A spacious four rooms apartment in an old typical Vienna building (9th quarter of Vienna) in a cosy neighborhood. Small restaurants and cafes as well as alimentary shops in close vicinity. Two minutes walk to the subway station. Sigmund Freud Museum and Lichetstein Garden Palace at walking distance. Easy communication with the host and kind response to our needs.

This was our first visit to Vienna and we had a great time. The apartment met all of our needs. We are a family of 4 (two adult children) and it was more than big enough for us all. It’s also well equipped so we were able to cook our Christmas Dinner easily. we cannot say enough about the location with the metro station 2min away. We had no problem navigating the system and at the end of some long days it was a easy travel back to the flat where we were able to relax. Thank you for accommodating our early checkin and for quickly responding to all of our questions. We are already looking forward to our next visit and you can bet we will look at staying at your property again! Happy New Year!!

Staying here was such a pleasure. The apartment is even larger than the pictures suggest, and it is equipped with everything you need. It is located just steps from the underground and only blocks from buses in a lovely neighborhood with good restaurants and shops. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to the cathedral and opera house. There are a couple grocery stores within a few blocks and some good restaurants nearby. Nice kitchen to do some cooking. Be aware that it is on the third floor so there are some steps. We definitely would stay here again.

Very close to metrostation, clean and spacious appartment. Located in cosy university area with good, price fair, restaurants. About 20 minutes walk to town centre.

This unit has everything: excellent location and neighborhood, within minutes of all that you'd need to experience Vienna like a local resident (grocers/restaurants/transit/cheap parking, easy access to main Vienna attractions); very spacious and well-furnished; well-equipped (full range of cooking equipment/utensils, fans, home electronics, power converter, even some basic spices in kitchen); everything clean and in solid working order (strong WIFI, newer high-end appliances, nothing broken or in need of repair). Everything as advertised, with no hidden fees or nasty surprises. Equally important: outstanding hosts. Extremely flexible in accommodating last-minute changes and very quick to respond to emails. Sincerely interested in the quality of our stay and offered very kind assistance to our family which went above and beyond our expectations. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely apt. along Danube Canal, close to Metro, and away from busy city centre, but within walking distance of almost everything. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come again.

This apartment was our home-away-from-home for 4 weeks. We loved the location (along the canal, an easy walk to all of the old town sites, and a lovely neighborhood/great local restaurants and shops), the roomy space within the apartment and the easy communication with the owners.

My younger daughter and I stayed for a week. It was our first time in Vienna. We had a fantastic time despite Covid shutdowns. The apartment is set up well for people with different schedules and routines. We needed to prepare more meals later in the week and the kitchen was well equipped. It is walking distance to anything you need including public transportation. Reinhold and Susanne were excellent hosts! They went out of their way to make check in easy.

Cost me 4 euros to take the train from the airport to the local subway station using ÖBB and subway trains in less than 30 minutes. The owner has an office in the same building making handover of keys very simple.

Exactly as advertised. Centrally located, very cosy. Apartment has everything needed and was very clean. The owner met us on arrival to hand keys over, was very helpful with information for trains etc. We had a lovely weekend in Vienna at the Christmas Markets, all are within walking distance but did use trains and trams when legs got tired. Overall a great weekend had by all. Thank you

This apartment is fully furnished for even a long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and a washer and a dryer are a real bonus. It is clean, spacious and the immediate area has grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants around the corner. Very close to a metro it is a breeze to get around. The owners are cheerfully responsive. Highly recommended.

hosts greeted with a warm welcome. lovely apartment and very spacious even for four people. Having a washer/dryer was a real bonus if you are comfortable exploring the city by the transportation system a U Ban service (subway) is a few minutes away from the apartment and easy access to the old city of Vienna I would give this location a 5/5 rating Dario (Canada)

Really enjoyed my stay here. Just an FYI though that apartment requires walking up a few flights of stairs. Christiane was great and helped with luggage. Very clean. Walked to old town easily. Metron acrosss street. Two thumbs up!

We loved our stay in Vienna. The apartment is clean & comfortable & has everything you need. It is close to the underground & a short walk to shops & restaurants. It is easy to find from the airport. We used the Citylink train & the underground, which was fast & convenient. It is a busy road at the front of the building but the bedrooms are at the back so quiet enough to get a good rest & the shutters on the windows keep the rooms cool & dark. The only thing to consider is the steps up to the apartment as there is no lift. The communication with the owners was efficient & friendly & we were warmly greeted on arrival. Overall, we had a fantastic week & we would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a fantastic time in Vienna, thanks to the wonderful home that the Schwarzenbachers let us stay at! Very comfortable and convenient to everything, within walking distance to the best attractions and restaurants in Vienna, but also just a quick walk to the public transit station. We happened to stay here during extreme heat wave that covered most of Europe, but the unit was comfortable and clean, which made it ideal. We would love to come back to Vienna again, and will definitely try to stay here again.

Sono da poco rientrata da un breve soggiorno a Vienna con la mia famiglia. La città è splendida e la casa di Susanne, altrettanto!!! Siamo stati veramente bene ed in totale relax perchè la casa è molto silenziosa, in un contesto signorile. Molto comoda per arrivare in centro in pochi minuti con la metro che ferma proprio davanti a casa! In casa c'era già tutto dalla biancheria al phon per capelli...Vi consiglio vivamente questa scelta. It was a great place to serve as our base of operations in revisiting Vienna! The Schwarzenbachers were helpful in all kinds of little ways, from greeting us upon arrival to arranging transportation to the airport very early in the morning on our last day, to providing necessary users' guides to appliances, to providing DVDs and books. We felt very comfortable there and would book again if we return to Vienna.

We had a wonderful stay in this very large apartment, the kitchen is very well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine and great quality kitchen ware and utensils. We were able to prepare many meals and even have a friend over for lunch. They bathroom was amazing and there was a separate toilet which is very convenient for a group of people. If you are not mobile then it could be a problem as there are 61 steps to the apartment and with luggage it can be quite a struggle but the stairs are not steep and we didn’t have a problem as we were prepared for this. The only negative we found was a noisy police station next door which the bedrooms overlook. If you are an early riser then this should be ok. We arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, we booked online which worked well. Travelling was cheap and easy, we used the metro that was 7 minutes walk away as the one across the road was closed. Supermarkets are in the vicinity behind the apartment also lots of restaurants. Naschmarkt is worth a visit and we bought almost everything we needed there, try the falafel wrap, they are the best I’ve ever had and very cheap. Communication was great with the owners and check in and out very good. They have an office on the same floor which was reassuring. Would definitely recommend this apartment, the photos don’t do it justice.
