This is our third time staying at this property. We love it! Perfect set up for family and our dog. Fully fenced. Love the downstairs hang out area.

My guest and I had a wonderful time. Not too far from the beach and enjoyed the quiet community.

Property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean! My granddaughter loved the puzzles as well as the sidewalk chalk that was available. We spent every night listening to music and hung out around the gas fire pit downstairs. During the day we walked the few blocks to the beach or went into town for other activities. I highly recommend this property and we will be sure to book again in the future!

Excellent beach house for our family of 5! Definitely could have fit more people in but we were able to spread out and never felt cramped. Lee was great to work with - very responsive. The house was clean and tidy, most of the kitchen equipment we could have asked for. Plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and spices in the spice cabinet. Only about half a mile to the beach, easily walked there every day. About 30 minute drive to the strand and the pleasure pier with rides and games for the kids. Rockers on the porch were a great place to drink coffee and welcome the sunrise. Fire pit, grill, and porch swing on the patio were excellent for hanging out at the end of the day. Restaurant was a few blocks away and served as a great date night. Wonderful stay, would highly recommend! Thank you Lee for your wonderful hospitality!

House & amenities as described/listed. Property manager/owner (Lee) provided prompt communication & even came to property to assist w/ TV setup. When we asked about a Keurig coffee machine, Lee said not to bring our own & he would purchase one - great showing of Lee's desire to satisfy us as long term tenants. Property manager/owner has two (2) rentals in the Sea Isle area of Galveston Island - would recommend either property for your next vacation.

The house was perfect for our girls weekend. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, nicely decorated and had everything we needed to relax and have fun. The beach was close and there was a marina about two blocks away. It was an awesome weekend. Definitely would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. There were many sweet and personal touches that made the house special. The beds were great and the house was very clean. We will definitely go back and stay there or may even try another of their properties.

Home is close to community restaurants and convenience store. It was perfect for our older pups. The yard was secure and we felt comfortable with them outside alone for short periods of time. Quick drive to the beach. The home was in need of some “up high” cleaning but that was my only concern. Since it was a pup friendly place I couldn’t complain at all. Would go back for sure!

We cannot over emphasize how much we enjoy staying at Sal Vida. This is a clean, comfy and very well-maintained property. The owner, Lee, communicates promptly and helps everyone have an enjoyable stay. Our highest recommendation to Sal Vida!

Wonderful, clean and quiet neighborhood. Great fenced back yard for all your fur babies. Really enjoyed our short stay. We will return!

The house was very clean and we had wveey thing for a comfortable stay.

Great location but we only had 6 towels for 8 people which led us to having to purchase additional towels to avoid doing laundry every day on vacation. Ceiling fans were super dusty as well as beams and other places up high (it was the same way last year). A few dishes were dirty that we pulled from the cabinets. Property was great for our dogs to stay at. Great fenced in yard. We enjoyed our stay but wish it was cleaned better.

Great property with lots of amenities when your away from home! Kitchen was very well stocked, bathroom supplies, toys, ride ons, and chalk for kids, and nice fenced yard for our dog. Communication was great as we needed some support working tvs. I rated a 4 for cleanliness only due to under bed it was very dusty and found someone’s leftover shorts! Had to get my dogs bone that flew under there so I would recommend making sure your cleaning crew clean under the beds. Also add a trash can for outside inside the gates area in addition to the large ones that are placed outside the garage.

My family flew in from out of state, 5 adults and 2 children. We stayed Monday 4 pm to Saturday 11am. We picked a beach house that was 🐶 friendly. We washed the towels daily, but only had 2 wash clothes. The place needs to have a linen update, otherwise perfect for their guests. We rented a golf cart and the beach was just a throw away. My family was bitten by fire ants, upon arrival. So the yard should be treated for that. Neighborhood was lovely and highly recommend.

Booking was easy, it was close to the beach but far enough away from the night life. We were there for rest and to spend a week away. It only took 20 or so minutes to get to downtown. Thank you for helping make this trip unforgettable for my family.

This was the first vacation house we’ve rented and we were pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed the entire space, plenty of room for everyone (7 of us) and their fur babies (3). Great outdoor hangout space (including gas grill, porch swing and Bluetooth speakers), with the exception of the pesky mosquitoes (problem solved with some outdoor mosquito spray for the yard). Walking distance to the bay with great sunsets! Not to far from the public beach access. All and all an outstanding time was had by all! We will most definitely book this house again!

My family from England came for a short visit, the house was very comfortable and clean. We did find that the loft bedroom got very hot at night with four people sleeping up there and not convenient for the bathrooms , we managed, but would not recommend for a longer stay. Very well stocked with things you needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The property worked perfectly for our family. Made lots of memories. Only suggestions are fixing that door lock and more shower towels.

The house was great but shower was very small for big person. Could use extra bathroom. Overall great place to stay.

The house is in a well-kept neighborhood and close to the public beach. We liked the location and the quietness of being away from the main tourist area. It was comfortable for 8 people and well supplied, however, we could have used a few more towels.

Lee was an outstanding host! Great house with plenty of space to stretch out! The upstairs loft was perfect for the teens to have a space! The outdoor space is awesome with the fire pit, grills, and outdoor tv! Dining room table was large enough for an amazing family game night! Great space!

It was perfect weather, perfect location, perfect time and perfect getaway!! Definitely recommend this place and we’ll be back.

I was worried about hauling all of our gear to the beach a couple blocks away, but we were able to drive and park right in the beach! Super convenient! House was wonderful, clean, quiet neighborhood. Loved being able to hang out outside and watch TV! Loved our stay!

The house was perfect for our group and our pups. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, silverware, spices, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The bathrooms were also well-stocked with toilet paper, soap, etc. The beds were comfy and all of us could shower and still get hot water. It was also nice to have the ability to do laundry since we stayed two weeks. The cute little signs throughout the home were a special touch. The backyard was large enough for our dogs and the outdoor shower/hose was a wonderful convenience after returning from the beach (which is very close). The outdoor area was very nice and the swing was a favorite seat for many of us. We were able to enjoy the firepit on two occasions, but the mosquitos were relentless most nights (not the owner's fault). I highly recommend a few cans of yard guard and some mosquito spray. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!!

Host Lee is very particular about his guests’ satisfaction and it shows. We have stayed here a couple of times and, while he allows dogs, the house and yard are very clean. Our dog is very comfortable at this property on her trips to the beach. The house is well stocked and Lee responds within minutes. We highly recommend Sal Vida!

I loved the beach house! Very nice!

Ad states ocean view but you can barely see the ocean from 1 window upstairs. Construction noise early in the morning. Not enough towels. The house was very clean and very close to the beach. Very quiet other than early construction noise. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us. We celebrated my twins turning 17 and the entire family drove down for the day and everyone was comfortable!! We will be back!!

We loved our stay. The house was cute and clean. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were perfect for the adults in our group and the upstairs bedroom was perfect for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. We especially loved the fenced yard for our dogs, the downstairs porch swing, and the outdoor shower!
