What a lovely experience to be so close to town and still see the stars gleaming brightly in the night sky. The architectural details of this Adobe guest house were beautifully welcoming and calming. The in-floor heating was sheer delight as my visit occurred during a cold spell. Excursions were easy from this location. And yet, just staying in to make a good meal and explore the offerings of the guest house library was also a delight. I felt I had a real taste of Taos, only to want more. I hope this property might also be available for my next visit.

Wonderful experience! Very simple.

My wife and I fell in love with this beautiful adobe casita. The floor plan is ideal for New Mexico weather, with the house wrapping around the courtyard with french doors in the master bedroom, living room, and dining room that all open to the courtyard to merge indoor and outdoor spaces into a single indoor/outdoor living space. The thick walls, high-end wood casement windows and doors, smooth curving surfaces, and quirky local artwork combine to give the house a very homey feel. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and laid out for the serious home chef. It's location on a very quiet street combined with in-floor radiant heating and thick adobe walls made for a very quiet and cozy, relaxing environment. It is less than a 10-minute walk to the Taos Plaza with its shops, restaurants, and art galleries. We wish we could magically lift this house to our property in Colorado and make it permanently ours.

This beautiful, unique home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Southwestern style with lovely artwork and furnishings. Everything we needed was readily available with clear instructions. We will definitely return to this excellent home!

A lovely month in Taos in an architecturally wonderful space.

This was a very nice property to stay in for a few days in Taos. It was actually designed by a well-known local architect, who still lives in the main house on the property. It was interesting to meet him and hear a bit about the place. The house is very nicely furnished and had absolutely everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen. This was really important to us as we like to cook our own breakfast before we go out venturing in a new city. The collection of board games and movies was also very nice and much enjoyed by our eight year-old son. It's a nice, quiet street and the llama farm down the road was a huge hit with our son! The llamas actually came up and ate grass out of his hand! The location was extremely convenient - I don't think we ever drove more than 10 or 15 minutes to get anywhere. All in all, a very nice place to stay during our short visit to Taos. I would highly recommend this property.

This is an absolutely darling place. The quality of the interior is impressive. The host were delightful and if you have forgotten anything Im sure they have it there waiting to share. The location is an easy walk to the center of Taos shopping and galleries. you will love it!

Convenient and comfortable and cozy

The Casa was great! Everything that we needed was supplied, very clean, nice outside area . We loved our stay!

What a beautifully designed and decorated home - architectural details, lovely patio/gardens and art just wonderful. 10/15 min walk to plaza (or super quick drive) was exactly what we wanted. Hope to be back - thank you for sharing your house!

I highly recommend this house for those visiting Taos. The house is even nicer than in the pictures. It was very clean and you will find everything you would ever need in the kitchen. We stayed with a 5 yo and the little nook worked very well for her. We stayed in June and although the house is a short walk from the Taos square, we drove most of the time (too hot - I believe unusually hot). But we noticed that most people would walk early in the morning. The hosts are super responsive and communicate very well. Internet was down when we arrived and they were immediately on the phone with the provider and solved it promptly.

This is a great property located within walking distance to the plaza, the farmer's market, shops, galleries and restaurants. It's also easily accessible from the main road for exploring sites further away. The house is arranged in a 'U' shape around a cute enclosed backyard/patio. The yard has a shaded patio table for eating outside and weathered chairs and a lounge chair for relaxing at the end of the day. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of CDs and DVDs to choose from to enjoy while you're vacationing. We were even able to have an indoor fire in their beautiful fireplace with the small bundle of wood they provided on one of the chillier nights. We were also welcomed by a letter of introduction and a bottle of wine from the hosts. We highly recommend staying in this home. One note: although the listing states it sleeps four, it was our opinion that it's perfect for a couple or for 2 adults and one child.

The architectural design of the home was great and very comfortable for my wife and I. The kitchen indeed well stocked and we had all the tools we needed for several meals. The communication with the property manager and owner were very responsive. We hope to stay again. Cheers!

This house is absolutely perfect for a couple. The layout is amazing. Love the way it is wrapped around the private courtyard. Very short walk in to town.

Smooth and nice

This was perfect for our short 3 day stay in Taos. We have friends from Eagle Nest who came and brought burgers to grill and we really enjoyed the courtyard and landscaping! The house is so nice and I love the art! So Taos!! Thank you Page and Bill!

It doesn't say in the description but they do have a fireplace, that was a plus.

We loved it

I enjoyed my stay in this lovely home. It is a nice size - cozy and yet plenty of room, with lots of natural light making it very pleasant inside. The woodwork and decor are very tasteful and beautifully done, and the kitchen is very well equipped. I would be very happy to return to this home for another visit. Bonus during my stay - snow on Halloween! That gave me an excuse to have a fire in the kiva fireplace on my last night - it's a bit harder to tend a fire in this type of fireplace when you're not used to it, but it was worth the effort. If you're lucky you may see a few llamas on a nearby property! I would also add that the communication from Page, including information on the house and Taos, was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay in Taos. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures indicate. Lovely patio, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed(s). The owners were very helpful and responsive but not intrusive.

What a delight to spend 3 nights in this immaculate and charming home. Every room opens onto a gorgeous private courtyard and garden. Great care has been taken to stock the home with all the comforts of home. This is a classy place with a stunning view in every room. Sunlight, vigas, and whimsical folk art adorn each room. The kitchen has just about every gadget that you need and was a joy to cook in. The dining room was my favorite place to sit with a cup of coffe, relax and take in the view. We will be back!
