The scenic views out at the jacuzzi area made waking up well worth it, as we would always go out after breakfast and sit by the sunbeds enjoying Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock

We were a bit disappointed we weren’t able to get our hands on the honeymoon suite during our 4 day stay, as it was fully occupied. We were really looking forward to it

This hotel is very charming. The welcome at reception was lovely with a small welcome refreshment including coriander soup and a vegetable canape. The staff were very welcoming and eager to please. Our room was quirky and well-appointed with a spa bath and lovely view of the well-manicured lawn and mountains. There was the same outstanding view from the restaurant, the lawn and the outdoor spa bath.

The room needed some minor maintenance. The tap was not fixed firmly to the basin, the shower leaked and one of the bedside lamp globes flickered. The first morning we ordered breakfast from the menu and the baked goods that were served contained too many sweet pastries for my personal taste.

Location was excellent

Everything was just showing signs of west and tear. Fan didn’t work jn the bedroom, grout in bathrooms has mould on it, and spa bath was super hot or cold.

We stayed in one of the lower level rooms, which offered more privacy. The upper level had better views but were smelling a bit stale, so they let us pick the ground floor ones. Beautiful rooms, with all necessary amenities, high quality bedding, quiet and peaceful sleep. Food was great, we had our dinners at the hotel. But the biggest positive of this hotel was the service. Staff is amazing, very polite, well trained, and really going out of their way to make you feel welcome. Thank you! Also, to mention that this was the only hotel that offered accommodation to our driver which was great for him.

Definitely the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at with the most aesthetic views to be enjoyed from the garden. The hotel also maintains a nice vintage feel to it, I feel I'm walking back in time with the lovely jazz music and beautiful artwork that decorates the many corridors of the hotel.

price as in most of the hotels I booked in Sri Lanka were over priced for quality and service. this is a country that needs tourism and its very expensive place to visit in general,. it needs a another 10 years to get to a place worth visiting. currently I think its best left for backpackers looking for long cheap stays
