Only thing that was a negative: need a different blind in the bathroom near the laundry. Too open on the sides, bottom and it faces the main street. Amber Daniels - House was great. Plenty of room and very clean. Everything worked great. Grill could use cleaning but worked fine with aluminum foil.

We have stayed at various rental properties throughout the past 10 years, and this one was one to remember. The name is perfect for our experience there. Being close to beach access at low tide is absolutely wonderful, and when it was high tide, we could sit in lawn chairs near the deck and just enjoy the sunrise or cool evening breezes.

We have stayed in a number of other cottages over the years and this is our favourite - the layout of the cottage around 3 sides of the pool works exceptionally well, all the rooms are attractively decorated and well furnished, the kitchen works well and the location (being only a few seconds walk from the beach access) is perfect.

This is more of a dorm like setting with a small kitchen and eating area, but the U shaped home with a center screened in pool area makes the property seem much larger than it is. It is great for a family who loves privacy and a pool.

There is limited access to the beach at this location (because of high tide, so you will have to go further down if you want to stay on beach during the day. The only problem we had was garbage pick-up. The cans were full when we arrived and didn't get picked up again until Thursday. We picked up garbage every morning from animals getting into it.

Kitchen fully stocked with dishware and pots and pans. Clean and everything was in good working order. Only issue was master bedroom blind broke and it took almost 2 weeks to get the realty company in to replace it.

The house was probably the nicest one we have rented (and we have stayed in many places on Jekyll). The owners had tons of kitchen ware to use, area rugs in kitchen and baths, clothes hangers, tons of those. Wish all the owners provided as much as the Happy Days owners.

We chose the Happy Days beach house for our family get away and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We had everything we needed and didn’t have to leave the house for entertainment. We decided that we want to book this place again in the future! 🥰

Had a gas grill with a tank that was very much appreciated. The trick with the location is beach access. Need to get out on beach 4 hours before high tide if you want access for a decent amount of time. Otherwise you will be driving to the public access points. Nothing the home owner can do about that one.

This is a clean, inviting property. We brought the kids down for spring break, and it was great! We got to use the pool a little, and it's an easy ride to the beach or campground to rent bikes. The folks at Jeckyll Realty couldn't have been kinder or more responsive.

It was great vacation trip. Cottage location is super great. Quiet neighborhood but very-close to beach. Property is older as clear from pictures but comfortable for family. Cottage is clean too except living room couch has some stains.Kitchen was fully ready and loaded for cooking needs. Bathrooms were also in good shape . We were not able to use pool because it was too cold( please do mention in ad it’s non heated) and kids were not so happy to hear that but there was plenty to do on Island and they forgot about it. Jeckyll Realty staff was very friendly and easily accessible! Highly recommend

The pool was a great addition to the beach time, the house was wonderful and absolutely more than we could've ever needed. Great vacation even with a weird 2020 summer.

we had a comfortable stay and the house amenities were good. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the house as a whole. Dishware was dirty and rugs are in dire need of cleaning. The house is starting to show some wear.

The layout is a bit strange, so we had to move some adults around for safety. We stayed for a week and cooked several meals there. The kitchen is nice with a view of the pool. Odd layout and minimal out door lighting except by the pool. We made it work.

Just wish we had more time to spend by the pool. My only complaint is the no pets policy. We hate leaving our fur baby home and having to bring our own linens.

We had a great time at the Happy Days house. Close to the beach. During low tide we were able to use the Albright beach access and walk through a break in the stone wall. There is no walkway over the stone wall at Albright. Nearest overpass is Thorne road. The pool was great for our kids when the ocean was rough. The house is showing some wear and tear but overall it was a nice place for our family. We will rent again.

Did not like the layout of where the pool was located in the center. Because of the U shape of the house, you could not get any type of breeze at all while you were at the pool. And the pool area itself had not been cleaned, the gutters were filled with leaves, which did no allow the rain to drain properly, instead spilled over the tops of the gutters causing it to not be pleasant. The house itself needs an overhaul and its wiring should be checked out. When you ran the dryer all the lights in the house went dim. That should not be happening. This will not be the house of our choice when we stay again. Also the kitchen needs to be more properly equipped with cooking pots and pans. I'm just glad that we brought our own crock pot with us. There was not even a muffin pan in the kitchen.

There are a few issues with the house that need to be addressed. A sliding glass door is broken and the screen door coming into the pool area. Also, the cleaning could have been better before checking in. Dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher and the floors were not thoroughly vacuumed or mopped throughout the house. A deep cleaning is due too... there's dust build up on vents and walls. The pool gets cleaned weekly but the area surrounding the pool could use a good cleaning. Considering the cost to stay for a week, I expect to find it in better condition.
