We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and the lake views are beautiful. Road noise was a little bothersome when sitting on the dock or by the fire pit at night trying to hear the loons, but, no issue indoors. The property manager and/or house cleaner could probably use a little nudge. Most of the house was immaculate, but, the drawers in the master bathroom had not been cleaned, there was hair and debris as well as the last guest’s makeup bag in the drawers and the molding was dirty. Also, one of the the kayak paddles was missing. However, we contacted the owner and it was replaced quickly. The owner was very responsive throughout the process and resolved things quickly. Would definitely recommend this for some lakeside R&R.

This was our second year staying at the beautiful lake house with extended family. We love everything about the property. So many nice attention to details and thoughtful considerations by the host! We'll be back!

This is an amazing house on the lake and our extended family enjoyed all of the amenities, inside and out.

Lovely place, very comfortable, lots of room. Children loved swimming and fishing- actually caught several! Enjoyed kayaking and just watching the beautiful sunsets. Wish there was more cover, hard to eat at picnic table in sun. We brought cornhole game and horseshoes but yard was not quite large enough, so we found other entertainment and sometimes just talked to each other!! Lovely vacation.

We had an amazing time at this amazing property! The host thought of everything and the property was well stocked and maintained. The layout was perfect for our extended family. The location on the lake was great and we spent a portion of each day in and on the water. Our day trip to Acadia was breeze. This property has everything we needed and more and the host was wonderful to work with!

This was our second stay at this wonderful home and it was magnificent! It is close to Camden, as well as several other towns offering easy opportunities for sightseeing. This property offered kayaks for fun excursions around the beautiful lake islands and a firepit for delicious s'mores! The sunsets were breathtaking and the early morning quiet and beauty of the lake while sitting on the dock are not to be forgotten.

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at this house and it was lovely. The location is perfect and the house is well kept and well stocked. We hope to visit again another summer!

The house has beautiful views of Lake Megunicook. The house also comes with three kayaks to use and we did. The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. The house and property are well equipped and located very close to Camden Maine which is an adorable New England town with cute shoppes and good restaurants. We enjoyed the lake activities and we took advantage of Camden state park which is also very close. Relaxing at the lake house was wonderful! It was a wonderful 2 week vacation. We had a wonderful stay at this house in Lincolnville! The house is beautifully appointed, cozy, and in the most picturesque setting, right on Lake Megunticook. I could sit out on the deck and look at the lake all day. We swam and kayaked off the dock, made s’mores over the fire pit, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is a quick five minute drive into Camden and an easy drive to Rockland and Belfast. The house was stocked with every amenity, even board games for the one rainy day! Shelby was very helpful and answered all of our questions. What a perfect stay in Maine!

Family of four and we spent a week. And we didn't leave the house much at all.... Well stocked kitchen. Clean. Great layout of the house. Plenty of books and games for family fun. Great views of the lake. Appreciated the kayaks. Grill was working perfectly. The retractable awning was a game changer, as it was hot a couple of days we really needed it. One of our favorite houses on Megunticook.It took about a day to get used to the traffic. Was not a problem. Hiking is right up the road. Perfect location. I cannot say enough good things about this house. We rarely stay at the same property twice, but this one could change my mind. Thank you so much, Shelby!

I shared this property with my kids, their spouses and one spouse's parents. There was lots of room, and we all had a good time. It was wonderful to have the lake right outside the door and I was even able to bring my dog with me. He loved going into the lake each day (it was hot out!!). Overall a great experience!!

This is our second time renting this property and it exceeded our expectations once again. To wake up to spectacular lake and foliage views every morning was nothing short of amazing This house has fit our two families comfortably with its well designed layout with various living areas and nooks It is super clean and well maintained There are nice touches such as the s’mores kit presented in the welcome basket along with various local magazines and local guides The location can’t be beat The lake house is located only a 5 minute drive into the town of Camden but you feel like you are worlds away on the lake. We especially like the kayaks provided as we had paddles around the lake and took in the beautiful scenery. Also the house is located less than a minute away from Maidens Cliff hike which I consider the most beautiful hike in the area Overall I can’t say enough on how much we enjoyed our stay It is perfect for combined families and hits all the buttons for convenience of town along with the peacefulness of the lake. We will be back

We had a great time during our stay. The location is a double-edged sword. It was nice being close to all that the mid-coast has to offer, but the house is on a very busy road. We got used to the road noise quickly but it is loud when you are lounging outside. The house was well equipped for all our needs with plenty of things to do. The gas fireplace inside was a favorite as we had a few days of Maine weather--we also made good use of the outside fire pit. Overall, great experience.

