Deer Path was everything we hoped for and more. The house is beautiful and well appointed. The 8 bathrooms made our larger group very comfortable. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Highly recommend!!

We are a group of friends celebrating 50+ years of friendship. We thoroughly enjoyed Deer Path and the beautiful surroundings. Everything was high quality from the furnishings, appliances, fixtures, linens to the general workmanship. Having a private bathroom for everyone was a bonus.

We arrived right after a lovely snowfall. The home was warm and inviting. It was a perfect setting for our group of 16 lady friends. We had a lot of laughs and delicious meals. There had been a prior water leakage problem in the kitchen area but it did not affect our stay. We will be returning!

We have just left a spectacular few days spent at this beautiful home over Christmas and it was magical for not only our grandchildren but for the adults as well. Edie has put loving care into making this house into a home…with the layout just perfect with private bathrooms for the bedrooms (except one which is across the hall and a lovely one), large open air rooms, top of the line appliances and accessories galore. The view overlooking the lake make this a picturesque retreat and we cannot say enough about it. Except that even Edie has selected the nicest housekeeping staff who we had the pleasure of running into on our way out the door. They arrived early and were patiently waiting for us to leave and could not have been kinder. Well done, Mrs Johnson! We would love to return and hope to – please don’t let everyone else take a week so there are none left for us!

Beautiful large house, perfectly laid out for multi-family visit. So many amenities. Our party had a great time. Aside from the beach and water, the kids had a blast with their scooters in the large circular driveway. Kitchen has everything you need to make big meals. Edie was great to work with. We will definitely be back.

Our group had an amazing time at Deerpath for our annual golf trip. The amenities were top notch and Edie provided detailed directions prior to arriving. The location was perfect in proximity to the course and our group loved everything about this property. We can’t wait to return.

My six siblings and I plus five spouses/friends stayed for 3 days at Deer Path and had a fantastic time. The house is wonderful with the amount of space and separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of room --- in fact, the description and pictures probably "undersell" the actual space. The spacious backyard and lakefront property was a big plus, as we spent the better part of one day pontooning and were able to dock right at the house. The Green Lake area also offers some excellent hiking and nature exploration opportunities nearby. For golfers, Lawsonia Golf Course is next door -- it's a great course. We really enjoyed our time together and give Deer Path a very high rating!

The Deerpath home and property are beautiful! We felt relaxed the moment we walked in. The kitchen is large and well laid out. And since almost all the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, this worked out great for all the adult couples in our group. The heated bathroom floors were nice & the downstairs area was just as nice as the upstairs. Also, the handicap ramp to the front door is a nice feature and blends right in with the exterior. Very easy lake living!!!

What a spacious and beautiful home. There were so many spaces for our group of 9 to gather. And when we needed our own space, the 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms were a gift! Everything was so open and well laid out. The house has everything you could ask for in the kitchen. And on top of that, it was all labeled and organized beautifully. This was our group's 10th annual fall getaway and by far the best. Deer Path was an amazing home. It was spacious, well appointed, clean, comfortable, and the lake setting was beautiful. Edie was a wonderful host and answered all of questions. This house is perfect for group getaways, family reunions, golf trips, etc. There is too much positive feedback to fit into this review.

This worked out very well fir the ages we had in our Framily Group. It was our Covid Bubble. The owner Edie was such a delight to work with. We will miss the sunrises and the morning geese honks. We watched movies and played games and home cooking. Amazing time.

We had the best time at this beautiful place. I knew it was newly remodeled and gorgeous, but the pictures just don’t do it justice. It is stunning. Plus, I hadn’t anticipated such a thoroughly outfitted kitchen! The owner must be a chef. Every pot and pan, cutting board, appliance, knife, serving piece, and gadget was in perfect shape and at our fingertips (once we memorized their many locations!). And a second set was downstairs! Plus, I loved that Wolf range. So responsive. The location is halfway between Chicago and Minneapolis, so it was the perfect spot to celebrate Thanksgiving with family from both cities.

You will not find a more beautiful, nicely outfitted home. This house has 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms (only 1 is not en suite). The views are gorgeous and the place feels very private, is surrounded by nature, and is simply an outstanding place to getaway. Both the main level and the basement have full kitchens with top of the line appliances. There is an abundance of serving pieces, dishes, flatware and kitchen tools so you'll have everything you need to create amazing meals. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are beautifully appointed. We are absolutely going to return!
