on each level and a bathroom on each level but only 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and when staying 4 days with a large group it was getting a bit short on the last day. The bedrooms have plenty of beds and space in them to feel cozy and sleep multiple people. The dock was great and able to easily hold our pontoon and fishing boat for our time with room to spare for at least 2 more boats. Overall nice place, lots of space for sleeping and clean.

Absolutely loved our stay at Island View II. Cabin was clean and spacious. Property management was very attentive. Location was great. Will definitely stay again!

House was perfect for snowmobiles which we brought along 6 it was more than enough parking (4x4) is a must in the winter definetly making it a yearly family trip see you next.

Wonderful place that sleeps a ton of people very comfortably. Great location and nice amenities. We'll have to come back in the summer! Thanks for a great stay!

The rental is very nice. Clean and comfortable for a fairly large group. We did have trouble with the oven getting to the temperature we needed. Unable to get to 425. Also we were all wine drinkers and no wine glasses🤨. We were a bit disappointed that no fire wood on the premises, yes we did read that we could buy in town, but it was pretty windy in the afternoon, when we would have purchased. Then around 7pm it calmed right down and we would have enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Understood, but maybe you could have some outside to purchase. Just a thought. Over all we loved it and will consider staying again if we need a place this large. Thank you Brenda Dandeneau

We loved the property location. The flat long yard was great and allowed for lawn games. The lake was relatively calm and quiet. The beach was sandy and the pier was great/solid for a pontoon boat and jet ski we rented (separately from third party). The balcony & entire property faces west and was great for sunsets, eating meals outside, enjoying the outdoors and camp fires next to the lake. We had plenty of space for 14 of us. Several things need addressing however; 1. the playset had a frayed donut swing rope. One of the kids swung on it and the rope broke causing our daughter to fall. The rope was clearly frayed and should have been replaced long ago. We called Vacasa to inform them about this (they answered immediately) and I requested a call back or email from the owner but never got one. Thankfully our daughter only had a headache, sore arm and no serious injuries. 2. The HVAC isn't working right. The main floor and upstairs were comfortable but the basement was absolutely freezing. We tried everything with the thermostats. 3. The basement refrigerator froze some of our food (veggies). I suppose we could have looked at the setting before we put food in it to reduce the temperature but didn't realize this until too late. 4. one of the basement bedroom electrical outlets was fried. We did not know this until it ruined an iPad charger and cord. Thankfully it didn't ruin the iPad. 5. The coffee maker is terrible. Took over 2 hours to brew coffee and much of the water didn't actually brew since it evaporated during the coffee making process. We actually tried to descale it after the 3rd day but that didn't work. None of these maintenance items significantly changed our experience, which was overall great.

The view of this vacation house is just amazing. The reflection of the sun …sunrise, during the day & sunset is just priceless and spectacular! There are plenty of rooms for a large group. The down side is just the temperature of the house in the living room and kitchen are just warm and hot and in the basement is just super cold. In the bedrooms the temperature is just right. We did not catch any fish. But we had a great time with the paddle boat. When we were hiking, a resident in the area stopped us bcoz she found beats lurking in the neighborhood few days ago. So we were unable to hike. But still we enjoyed our weekend getaway. You will enjoy more if you have a motor boat and do water skiing ⛷. It was just a fun weekend we had. The positive side …if you have questions and complaints about the house, they will attend to your needs right away. Thank you so much.

Enjoyed some grilled fish and s’more on the fire pit mean while enjoying a little splash on the beach even though it was still a bit cold. Over all enjoyed every bits of our time there!

This property had everything we wanted! Pleasant and accommodating common areas, plenty of spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, and expansive deck with a gorgeous view. We also loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs in the shade right by the shore while the kids ran back and forth between playing in the little sandy area, splashing in the water, and swinging and sliding on the jungle gym. And the icing on the cake was having the canoe! The lake and island were both so beautiful to explore, complete with up-close sightings of bald eagles, loons, and otters! We had a spectacular week.
