they charged us for the pets which was a new fee instituted after we booked several months ago. that was one reason we chose this hotel, they let pets stay free so not sure if we will return. did not think it was fair they charged this fee since we had booked the reservation well before they added this new fee

The hotel is located by almost every restaurant and fast food place you could think of. Walmart was close too. When I say close, I mean within a few miles of the vicinity they had tons of eating options.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like, with the exception of Hurricane Ian threatening there is nothing to report. Ian actually skipped us which was excellent.

You could hear people talking right through the walls next door. The air conditioning heating units are very noisy so that helped as long as you kept that on you couldn’t hear the neighbors talking or their TV

That was a really pleasant stay. We stayed here on our way to Miami, just for 1 night. It is close to the highway but really quiet. It has a nice small pool, gym, laundry room. Especially the laundry room was something we really needed- it cost 2 dollars for washing and another 2 for drying. There was a small shop next to the front desk with some snacks, instant macaroni, tide, drinks. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, it was tasty. Staff was very nice and helpful. I liked the fact that it was a pet friendly place- although we didn't take our dogs on the trip, it was nice to see all the dogs staying at the hotel. I think people with dogs were all on one floor. People without pets were on the diffrent floor. Coffee was available next to the dining room as well as in the room, there was a hazelnut syrup on the coffee station, which was nice. The room was spatious, quiet, with nice bathroom and a closet with an iron.

It is not eco-friendly - so if you want to cut down on using plastic, you won't be able to do this here: plastic cups, plates, cutlery, apples wrapped in plastic and so on.
