It was exactly as described and conveniently located! Really enjoyed the ocean view while having our morning coffee on the patio.

Great location , beach accessories available and the kids loved the wall beds

Of course this property is great. I have stayed here 4 times over recent years. But this unit was by far the best yet. Very clean. It was furnished with almost everything you will need. But it also had many smaller things that other units don't bother with (shampoo, hand soap, coffee, extra sealed toothbrush and mouthwash, etc, too many to list). Communication and access were easy and better than many others. Location is great being near the elevator end and also ice machine. Extra waters and snacks were very appreciated. It was very quiet and peaceful with a great view. Highly recommended!

Picked this rental because of its proximity to the beach. The room description was accurate and the owners were easy to connect with and helpful. Plenty of amenities in the room including beach toys, towels to name a few. We stayed as a family and had no difficulties. The rental is located across the street from the beach, and very easy to walk too. If needed, and there is an available pool as well. Would recommend this location to others.

This place was perfect for our girl's get-away. I have stayed at Casa Del Mar many times through the years, and this unit was one of the cleanest and nicest that I've ever rented. Thank you, Mitch and Tina, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. I'm looking forward to our next visit in July.

This condo is a great place, it is clean, has everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation. Close to the beach, shopping and dining.

Great location great host

This place was just what we needed it to be. The unit, although small (which we knew about ahead of time and were ok with), was perfectly suited for a family visiting the beach. Perfectly placed right across from the beach it made it super easy getting back and forth. Pool right by the room was convenient as well. Everything was well maintained and the unit had everything we needed. Will definitely be returning.

The condo was amazing! We had everything we needed to get us through the week. It is a short walk across the street to the beach! Stores restaurants and fast food within walking distance. We definitely want to go back next year!! Great place to stay!! I would recommend this place to everyone! And it's very affordable

Very refreshing, clean, and well kept! The facilities were immaculate and very adequate. Elevator use was difficult but we like using the stairs to stay in shape! Very relaxing and enjoyable place, enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony. The view was excellent!,

This property was perfect for our boys’ first beach trip! The condo had beach towels, beach toys and beach chairs. There were even snacks upon arrival! For parents with small kids, this was great! We packed premade food, but there is a McDonald’s right down from the condo. The pool is clean. And the beach is right across the street. Everything you need is right there. I also highly recommend Moody Gardens. The kids loved the different experiences and learned a few things too! Great stay in Galveston.

Nice and clean, Saturday night was a pretty noisy night (all night), but the other nights were fine.

The condo worked so well for us. We had access to the pool, the beach, and all the things we needed around us. The owners were really great. We had a conflict with checking out at the exact checkout time, and the owners were awesome and let us check out a couple hours late. They were so nice, and really quick to respond. The property was clean and secure. The view was quite nice as well! Overall, we highly recommend this condo. We plan to stay again when we return to Galveston!

The whole experience was well thought-out and easy. The property was as advertised and well fitted with everything we needed. There was a slight problem with access because my wife uses a mobile scooter to get around and the entry door threshold is is a couple of inches high. It was mildly difficult to get in and out of the condo. A maintenance man saw us struggling late during our visit and told us that we could call the office and request a ramp. At that point, we didn't bother. But a heads up before arrival would have been helpful. It was a totally enjoyable weekend and we thank the owners for being cordial and responsive.

Great place clean and inviting I would stay there again

My husband and I stayed at this property for a last minute weekend getaway. The owner communicated very well with us before we arrived. And accommodated a last minute reservation. When we arrived, we got our parking pass at the lobby office. We easily found a place to park (although when its super busy, I can see where parking may become a problem--not the fault of the owner though). Elevators worked well, social distancing required one family per elevator but we didn't ever wail long for it. the building iteself is nice and clean, as are the hallways. This condo/apartment was super cute! Decor makes you really feel like you are at the beach, which is nice to put you in that vacation mode. Two small bunk beds looked great for kids, no one really tall could sleep comfortably in them, but for kids, it would be perfect. Bedroom was basic but cute and met our needs, TV in the bedroom was nice to have, as well as a door to the bathroom from the bedroom. If someone was in the bunk beds, you would avoid disturbing them. The bed is hard to describe, it was a little hard, but didn't bother me and it was very "springy" meaning you could feel just about any movement on it when sleeping. The bathroom was fine, my only issue there was the slow draining showers and sink. You almost have to spread out your showers so that you are not standing in a pool of water the whole time. Same with the sink, we waited in between tooth brushing to let the water drain. The water pressure in the shower was great! Small couch and TV in the living area was perfect, led out to the balcony. You are mostly facing the parking lot and you get a partial view of the seawall/beach. The kitchen was great, we didn't really use it except to put water in there. But it was stocked with just about everything. There was a small counter you can eat at or a small dining table (for 2 or 3 people). Microwave, stove, pans, etc. Pretty much everything you needed except food! They left us a few bottles of water, which was great to have on hand. Just outside there are elevators for ice. I think because of being right there at the beach its hard to keep floors totally clean, so if you like taking shoes off, I would recommend bringing slippers. The owner also provides beach towels, chairs, etc. for going to the beach. Easy access to the beach there just across the street, close to lots of fast food, restaurants, Walmart, Kroger and others. Easy to get to other parts of Galveston.

Great location and the owners were easy to communicate with. We hardly drove as the beach is across the street and there are plenty of eating places within close proximity. The condo was perfect for my daughter and I, plenty of room plus the owners provide beach toys, chairs and flash lights to go looking for crabs at night, this was my daughters favorite thing to do. Overall, it was a great stay.

We absolutely loved our vacation home! It was perfect for our family and great for our vacation. The owners were amazing! They let us check in early and leave late since we were from Colorado and had to wait on our flights. I could not recommend this place anymore! It was excellent!

Right by the Beach! Location is crucial as you don't have to fight parking for the beach. It's a 2 minute walk across the street. Great patio view of the ocean/pier to chill out and have your coffee. Only comment is about the size of the condo. It's a cozy space. I'm 6' and wife is 5'10", and I had to bend down for the shower head. Not the end of the world. 2 Pools are nice and maintained. Great communication from owner throughout. Would recommend for a couple or small family.

The condo is exactly like it is posted. It is clean and I love the decor. My favorite place to hang while waiting for the rain to pass was in the tall chairs on the balcony! The condo was by the ice machine and elevator/stairs which made trips to/from the pool easy and quick. Mitch (one of the owners) was very helpful anytime I had questions.....Since this was my first time renting via VRBO I had plenty. I would definitely recommend.

The condo and property was exceptional but traffic getting out of the site was horrendous. Also, while we spent a lot of time on our balcony, our neighbors were smoking illegal substances day and night so I had to not only smell it myself but I had to keep my children inside to prevent them from smelling it. I believe if security had been on patrol, they could have handled the problem

This was a great place to stay for our fishing trip down to Galveston. The interaction and communication with the owner (who also acts as the property manager) was awesome!