My family and I could not have been more impressed. The location was amazing, the house was extremely clean and updated, there was a ton of space, and was stocked with everything you would need and more. The fire pit, dock, and 3 kayaks were a bonus. Shelby was a great host. She had detailed information about the property and was available to answer any questions when needed. I would love to come back again next year. 😊

This open, light-filled house is located on a busy road but is buffered by a tall fence. All windows overlook the beautiful lake while the downstairs sliding glass doors allow direct access to the dock and water. The house is nicely furnished in a modern, somewhat Scandinavian style with new pillows and fabrics. The large master bedroom and bath are fit for royalty and the kitchen is well-stocked with all the utensils one would ever need. The fourth bedroom is tucked away under the roof with metal steps making it a little less accessible for young children or older adults, but there was plenty of room otherwise for our family of nine.

Fantastic - exceeded expectations. Owners thought of everything - beach towels games kayaks float tubes swim vests BBQ fire pit every pot pan dish cutlery needed for self catering lobster pot dishwasher - basically everything Shelby was very responsive and helpful with any message that I sent. Last minute Was even able to find a couple options for us close by for horse riding Hiking was very good with great views. Camden is a picture perfect town - and only a few miles away It was a great last week of August

Our family tree in Camden goes back to the mid 19th century and where I have a number of relatives still living . We come for one to two weeks every year, renting our own house. This LakeHouse is without question the nicest home on Megunticook Lake we've yet experienced. So well appointed where the owners seem to have thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and fun. The powered retractable shade over the deck was a delightful surprise as some days were unusually hot for the area.The dock and swim platform are fantastic. With us we had 3 of our adult children and one grandson. Everyone had a wonderful time. We hope that, once we finalize our calendar for 2019 that this LakeHouse will be available for next year's stay in Camden!

The cottage was everything I’d hoped for and more! Located on a beautiful spot on the lake, equipped with everything we could possibly need, impeccably clean and wonderfully decorated. It’s very convenient to Camden, but far enough out to feel peaceful and remote when you’re down by the lake. We had a tremendous week!

This was our second stay at this wonderful lake house, and it was just as good the second time. It's great to be right on the water, as it provides a constant source of entertainment for everyone, but especially the kids. We are a large group with six kids, and there was always someone swimming, kayaking, or just sitting on the dock. The house has an open floor plan with lots of light and great views. So it's easy for people to spread out and be relaxed. It's close to Camden and Mount Battie; there's fishing, hiking, sailing - what more could you ask for?

This warm and inviting lakeside home made us feel like we were visiting family as opposed to renting vacation property. It has an up-to-date nautical decor with lots of light and space for everyone. It's location offers a quiet and private surrounding, complete with wildlife (geese, ducks, fish, loons, etc.) which made sitting and just enjoying the scenery so peaceful and relaxing, yet exciting. We were even suprised one morning, as we sipped coffee from the picturesque kitchen windows, as a deer actually swam the entire width of the lake!!! The water was clean and clear, perfect for all the activities we enjoyed (swimming, kyacking, diving, ect.) Every last detail of equipment was clean and in great shape. The fire pit was complete with wood, and perfectly located for evenings of "smores" and chatting. Great grilling facilities. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, spices, etc. Linen was limited for our large group, but the washer and drier facilities and detergent certainly made up for that. (They think of everything!) Our entire family of 10 was able to enjoy this wonderful home, where we created so many fantastic memories that will long be remembered. Camden center, Booth Bay, Lincolnville, all of the surrounding towns were fabulous for walking, touring, shopping, ect. Local grocery store had friendly sales personel, and all the brands you'd find at home. Dining out was a real treat, but cooking in was often more fun as the early sunrises and gorgeous sunsets (a photographer's dream) just make this home a spectacular place to vacation. This home truly was a hallmark for what a vacation spot should be if your looking for a laid back, relaxing location. It speaks volumes to the kind of care and attention the owners provide so that "guests" walk away refreshed and full of great memories. Our warmest and most sincere thanks. The house is in a good location, well designed, very clean and close proximity to a wonderful lake.

The house was very comfortable with everything you would need to have a great time on the lake. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room in the house to sit in a quiet spot or congregate with everyone. for games and conversation. Unfortunately, we were there 5 days before I realized there was an OUTDOOR SHOWER!!! Nice touch. Great views of the lake, especially at sunset. You can open the sliders at night and sleep to the cool lake breezes and hear the loons at night. Air conditioning system is top notch and kept the house cool, when needed, and very quite. Fire pit next to the lake really finished off the day quite nicely. All in all, it was a great time on the lake with the family and will be going back next year. Thank again. David
