The property is set on a large lot of lush, green land with beautiful views of the yard and large, overarching trees. The large, bay window lets in a lot of natural sunlight which is perfect to wake up to and to enjoy the evening views. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water available for our showers. The room also had a handy kettle for our morning coffee/tea and a mini fridge to store some of our groceries. The main kitchen and living space was perfect for doing some work, relaxing, and preparing meals. Our girls also loved playing with the treehouse located in the yard. Although the Wi-Fi in the room wasn't great, it was enough to do some light surfing and we could use the kitchen/living room for a stronger connection. The location was excellent - close to town and the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve - and within walking distance to a small grocery store and several restaurants and cafes. And the hosts were excellent! So kind and took the time to chat with us and make us feel really welcome. Thank you especially to Gabriel! Great to meet you :)

Loved the space, the hosts were SO accommodating and friendly. The grounds are expansive and beautiful, so much to do just spending time at the Yerba amenities and shared areas.

This place is outstanding and the pictures are not enough to show it! We stayed in a double room which was clean and comfortable, but the real treasure is outside. The property is huge and it has a very well maintained garden surrounded by some really big and beautiful trees. I wish I had more time to spend just in the garden, it was a peace of pure peace and serenity. There are hammocks benches, a tree house (for children), swings (in trees of course) for kids, at least 3 places where you can make a campfire or even a barbeque and a great separate kitchen / living room (this one is common). This place is great, I can't recommend it hard enough!

Rooms not sound proof , so hear next door and a party out the back until 2 am but having spoken to the owner she said this was very unusual , second night quiet

Great location, the place is very welcoming with Beautiful garden. The family who hosts is very very nice. We are family with 3 kids and got a big cabin that was very convenient (although not new as the others). Every one was very happy !

The 2 manger of the hotel is the nicest persons I’ve met in Costa Rica they were so nice to us when we arrive and invited us to wine and cheese They gave us many places in Monteverde to see to eat to enjoy The husband made us a tour in his garden and exlpain about the planets Really really recommended

Amazing and quiet place. Very nice owners. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Kitchen is separate by villa, but it is in center of garden and you can enjoy the meal inside winter garden with nice view into the garden. There is cool kids treehouse with playground. High recommend this place🙂

The rooms are very well decorated and the room is large. Nice garden space outside. If you get access to the common kitchen, it has everything you need to make a meal. There is a nice shopping area nearby but it closes early.

The hostess didn't bother wearing a mask the two times she interacted with us. She told us the kitchen was not available since there was some 'work' being done. It was after I insisted that we had paid for a kitchen facility that she said ok to us using the kitchen (where there were no signs of any construction work!). Sneaky and irresponsible behaviors.

It was super nice! Modern, comfortable and luxurious rooms. Nice veranda and lodge were you could hang out and cook your breakfast/dinner. The owner was so nice and helpful. Helped us booking tours and restaurant. I warmly recommend it!
